People used to say to me that I should watch Blink again so I'd get used to it, and I'd be like 'no waaaay! Immersion therapy = fail, and I'll just get more nightmares' but actually I'm not quite as scared of the Weeping Angels anymore. Since watching Flesh and Stone I've not had any nightmares. I used to have Weeping Angel nightmares all the time. ;__;

I totally agree that Eleven and Amy make such a great DW pair. I just wanna hug them both for being so super awesome.

Vampires in Venice = Awesome. But is the Doctor interrupting Rory's stag night to get him to go to Venice? XD

Tom Baker was my first Doctor. I loved Four to pieces, I really did. The huge scarf and the huge grin and the jelly babies and AAAH! I first got into Doctor Who primarily because my parents liked it, but because I used to watch the reruns sometimes, and Four was the Doctor in them. Then I started to watch the new series and Nine became my official first Doctor, but yeah... Tom Baker's Doctor is love. : 3

... I don't want to creep anyone out or anything, but wasn't the Maze of the Dead absolutely chocabloc with Angels? I didn't think that many actually fell into the time energy...

xX
Tom Baker was mine as well, and he's still my favourite. I think Matt Smith and Karen Gillan make a good pair, they compliment each other so well. I really like Amy, she's my favourite assistant out of everyone I've seen, easily. She a good actress and she can build up suspense very well.

What did everyone think of last week's episode, then?

For me it lacked the tension and excitement I was so used to. I remember one of the first things I thought when we saw Joe and his son was "Don't tell me they're going to eat the boy's daddy" and what did they do minutes later? ATE THE BOY'S DADDY.

The fact that he was dissected (sp?) was kinda cool though, if a little creepy.

I'm just looking forward to the Romans later on in the series. <3 <3 <3

Did you just SEE that?! What an ending! What an EPISODE!

I don't want to spoil it for non-Brits...
Spoiler:
The thing... from the crack... A piece of the TARDIS exterior? Does that mean the TARDIS will shatter when the Pandorica opens? (Which it will - River said so and a later episode details it)

And Rory! Poor Rory... Amy completely forgot him. Darn cracks! Poor, poor Rory...

I could say so much more regarding the episode, but there's a real chance I will ruin it for someone... so I won't!

Next episode - Vincent van Gogh! How interesting!

I know what you mean about that episode! Whatever I was expecting, it certainly wasn't that.

That ending! O__O

Don't open this spoiler unless you've seen the episode 'Cold Blood', okay? : 3
Spoiler:
Rory's becoming my theme soon. My dear Rory... = (
Spoiler:
I just didn't expext that to happen. I've got so used to never losing a companion. And in the middle of the series, too!
D =

Next week's looks interesting. Finally, a proper MONSTER! I think we've had humanoid aliens and reptiles and fish and stuff like that for far too long. A big, proper, furry monster is long overdue.

My friend sent me a link to this picture and I kind of wish he hadn't because there are lots of spoilery things in it. I think the picture is from one of the last two episodes and it makes me think they will probably be very good episodes.

Spoiler:

There are really a lot of spoilers.

Spoiler:

All of the Doctor Who villains have teamed up!

In this picture I can see a Dalek, a Judoon, a thing with weird teeth which I think is new, and one of those robots that was driving the taxi in the Christmas special (it is standing behind the weird teeth thing).

There was nothing. Followed by everything. Swirling, burning specks of creation that circled life-giving suns. And then we reached to the light.

Spoiler:
Spoiler:
a Sycorax? "Sycorax rocks"!

And RE: Vincent and the Doctor:
Spoiler:
Oh my! This episode... I mean, apart from being chased by a giant blind bird-like quadraped, it was so touching! A real show of Van Gogh's spiral into darkness and Amy and the Doctor being the only lights in his life. :')
When the Doctor took Vincey to the museum and showed him all the pictures, and got Bill Nighy to say he was amazing, I cried along with him. I genuinely cried, so much. And then later, when they looked at the Sunflowers picture and it said 'For Amy', I cried afresh.

Seriously, I'm putting that in my favourite episodes. Granted that list is long, but it's up there with Midnight, The Girl in the Fireplace and Blink. :)

While I loved the episode for all of the same reasons as Kon~ mentioned, I was a little disappointed with
Spoiler:

Spoiler:
The Krafayis. I mean, as I said a couple of posts back, I was looking forward to a big furry mammal-like monster. Instead I got a misunderstood turkey. I mean, really?

Spoiler:
HOWEVER, I liked how the Doctor said 'Rory', how Amy was crying and she didn't know why, and that she told Vincent that she wasn't the marrying type. Rory's one to add to my list of characters that apply for my you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone list. Like Marcus Brody from the Indiana Jones films...

Is this how time moves normally? Reeeaaally sloowly... And in the right order...
I loved that line. One of my favourite quotes, definitely. : 3

I found it a pretty good episode if only for the amazing character interaction. Very moving.

The next episode does look quite interesting. Flashy lights from upstairs! Oooh!

I think it's about time I stopped procrastinating and asked to join the club ^.^

So, is everybody excited for the finale? I know I am. It's the first I've been excited for since the Ninth Doctor's Bad Wolf arc :> This season has been so interesting, and I can't wait to see how it's all going to be resolved! Hopefully not with a surprise!regeneration >:

I wouldn't like a surprise regeneration (Or near-Regeneration) so soon after Series 4 >.>

But yeah - VERY excited for the finale - Silence will fall :3

Also - You are win for having a Sixth Doctor profile! He's my 2nd favourite Classic Doc!

I am super super excited for the finale too. Romans, Romans, RomansRomansROMANS!!

How did everyone find Saturday's episode? I thought it was good. Doctor being very Doctor-ish. Plus Amy found the ring : O

I'll be really upset if they regenerate Eleven after just one series. He's such an amazing guy. : 3

I'm glad they're both staying on for another series, especially because I just can't see them being able to finish with Amy in two episodes. I don't mean kill her - I mean that I think the character has so much more to give. I can't see her as a one-series companion. Then again, I had the same feeling with Donna - which, I suppose, was why they needed to have such a fitting and tearjerking end for her travels with Ten. I just can't imagine that they'd be rid of Amy after one series, you know? Donna went through huge character development, but I feel that even though Amy has had development, she's still getting started. Do you know what I mean?

Hey, brilliant! You don't often run into someone who actually likes the Sixth Doctor :3 Who's your first favourite Classic!Doctor? Mine would be the Second, because he is adorkable.

Also, I hope Amy stays on so much! I agree with Ood, she has so much more to give to the series. And her dynamic with Eleven is so powerful and great to watch. *crosses fingers*

Speaking of Romans, my mum was quite annoyed - she works for English Heritage, who have the visitation rights to Stonehenge, and she and her team-mates were all "why didn't they tell us the Doctor was going there?!" lmao.

XD If I worked for English Heritage and knew that the Doctor and ROMANS would be at Stonehenge I would have been there in a flash. Was it actually filmed at Stonehenge, then?

Ah, Classic!Doctors. I profess myself unable to actually choose a favourite because I've actually had a very poor sampling. When as a young child I watched the Classic Series before it was redone in 2005, it was always Tom Baker. Tom Baker and his long scarf. : 3
Then I watched him as the loony professor in Fort Boyard. Oh, how times have changed...

I guess it was - on the short clip in the preview it didn't look like it was CGI'd in, and I can imagine somebody like Moffat being extremely certain about actually filming on location :D He seems to like that genuine effect.

I've only seen four Fourth Doctor arcs, because my favourites are Two and Six, and I watch a lot of Five for poor Nyssa and Adric. But I do absolutely adore City of Death, which was written by Douglas Adams and was basically novelised in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. Such a clever story! And it had Brains from Thunderbirds in there too, as the scientist. XD

I've only seen one full Fourth Doctor arc - the 'Master returns/Doctor Regenerates' arc as I like to refer it to - or the 'New Beginnings' trilogy as my boxset likes to call it.

My favourite Classic Doctor is the Fifth Doctor - I liked him instantly from his debut.

'That's the trouble with regeneration... You never quite know what you're going to get!' Bless him!

I've yet to watch a full Second Doctor ep (Well, it depends if The Five Doctors count here or not XD) - Though The War Games and Tomb of the Cybermen look good.

1 hour 20 minutes till The Pandorica Opens!
