TIME TO WASH THE DISHES ^__________^

When the time comes to wash the dishes...

Do you only wash? Do you only dry? Do you do both? OR. Do you not even help at all? :O (omg lazy.)

For me, it varies. I prefer washing though. :(

Putting them in the dishwasher feels horrible, like when you're in the rain but only out shortly and want to stay dry. I'd rather get stuck in and wash them, but indeed we have a dishwasher, so I do nothing. It's not my domain anyway; the only thing I end up doing anything with is one of the iron pans if I use them, since they cook better than the cheap modern stainless steel ones but have the problem of being unsuitable for automatic washes, IIRC this is because of the wooden handles.

Oh and I hate drying because touching my recently dried hands on dry cloth gives me that chalkboard feeling.

NOTHING is worse than washing dishes outside.

;3; you have to heat the water pan on the fire and if the campsite is titled the water sloshes out onto the fire and then you hafta make a new fire JUST TO HEAT THE WATER to WASH THE DISHES.

...Stupid quagons. >>

I usually put them in the dishwasher, but when we're cooking at school, I'm normally the person who's drying the dishes whilst my partner is the one washing them. I don't really mind if I have to wash or dry, but I guess I prefer drying dishes since I do more drying than washing.

Oh my gosh, I hate having to do the dishes, both drying and washing. However, if I must, drying is what I rather do. Usually though, I would wash while either my sister or someone else dries or vice versa. Though, we have this kind of routine in which we would only wash plastics or large pots that we use. Other ceramic plates, or glass cups, etc. would go in the dishwasher and until it gets full, that's when we put it to run.

The worst part of washing the pots though is the gross grease or stuck food on them, ew, I hate having to wash those.

My mom doesn't like drying the dishes because some of the towel's threads get caught on the plates (she's picky like that D: ). So I usually just wash and rinse and then let them self dry on the dish drainer.

The friendly staff at the dining hall/Denny's/TGI Friday's/Applebee's/Cracker Barrel usually takes care of 'em. When I'm home, I usually take the lazy route unless I'm forced to. Then I begrudgingly take on both duties, complete with whining, four-letter words, and much shouting and death threats.

Washing dishes is serious business at my house XD

Ewwwww.... I can't stand washing dishes. I just don't like the feel of the water with chunks of food in them. Bleh.... I prefer a dish washer to old fashion dish washing.

When I do dishes, 99% of the time, it's on my own. Therefore, I load them all into the dishwasher, and for things that won't fit or can't go in there or when I don't have a dishwasher, I wash, dry, and put away. I prefer it that way; only doing half of the work drives me INSANE. @@;;

I sometimes wash the dishes because *someone(brother)* is too lazy to wash the dishes. I'd volunteer more often if it wasn't for my allergy towards dish soap(contact dermatitis).

I wash them and them let them dry on their own on the dish rack. XDD
