Yes it does. If he wasn't a quality musician then nobody would have bought it.
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but it's quality over quantity every time. A band can sell a million billion albums and still be crap - people buy albums to try them out, because all of their friends did, unwanted Christmas presents, etc. Just because people bought the album, doesn't mean it's any good or even that they like it. -.-

How's your thirst for adventure, Captain?

Don't make threads like these if you think everyone's going to agree with you. You made a thread, people have their own opinions. You always fight with people about Lil' Wayne; give it a rest if you're going to cry every time someone disagrees.

Anyways, no. I think Lil' Wayne is a prime example of unnecessary fame. He can sell a billion records and I'll always think his music is dirt. I'll never support him in any way.

  1. It's Tha Carter III
  2. It was released in June 2008, so... old news is old.
  3. Britney Spears Oops!... I Did It Again sold 1.3 Million in its first week.
  4. Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP sold 1.7 million copies in its first week.

1 million is somewhat impressive, but it's not some world record.

It's an achievement. Not a great achievement, since it's nothing that hasn't been done before, but it's an achievement.
