I searched and found a closed-revived thread..so I don't think there is another.

O:

So what add-ons do you use? : 3

I have a feeling I just made a fail thread.

I have:

Echofon
Adblock Plus

I also have Flash Blocker. It's really neat. It blocks everything that uses flash, but if you want it to play like on Youtube, you just hit the little symbol in the middle. Everything loads faster! <3

I have:
  • Adblock Plus (I hate ads, like most people.)
  • ChatZilla (I'd planned on using it some, but never did. I should uninstall it.)
  • DownThemAll! (Firefox's downloader sucks. This is a lot better.)
  • FoxyTunes (I'm too lazy to open iTunes. It may be removed soon, since I can use the multimedia keys on my keyboard to play/pause songs, etc.)
  • Gmail Notifier (I don't like having to check my Gmail accounts daily.)
  • LiveClick (Notifies when a site updates its RSS feed. I'd rather not use a separate application for this.)
  • NoScript (Blocks JavaScript unless the site is whitelisted. Comes in handy when sites try to use annoying JavaScript.)
  • Personas (I like being able to change Firefox's look without the use of themes.)
  • User Agent Switcher (For the sites that require a specific browser, mainly IE.)
  • Xmarks (Bookmark synchronization. It's prevented me from losing all of my bookmarks on several occasions.)
Yeah, I have quite a few. They're quite useful, though.

Adblock Plus: blocks ads
bug48929: prevents the "tearing" action that opens a new window when dragging a tab downward
DownloadHelper: lets you download pretty much any video off any site
DownThemAll!: download manager, works great for porn interesting pictures
Extended Copy Menu: gives a context option "Copy as Plain Text," shortcut control+alt+c
Extended Status Bar: more status bar info
Firebug: useful web development tool
ImgLikeOpera: disables images by default, allowing me to load individual ones or every one on a page; extremely annoying at first, but awesome now that I'm used to it
Long URL please: un-shortens URLs (e.g., TinyURL)
Menu Editor: customize menus, including context menu
nURL Suffix: lets you turn off that annoying shift+enter behavior that adds .net
ReminderFox: my schedule tool, replaces such annoyances as Outlook
SkipScreen: skips wait times on sites like RapidShare, very useful for downloading porn copyrighted non-copyrighted 100% legal software, such as Linux ISOs :3
Tamper Data: HTTP header stuff, used infrequently
User Agent Switcher: switch the user agent string, tricking some sites into thinking you're using a different browser

I have other ones, but they're currently disabled. I'm using the Classic Compact theme to maximize screen space (kind of annoying that I sometimes click on a link instead of a tab, but oh well).

I use these addons:
  • 4chan - Great for going to the section you want to visit quicker
  • Adblock Plus - Great for blocking stuff out, like rickroll sites
  • Domain Details - Find out a website's details
  • DownThemAll - Great FireFox download manager
  • FastestFox - Slightly faster browsing
  • Google Redesigned - Give Gmail a great new look
  • IE View - Great for visiting and downloading stuff from the Microsoft website/any other site that requires you to use ActiveX to download stuff
  • MeasureIT - Neat ruler tool
  • Personas - FireFox B style is just plain awesome
  • RightToClick - Can't right click or text select stuff from a website? Well now you can!
  • Screengrab - Save entire page or a selection of a website (e.g. an entire page of a VM conversation on PC)
  • SkipScreen - Proceeds straight to download(or waits if you don't have a premium account to download straight away)
  • Tab Mix Plus - More tab features
  • TinEye Reverse Image Search - Great for finding the source of an image
  • WOT - Handy for finding fake sites that usually spam your email like Win a free iPhone etc
  • XMarks - Handy bookmark backup tool
