Where Do My Bluebird Fly? by The Tallest Man on Earth

The first time I listened to this guy his voice was so confronting. After a few listens, I grew to love it. The simplicity of the guitar and vocal melodies at first tricked me into thinking this was simple music - even now when I listen to Shallow Grave (the album this song is off) it takes me to a carefree, simple place - but the lyrics are both so simple and so profound at the same time. Compare part of the first verse (With all this fever in my mind / I could drown in your kerosene eyes / You're just a riddle in the sky) to the last verse (With all this fever in my mind / I could aim for your kerosene eyes / You're just a target in the sky) and you've got a perfect example of how well his lyrics convey emotion and meaning. A great song; without doubt the best on the album.

"Satan is a Lawyer" by Gojira. Probably my favorite song from their Terra Incognita album.

Diamond Head - "Am I Evil?"

A classic of Heavy Metal. Everyone should listen to this song.
I loooooove singing that song, rofl.

I'm listening to Relapse Collapse by In Fear and Faith.

This song is so amazing and beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite songs by this band. <3 So yeah, click that link in case you want to listen to it. There's not much screaming in the song, so hopefully some of you guys who don't like screaming will at least enjoy this song. c:

Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd
I listen to heavy metal and punk all the time but I swear to god that song has the most best guitar solo in the whole song. Three people just pick up from where each other left off in the solo, most amazing song I ever heard.

Farm Boy by Nobuo Uematsu

Usually I'm not a big fan of soundtrack music, especially video game music, because I feel it lacks the soul of music composed for one's self or for another person (ie. it's harder to listen to the song and derive your own meaning from it when it's clearly about an event that happens in a video game). For one reason or another I enjoy listening to this, though. This album (Final Fantasy VII Piano Collections) features piano versions of the soundtrack from Final Fantasy VII and it's a great listen. Particularly the song Ahead On Our Way.
