I have never read manga online. I would prefer reading it in book form. I often find myself forgetting some detail or who a character is, and being able to quickly go back and check is a major benefit to me. Plus, they look cool sitting on my bookshelf :)

I prefer book form because it's cool on the bookshelf, and easier to refer to. But alas, I cannot find English translations of the latest manga in my country. It's easier to go online even though I'd rather read a physical book. XD

I hate reading anything on the computer. Hurts my eyes after a while. A computer might be able to hold more books than I could ever hope to read, and having to carry around a physical copy might be annoying in some cases, but I just like reading from a book I can hold in my hands.

While yes I would rather have them in book form, in the end it ultimatly dosen't matter. And sence I'm as poor as a person with internet can be, it's better to find free online scans.

Books. The computer takes time to load the scans, and in the end, after waiting for ages, you see that the picture isn't showing up.

(Then again, I don't have that much money, and I don't know where to buy manga in my city...)

I usually read manga on the computer, though I do like to actually read manga books also. But I prefer manga online.

I read manga online and in book form.
Most of the anime I read online, eventually end up in my bookshelf.
I don't read that much manga, but I like it. o_o Should read it more actually.
But, I'm straying.
I don't read that much manga, but somehow I only read manga that I really like.
Right now, I'm hoping to complete my Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden collection. I read the manga online, and I loved it soo much I wanted to actually have it. So now I have some of the volumes, but I'm still missing a lot.
Same for the Candidate for Goddess.

Manga like the one of Saiunkoku Monogatari will most likely never be sold over here, so I'm 'forced' to read it online. ^^"

I do prefer the actual book. It's much more enjoyable to actually hold it.
But I can stare at the pictures just as much at my pc screen as the actual book. XD

I wish there were some manga where I live... "Dragon Ball", "Naruto" and "Hellsing" don't interest me. But I have few manhwas (two volumes of ''Peach Fuzz'' (third hasn't been released yet) and two volumes of "Ark Angels" (also, third volume hasn't benn released yet)). Mangas and manhwas are quite expensive, but I definitely could afford to buy one or two, but I don't have any choice.

I will read manga (or any graphic novel) regardless of where it is presented. I prefer a book simply because it is more portable than my broken laptop, but either way, I'll still read it.

However, the content of that manga usually has much more weight on whether or not I will complete it - if it's only a volume but a true artistic expression of the author's emotions and memories, I will read and reread it over the manga with tens of volumes that's only purpose is to provide fanservice. Unfortunately, it seems that quality is being shoved for quanity every time I check the graphic novel section in my library. Sigh...

I can't really stand to read manga, or any type of comic on the computer. I may be weird, but I enjoy it more when I can sit down somewhere else and actually have something physical in my hands. Plus it builds that "only a little bit more!" feeling when you're nearing the end of the book, and you feel like going ahead and reading the rest.

'course, the only manga I'm reading is Yotsuba.... I should get more if it soon. D:

I don't like manga nearly as much as other forms of Japanese entertainment (anime, games, visual novels). That said, I prefer to read it digitally. I have my laptop everywhere anyway, and it's cleaner than having a billion manga lying around on the floor. It would be nice if every publisher offered digital copies; I'd probably spend a lot more money if that were the case. Oh, and better translations, too. That would also be nice. Often, a lot of fan translations end up being better than the official ones. That shouldn't happen.

I prefer reading them online, simply because I don't have to pay for them. Sure I'd love to have a physical version to bring around with me, but I'll survive.
Same with him, I would love to have a hard copy but were in an economic crisis right now x3

It honestly doesn't matter to me. I usually read Manga online, just because I wanna be caught up completely. As an example, I read D.Gray-Man. I just read chapter 190 online, while others will have to wait for an English version to be released (not sure if there is a Jump Sq. NA version). Also, there is a limited supply of what series you can get in NA, and I find myself liking a lot of Japanese only series'.

Definitely would rather have it as a book. I enjoy going to Chapters and looking to see if there's anything new I'd like. It's also kind of a collection thing for me too. Even if the store doesn't have the volume I'm looking for it doesn't bother me too much, because I don't mind waiting for it instead of reading it online.

Sure I do read some online, but I have up to volume 10 of Black Cat, I haven't read any further and I won't until I own volume 11, I refuse to read manga I'm collecting online, it just doesn't make sense to me.
