So far in my life time, I have asked a number of What If? Questions to my friends. This is one of them.

Let's say some all mighty force decides to thrust you into a different world regardless of what you want. You are to live the rest of your life in this world. No one else got taken their. Not your friends or family. Just you. The thing is, you can choose what world to live in out of a list of Anime/Manga universes that you know of. What Anime/Manga world would you want to live in?
(Totaly ignoring the depressing fact that you can never see your loved ones again)
If you don't believe in yourself, then don't worry,

I would actually not choose Cardcaptor Sakura, because there's a certain perfection about that world that I feel I would disrupt.

You actually limited my options quite a bit. If you hadn't limited it to Japanese entertainment, I'd pick Star Wars. If you hadn't limited it to anime/manga, I'd pick Golden Sun.

However, since you did set those limitations, I'll go with Outlaw Star. It's an interesting question, really, since a lot of my favorite anime/visual novels aren't appealing to me because of their setting, but because of their characters and such. This is true with Outlaw Star, too, but it has the added benefit of having a pretty cool sci-fi setting.

Just because you were transported there doesn't actually mean that you'll be one with the amazing sword or the guy who gets the charming girl (guy), you could possibly live out your life as that background character in that major fight scene from that specific series.

I, for one, would love to live in the world of Pokemon, since I cannot go back to my realistic world. This way, I would enjoy life while not fearing getting killed for no apparent reason.

There are so many ways you could easily get killed in the world of Pokemon. Just because they don't actually show this happening (target audience = children) doesn't mean it doesn't. I mean, we have monsters that breathe fire and whatnot; pretty sure that's a bit dangerous.

Seikai no Monshō/Senki. Space pirating is fun; it's a manga universe with spacey stuff so I assume there are pirates amongst it, regardless of whether any appear in the story (I'm lazy with watching anime, hurr).
I'd be a pirate for the reason that, as a normal human, in a real fight I assume I'd get powned by the Abh.
