So, what are you rolling around in these days? How'd you get your "wheels"? Any good stories about your current car? Or even a past one?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 1996 Corvette Grand Sport. Its got a 5.7 liter V8... about 390 or so horsepower with it's new super charger...so it hauls!

I actually got it from my grandpa... it was willed to me! No one knew that it was, and we were all surprised when the lawyer read that! My dad and my uncles were so mad... they wanted to take it from me, but my grandma wouldn't let them... lol...

It's winter now, so it's locked up... i don't want to ruin it... instead i'm driving around in the '92 Topaz... whoopee... talk about a heap...

First off, nice car.

Secondly, I don't have a car at this current moment in time. I am at University, so I really can't support myself and my car.
However, I do have one waiting for me back home. Haha.

My parents are looking after it.
Spoiler:

Honda Civic =]
My parents got it for me second hand for my 20th =]

Note: It isn't as shiny as that of the picture :P
I don't have a actual picture of mine ><

I roll in a 1986 Chevy Silverado. :p
My grandfather gave it to me last year a few months after I got my license. It's a pretty nice truck and it actually rides a lot better than the car I had to drive before that which my dad uses now. Anyways, I don't have a picture of it, but it looks exactly like the truck in this video except the wheels on mine are smaller.

Apparently my old sig was too big or something so I'm just putting this here because I'm too lazy to actually replace it properly right now.

I'm one of those economical people that drives economical cars. I drive a Black Vauxhall Corsa SXI and it's done about 11,000 miles so far. I've had it since I was learning how to drive (my dad had a surprising amount of money to burn.) I also passed my driving test with that car, so I've got a bit of a sentimental attachment to it.

RAF-blue coloured 1.0L Austin Metro from 1990. I love... well, everything about it, it's a lot better and much more fun than any modern supermini (their safety devices hamper normal functionality somewhat; my Metro doesn't have airbags for instance so the steering wheel is a lot closer to me which makes it easier to steer); and it only cost a packet of cigarettes. xD

I can't wait to be let loose in my father's ex-military Series III Land Rover (petrol V8 which makes it rare; originally used by the 22nd SAS which makes it unique) but until I'm older the insurance costs too much even to consider.

I roll about merrily in a charming little Toyota Camry. My mom bought it for a nice deal from a used car dealership, and it kind of sat around in our driveway until I got my permit. I've had a few mishaps with my vehicle, including losing control and crashing into a fence in attempts to avoid a dog. ._. This was when I first started driving, and I took the car out without permission. x3

that's pretty bad ass... if you got a kit, you could have yours looking like that easy ^_^
still, it's gotta be nice to have in the winter... with all the snow, that is if you get snow
btw... funny video!

very nice little car. i bet it zips along pretty quick too! ^_^

lol... now THAT's a SMALL car! ^_^
yikes... i can't stand them that small though... i'd feel claustophobic... and i'd probably wet myself everytime a semi came barreling past me...lol

Now that's a cool truck! Damn, you'd have a blast with a Rover... i know i'd be offroading in a heart beat! Those have some good horse power too... with that diesel... i'd assume it has a good 300 horse power, no?

I already have my driving license, but i've to be 18 to drive by myself, so i'm driving my parent's Mercedes-C, and when i become 18, i get my own car.
Looks pretty much like this, but I think it doesn't have a double exhaust pipe.
hey! take 'em as they come! My first and current car, besides the vette, is a 1992 Mercury Topaz GS... aka a bean box piece of tin... at least you can say that the first car you got to drive around in was a mercedes... just don't tell anyone it was a stationwagon :P
It's all about the '07 Prius. $20 for a tank of gas that lasts 2 or 3 weeks. You betcha.
I can only wish i could get that kinda gas millage... the Topaz gets about 11 mpg... the vette maybe 18... more like 15 or 16...

Well, I'm too young to drive, but my family car is a Dodge Cravan. It's pretty old and beat up, but meh.

Nice ride, dude!

Mine isn't anything special to the great roads of England because they're about ten a penny, but he has special meaning for me because my Grandpa (who only recently passed away) gave him to me on my 17th birthday. It's a bright red 1997 Volkswagen Polo, 1.4 litre engine. (That's as far as my technical knowledge goes).

Spoiler:

For my 20th, he had a complete overhaul and the garage was so impressed with what good condition he was in they offered to buy him off us XD; He has two Daleks pinned to the dashboard (they're air fresheners :p), and has just had a Kenwood CD-Player/iPod adaptor fitted in him, so he's finally all finished. (: Oh, and his name is Todd. I name all of the mechanical things in my life. (;

How's your thirst for adventure, Captain?

HEY! I LEARNED HOW TO DRIVE IN A CARAVAN! SO DON'T BE BURNING ON THE AMERICAN MINI!!! Anyhow, i'm very disappointed that Dodge will stop making them in 2012...

Nice ride, dude! Thanks ^_^ I also think the silverado, vauxhaul and civic are pretty nice... but hey, who am i to say?

So, it appears that the general trend is grandfathers giving grandkids their cars... interesting...

Hey, it's a nice little car... and by making it your own, you make it more special... i say it doesn't have to be a super expensive car to be a nice one!
As of now I'm sharing my dad's car until I save up enough money for my own. Its a black Toyota Corolla.

]
The corola is nice... but i'll take the Ram Powerwagon, the Sedan Deville or the Orange TrailBlazer behind it ^_^ ... especially the Powerwagon!

Still, cool stories guys! Keep em coming!

I have an 09 BMW Mini Cooper that looks like this...

Spoiler:

Thats not my mini, but it looks exactly like mine.

I love that car so much! It's know to my friends as the rave mobile. We have a lot of "parking lot dance parties" in it, haha.

Currently driving a '99 Kia Sephia. Purple exterior, gray interior. It's a fun little car, and I love the gas mileage it gets. It's especially fun when I turn overdrive off and take it 110 miles per hour down a dirt road.

The front-right speaker is blown, and gives the car quite the rumble. The front bumper is black, and the front-right fender is puke-green. The seats are as hard as rock. I love driving this thing. I call it "the "Violet Avenger," haha.

Obviously, this isn't my car exactly. I'll post a pic of mine eventually.
