So I know there's a thread about allergies in general but I'm being much more specific.

Do any of you have allergies that require you to carry a rescue inhaler or an epipen incase you get stung/ingest the food/smell the stuff you can't smell? Have you had an allergic reaction just because a small trace of your allergen got into other foods? Have you ever gone to hospital for such an event?

If you're not allergic to anything serious like that, have you ever witnessed it? Did you ever get to shank someone with an EpiPen?

Discuss. u_u

Thankfully, I don't have allergies that bad, nor have I witnessed anyone having a severe allergic reaction. I hope to never have to witness that, as it seems like it would be a pretty serious situation. I'd probably start panicking or something if I ever witnessed that happening.

I don't have allergies, but my friend says that I can get them later in life... which I don't want. :( My brother is allergic to bees and had to go to the hospital a couple of times.

To answer the last question, no. I don't even know what an epipen is.
blessed mother. 😈

My cousin is allergic to bees and once had to be taken to the hospital in the middle of a pool party after he stepped on one. I thought he was going to die, but I was only 6 at the time. Still, it really scared me.

Yeek! I have heard of people with really bad allergies to bees. That would suck so bad:C I would be paranoid to go camping, etc, lol:C Awful. What about that girl who is allergic to water? Check it out- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-520329/The-teenage-girl-allergic-WATER.html

Now that would probably take the cake for freakiness. Poor girl.

I don't have allergies, but this guy in my class last year was allergic to peanut butter. Nothing really happened, but he made a big deal every time someone had PB. He was obviously doing it to be funny, but whatever. It wasn't that bad, though. He said he just gets a cough or something.

Still, I feel so lucky because I don't have any allergies.

well I have an extremely bad allergy to Peanuts, its only if I consume them then I get a bad reaction, and yes if I ever do consume peanuts then I do need Epipen right away, so I have to carry it in my bag wherever I go.

I'm technically supposed to have an EpiPen with me, but it's too bulky:/

Anyway, my allergic reactions are more or less skin reactions (hives, rashes) but it does get very severe.

I'm not allergic to anything. I'm thankful for it.

I have many friends who can't drink milk or can't eat nuts though. And one who can't even be in the vincinity of eggs. Yes, eggs. It's life threatening for her.

Where I work over summer holidays we get instructed how to stick a "pen" or what it's called into the leg of a kid if he or she gets an allergic reaction. I think it contains adrenaline or something.

Fortunately, I don't have anything worse than seasonal allergies that merely stuff my nose and make me drowsy. I did have a reaction to something when I was very young, but the source hasn't been discovered and I haven't had any reactions since. However, I do have extreme allergies to poison ivy. I can catch it if it's flying in the air. I don't even have to touch the plant. It has ravaged my face, arms, stomach, legs, and in between my fingers. I haven't ever taken anything for it, but I haven't had a hugely severe case in over two years.

It's been long but we can do it; let's make this our dream

Look to tomorrow because it's all we have. Turn up the music until the walls shake. What do we have?
Is it hope? Love? Is it nothing at all? We won't know at all until we make something of what we feel.
When that happens, we'll find the truth. We'll find what we want. And we will find ourselves, finally.
