Last year on October 11th I bought a DS lite I have kept it in great condition and now it wont load a game hasn't done this ever. I try blowing on the game card and in the game slot, some times it works (on my r4 I get on platinum a Pokemon out of my PC and go to its summery then the game freezes) I try crash of the titans (real game card) and I get to the end of the 1st level and it says game card removed! (WTH?!?) Mario cart works fine but It takes like 1 MILLION times for the DS to realize its there!

If you can help me I would very much appreciate it.

If the system says the card isn't there then its the cart slot 1 which is malfunctioning.

If you are using R4 and its not reading the R4 cartridge then the cartridge might be damage.

You said you tried other original carts on the system and they wont read right? so i am guessing its the slot.

From a quick google i did it could be a bent pin inside the slot. Though they say its an easy fix if you have shaky hands i wouldn't attempt to fix it. Is it still under nintendo warranty? if so you could send it in for a fix. Or check if any local shops fix nintendo ds.

No its 3 months of its warranty date. if it is a bent pin will i need one of those Nintendo screwdrivers? (I don't have one) I will get my dad to fix it for me! =D

PS: its probably slot 1 that has the problem because slot 2 works fine (as far as fine for GBA goes!)
