(I'm also pretty new to the DCC)

That's So Raven? I used to watch that all the time.

As for art, I decent. I usually draw stick figures when it is for fun. But when I'm doing a school project, I add a little more girth to their body parts. I think understanding anatomy a little better, and little practice could go a long way for me. As for my friend, she is really talented. When he had to draw pictures in English, the teacher said, "You don't have to go [insert friend's name here] on me! Your pictures can be stick figures, I don't care!" I think it is a little bad when teachers say that :p.

I'm alright with art, I've actually taken art classes so I know a thing or two; My art is mostly drawing which I base around animals and anything thats Anime really, I do painting as well, though I can't really say what I like better, drawing or painting so I've really just settled with both xD

Well, it's not THAT bad, except for all the tests that piled up on the end of the holidays xD

Since when did Christmas become a holiday? Have you ever been unemployed for The Big C? How about shopping (window inluded)?
The weather, the crowds of too many people, the line-ups (for Avatar...), the screamo-emo children that need a shout of "Shut! Up!", and the shelves sold out of the game I want.

I'm anti-Christmas. I also dislike birthdays.
I'm a humbug...

I like the dinner best. For most major holidays recognized by the typical Canadian. Like Thanksgiving.

It's the 'traditional' holiday foods I most look forward to.
~Like the pumpkin pie as Halloween/Thanksgiving approach.
~Like the overdose of 'boxed' chocolates for Valentine's Day (After Eight, PEP, and the colored M&M's and Smarties for example, Hershey Hugs for another).
~Cadbury's "Bock! Bock! Chicken-rabbit-freakish mascot" commercials and merchandise for Easter (and marshmallow PEEPS!)

Is Remembrance Day recognized in America? Those Poppies the war vets and students offer for donation are another 'holiday' thing I enjoy.

Mostly cuz I slide the poppy pins through the flesh of my palm...

Australians don't celebrate Thanksgiving, or at least I don't think we do o.o

But Australians celebrate Remembrance Day, we always visit the Shrine of Remembrance.

In a way, yes. However, it's called Veterans Day here in the States, and not many people here (asides from the American Legion) distribute poppies on that day.

Don't forget about 'Sorry Day' XD

Though that was Rudd that really brought it back, with the whole PM speech thing.

I find the movies more sad than the episodes (at times).

Last time I got teary-eyed from an anime, would probably have to be "Now and then, Here and There".

Last time I cried over an anime was... wow I don't even know. Possibly Gurren Lagann when I watched it the year before last? Episode 8 didn't affect me at all but uggggh one of those last episodes had me crying.

I bet you there wasn't anyone who didn't cry at the end or at some point the Harry Potter series, who at least read 1-7, and enjoyed them.
