I bet you there wasn't anyone who didn't cry at the end or at some point the Harry Potter series, who at least read 1-7, and enjoyed them.
I didnt cry =P I felt kinda sad but no tears

Dumbledore in book 6 did me in. And then Dobby in 7. I don't think anything else in those books did, though. (I didn't even like Dobby. I attribute my crying to the fact that it was like 4:30 in the morning since I'd stayed up all night. xD)

I... I may have cheered to myself when Snape died. u_u;;;

I cried when Sirius died, but he was my favourite character so it would have been rude not to.

Also.. my second favourite character Snape died. I never really cry about real things.. but I cry at films and books and music.. etc.
I didn't know you cried at music Oo

I liked Sirius, he was the "hip" in "hip replacement"

Yes, I cry at music. Is that bad or something? I just can't help it sometimes!

I didn't really get what was so sad..
Spoiler:
I guess Snape dying may have been a bit sad but..
You people are monsters! ;_; (either that or you're lying XD :P)

On a completely unrelated note, have you guys ever met someone either online or irl where they were the type of person that disliked the best things or the best outcome of things... Not necessairly pessimistic people, but the type of person that would pass by a 'free money' stand and not take said free money, or the type of person that hates chocolate, ice cream or any form of dessert... I have... it gets to be a very weird and tense situation...

I have, he goes to my music lessons with me, he's allergic to cheese and milk ect,
And he has long rants about things,
It's actually quite funny =D

I meant physical tears though XD :P

Lol... there always seems to be at least one person like that in a class... Like they just have to rant about something the teacher is talking about or ask too many questions about that person...

In philosophy classes it is too much like that... You'd think there would be lots of fervant debate in it, or that there should, but not really... If there is, it would only be in attempt to understand the philosopher being talked about, instead of questioning his material...

But that isn't 100% what I was talking about above... though it is closely related.
---

Do you think he rants to himself at times? I wonder if these people come up with conversations in there head, even to the extent like a chess match where they think of all possible outcomes...

I want a poppy plz :|

AND OMG. I JUST FINISHED CODE GEASS (seasons 1&2 over like... a month) AND I CRIED IN THE LAST TWO EPS. DRAMATIC ENDING.
Darn it, I missed a Code Geass discussion! D8

Eh, I was a Harry Potter reader at one point as it was one of the few fictional series I can actually find entertainment from just reading. I haven't read a novel in years, though. I don't remember which book I left off at.

Dobby is cute.
And the reason why you may have cried is because you reached chapter 15 :O
[I think >.> I shall have to check, would that not be awesome if I was actually right =D]

Harry Potter is the only book series I have been bothered to read in English XD

I just couldn't wait for the translation. And ironically, the first chapter I read from that series was the first one from book 4, wondering if that wizard thing would be worth it.

I've read and own all the main Harry Potter series.

Don't blame me, my mum just bought me the first six books for Christmas a few years back, and I had nothing better to do.

Now I do though.

Everything ends,
and that's always sad.
But everything begins again, too,
and that's always happy.

I think we mentioned this before too, but I can't ever recall the Harry Potter fans being as rabid or insane as the Twilight fans when it came from criticisms of their respective favourited series... I know that the Harry Potter series though has been dealt with more criticism, but why is it that the Twilight fans seem to be more protective?

That's very sad. The books have some better parts, such as when Harry pretends to be Neville.
To be frank, the Polyjuice chapter is my favorite one IN ALL 7 BOOKS! 8D

Anyways great book series. First time I read a dictionary sized book when I was a kid. XP
