What do you think of Reality Shows?

To me, some of the reality shows are kind of interesting, when the Amazing Race was on, I watched it every week, and I'm starting to like watching Survivor now.

But now its kind of pointless, and going on a downward slope, with shows such as The Bachleor especially.

The only reality shows I watch are the Idol series. Apart from that I think they're boring XD.

The ones that I do watch...I tend to refer to them as game shows than reality shows. I like the Amazing Race (it's a race! Not a reality show), The Mole...when it wasn't the celebrity version (a complex game show, not a reality show. They don't even live together, they have separate hotel rooms!), and the Apprentice.

The Aprentice is a real reality show that I'm starting watch, if you watch it, it dousn't have the clique "On the next episode..." its something that you have to watch to find out, but in a way every reality show is a contest or a race in some way.

I think that's the point of reality shows. They now have "reality radio" as well o_O

I dunno'...Maybe some would concider Viva La Bam a reality show, though, I can clearly tell it is scripted, and so is Surviver.
American Idol is rigged, and Simon is an 4ss...I dunno'.
I like VLB, and Wanda Does It a lot.
Other than that, why would I watch TV for more reality?

To me Wild Boyz isn't that bad a show overall, but sometimes I have to admit, its just plain retartded on some of the things that they do with animals.

I like Idol just because of the judges' comments... they're funny, especially when they fight XD

I'm planning to force my friends into auditioning for Australian Idol next year. Why? It would be funny. At least one of them is tone deaf.

Reality shows are pretty weird. I don't really watch them, though occasionally I watch survivor, but only to watch the bickering and fighting that goes on! LOL

The Real World and Road Rules are my favorite reality show. One day I plan on auditioning for one of them, probably Real World.

How could I forget Real World, to me thats like the perfect reality show, about normal people's lives, and how they deal with other people from the house its been like 14 seasons but its a classic.

Goodness gracious, since I've been sick for the past four weeks, I have watched a good bit of television. I've taken a liking to the "America's Next Top Model" series, as I myself am a model, and also "Laguna Beach". When the "Amazing Race" series was on, my mum and I watched it together every week. We really enjoyed it because it wasn't so scripted. It was original and definitely incorporated things that sparked our interest. Reality television is for the most part, overrated. There's too much of it on the block. Though, in my opinion, there are a few diamonds amonst the coal.

Honestly, I thought they were cool at first, but now reality shows are getting annoying because primetime is flooded with reality TV. Plus, they have taken away time slots for great shows... e.g. Tru Calling, which Fox has no confirmed if they will air season 2, and no doubtely for the reason of another reality show.

Heheh. Well, I was signed when I was about eight I guess. I do small jobs, so I don't get paid a lot, and most of the money goes to my parents. I'm praying I can get a scholarship to university. I've been preparing since I was ten.

I was hoping I could get a scholarship to uni too; I've been on a full scholarship at school since I was eight, and even this year I was near the top of the year in my school, but I have no chance of winning a scholarship to university next year.

I wish I could get a full scholarship into a nice high school. I'm trying to. University is excruciatingly expensive these days...

You live in Austrailia, correct? Can't you try for international scholarships?

I don't want to go interstate or overseas because I'm only 15, my parents don't want me to go anywhere either. XD

Yes! They are my favorites too. These are the only reality shows I will watch. I also liked The Osbornes. ^____^
