-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now get started! :)
Note: Moderators Please don't close this thread down, if this thread is in the wrong place, could you please move it instead of closing it down.
Note: The Champion may be merged with eliete four but still all the reqirements for them will still be inforced
Note: If you don't know how to do mapping that is okay just message me and you won't have to :) The goes the same for anything you don't know how to do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Questions and Answers:

Q Do we have to finish this all in one day?
A: No of course not, you can just post a team lineup for one day, and then you might be up to creating a map for example, all you can do is just edit your orginal post and add the map, sprites or badges.... ect

Q: What if I don't now how to map?
A: Don't worry if you don't know how to do specific things, just PM me and you won't have to. :)

Q: Do we need to meet the requirments at some stage?
A: Yes, you MUST meet the requirments at some point in time. Altough if you don't know how to map or sprite...ect, then you won't have to meet that requirment, (explained before) But over all if your finished product does not meet the requirments I will ask you to work on it untill you do. :) Don't worry you have as much time as you feel you need to complete one of the tasks.

Q: How will you remember who can't do what?
A: Aha... hmm... yes, well... soon This thread will have a written/typed record of who has PM me that, they can't do this or that.
So don't worry I wont forget who you are ;)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Record of people who are unable to do the following:

Maping - Morarity, Gymnotide.
Spriting - Gymnotide.

Well, you have told people to come up with maps and towns and things, when most people here don't have the basic knowledge of how to do that D: You may get a more enthusiastic response if it was just "post trainers and pictures of their Pokémon" or something ._.

They'll have as much time as they want to finish it.
Would you be willing to contribute to this thread?
I'm really interested in contributing, but I have no mapping skills whatsoever XD Does that matter?

Right, here's a trial for the first gym leader. Can you tell me if everything's in order so that I can use this template for all of my others? (:

GYM LEADER #1: IVORY
TYPE: NORMAL
BADGE: PRISM BADGE
REWARD: 700 + TM27

OPENING SPEECH:
You! You're a new Trainer, ain'tcha? Hmph! A recent study by the Pokémon Association said that new Trainers thought that Normal types were the worst ever! That makes me mad! Normal types are powerful and adaptable! Prepare to be steamrollered, kid, 'cause it would be an insult to my Pokémon to let you past me!

DEFEATED SPEECH:
...Well, you sure showed us, I guess. [...] Still, I have to admit the tenacity with which you fought was impressive. In recognition of your victory, I award you the Prism Badge. And here, take this too. [...] TM27 contains Return. It's a Normal-type move that grows more powerful the more your Pokémon likes you. I think you could go a long way with it!

#039 JIGGLYPUFF ♀ @ Oran Berry
LEVEL 10
MOVES: Sing / Defense Curl / Pound / Attract
MAIN TACTIC: Put the foe to sleep with Sing, then Defense Curl until Defense won't go any higher. Switch to Pound. If the foe awakens in the mean time, she switches to using Attract (if male) and then Pound.

#335 ZANGOOSE ♂ @ Oran Berry
LEVEL 12
MOVES: Brick Break / Leer / Swords Dance / Aerial Ace
MAIN TACTIC: Zangoose has been equipped with Aerial Ace to defend against whatever Fighting-types are brought out against it, and Brick Break to deal with pesky Rock-types. He alternately uses Leer and Swords Dance to weaken the foe, then strikes with either of those two moves.

#209 SNUBBUL ♀ @ Oran Berry + Intimidate
LEVEL 15
MOVES: Charm / Bite / Scary Face / Thunder Fang
MAN TACTIC: Use Charm to sharply reduce the foe's offensive if she is female or Scary Face to reduce their speed if they are male. Then alternate between Bite and Thunder Fang to knock down their HP.

It's been one day. Project's such as these require time. Yet you seem to want them all to hurry up and finish already. Also, what exactly is the point to this thread?

No, you seem to misunderstand me, what I'm trying to say is if this thread is not updated reguarly it will soon be deleted.. and I did create this a while back like last week and I only have 3 different replies...

And me n moriarty are the only ones who have worked to do somehting and as you can see also I have done alot and I don't want the work to be wasted.

Yeeeah, if I just keep updating my original post the whole thing's going to get wonky and huge, and this thread needs updating regularly as you say. -.- Instead, I'll post links to previous Gym Leaders at the top of new posts.

GYM LEADER #1: IVORY

GYM LEADER #2: MALADY
TYPE: DARK
BADGE: SHADOW BADGE
REWARD: 1500 + TM79

OPENING SPEECH:
Welcome to [city] gym, trainer. I see you are already equipped with one badge. This is good. This means you will be a challenge to me. Challenges are something I and my Pokémon enjoy. To that end, we will not fall easily!

DEFEATED SPEECH:
Magnificent. Utterly magnificent. [...] Here is your reward - the Shadow Badge. And please, take this as well. [...] TM79 contains Dark Pulse. It is a beautiful Dark move that I believe will suit you well.

#262 MIGHTYENA ♂ @ Dark Glasses
LEVEL 20
MOVES: Odor Sleuth / Sand-Attack / Howl / Bite
MAIN TACTIC: Lowers foe's accuracy with Sand-Attack, then increases its own Attack power with Howl and strikes with Bite.

#229 HOUNDOOM ♂ @ Stirus Berry
LEVEL 22
MOVES: Smog / Howl / Thunder Fang / Roar
MAIN TACTIC: Roar allows Houndoom to force out the foe's predictable Fighting-type. Then, if the foe wastes a turn bringing their Fighting-type back in, he can use Howl to increase his Attack power and then strike with Thunder Fang. Smog can also be used to poison the foe first (40% chance).

#342 CRAWDAUNT ♀ @ Razor Claw
LEVEL 24
MOVES: Harden / Bubblebeam / Vice Grip / Dark Pulse
MAIN TACTIC: Crawdaunt is more of an offensive Pokémon, using Harden to up its Defence and then striking with a Water-, Normal- or Dark-type move. The Razor Claw raises its Critical Hit ratio, making it rather frustrating.

Gonna break your rules, but I don't have any sprites or maps for you. I'm also barely interested in the games at this point.

Gym's name is in a city in the middle of the desert, near an oasis. The gym leader specializes in Grass-type Pokemon. The team I made is more anime (if-Pokemon-were-real) style. As the final gym in the area, the gym battle is a grueling 5v5 battle in double battle form. The gym leader uses an array of defensive tactics to overcome his foe.

The first two Pokemon synergize to defeat any enemy it is faced against. Claydol knows Light Screen, Rapid Spin, Confusion, and Hyper Beam while Cradily knows Barrier, Mirror Coat, Solarbeam, and Ancientpower. The leader's strategy is to charge up Cradily's Solarbeam while Claydol defends it with Light Screen and redirects Physical attacks with Confusion. After Cradily fires its attack, Claydol follows up with Hyper Beam. While Claydol is recovering, Cradily uses Barrier and Mirror Coat to defend it.

Other combos include using Confusion to bend special attacks into Cradily's Mirror Coat, using Confusion to immobilize an enemy so Cradily's Solarbeam hits, using Ancientpower to lift boulders to block attacks, using Rapid Spin to block attacks, etc.

After the first two have fallen, the second phase of the battle begins. The leader starts with Hippowdon and Gligar. Hippowdon knows Dig, Sandstorm, Stone Edge, and Rock Tomb. Gligar knows Poison Sting, Harden, Faint Attack, and Quick Attack. During this fight, the gym leader uses Hippowdon's Dig and Gligar's Sand Veil ability to avoid attacks. The first move is a quick Dig attack by Hippowdon -- it remains submerged for the majority of the battle and sand continues to spew out of the hole where it came from. Gligar on the other hand, hides in the sand and bombards the foe with its speedy attacks. When in a sticky situation, Gligar can Harden and Hippowdon can reemerge with a quick blow from underground (and then hide again).

Once Gligar falls, Vibrava is sent out. It knows Sand Tomb, Sonicboom, Dragonbreath, and Hyper Beam. At first, the battle seems similar, with Hippowdon remaining underground while Vibrava hides in the sand. However, this is all only a ruse to trick the contestant. When they try to take out Vibrava, it fights back with an intense repertoire of ranged attacks, augmented by the flowing Sandstorm. It can gather the sand in the air for a Sand Tomb attack and then combine it with Dragonbreath to incinerate the foe. Finally, it uses Sonicboom to deliver the last blow. All the while, Hippowdon wreaks havoc on the ground with Dig, rising up, attacking with Stone Edge, and then burrowing. Hippowdon can also incapacitate an enemy using Rock Tomb so Vibrava does not have too much on its plate.

The leader forfeits once both Gligar and Vibrava are defeated.

Thank you 'I am Very Pokemon.' But even though what you have posted is supportive yet very opinionated the threads you say that copy me are actually quite different to mine.
Also this post unfortunately has no relevance to the main topic of this thread I have created, so please post text that has at least some relevance to the topic.
