You remember those eyecatchers in FR/LG right? And gamefreak brought them back in HG/SS. So my question is to you, did you like the eyecatchers and would you like to have mroe eyecatchers when you enter routes, cities, and important places? (pokemon leauge, custom gyms) And not just in remakes for the future, Im talking about all the pokemon games.

For me I really liked the eyecatchers in FR/LG and HG/SS. It gave me another picture of how the duengons would look like in real life.

She's talking about the first-person view images that appear when you enter important caves and buildings, one example is the image that comes up when you enter viridian forest in FR/LG...

and yeah, I like em, they need to be used more.

Ah those. Yeah those are nice, although it gets a bit like the fight animations in Advance Wars, after a while ye start to simply skip them. Painted ones entirely unique to each route, location and settlement would be good (like this)... unless even the DSi is still 16-bit colour depth (at least that's the impression I get from the normal DS), gurr.

I love them. I also love how the little descriptions of where you are in DPPt are decorated as well. (IE. where it says "Stark Mountain" at the top, there's a picture of a mountain behind it). They're nice little touches that make the games more pleasurable to play.

They're okay the first time you go to the place, but I don't want to see them every time I go. In The Legend of Zelda, you get an "eyecatcher" when you enter a new dungeon, but if you leave and re-enter, do you get the same thing? No. It's redundant. First time is fine, second and on can get skipped. That's just me, though.
