ill be telling you how i like to determine my pokemon's nature. for an example ill use Dusknoir

this is how i think when i determine my pokemon's nature.

To determine nature you need to look your pokemon's moves.

Are all its moves going to be special moves? are all its moves going to make physical contact?

if you have a mixture of moves try and find out what sort of battling its doing, if its online or just in game stuff, if its going to be an in game, lower its defense as no other pokemon in the game can match a lv 100. (im just assuming its going to be a high leveled pokemon)

also lower its defense because it has an immunity to normal attacks and almost all normal attacks are physical there is no need for a higher defense if dusknoir is already immune to normal attacks.

so you need to look at its immunities and see what the majority of attack types are, if the moves are mostly physical you could lower defense)

this also is the case for its fighting type resistance, since there are only 3 special fighting type moves.

heres a suggested move set bases on its weaknesses:

Brick break - to score a super effective hit agains dark (one of its weaknesses)

Shadow ball - to score a super effective hit against ghost ( again, its weakness)

then i would have any of these

dark pulse, psychic, thunder/ice/fire punch.

i would raise his special attack as it is low, to help power up dark pulse and shadow ball, and lower his defense - a mild nature

Hope this helped

Psychic isn't super effective against any Ghosts that are not named Gastly, Haunter og Gengar IIRC.

Lowering Dusknoir's Defense isn't really what you want either, since there's still a lot of physical moves that can hit it super effectively (Crunch, Pursuit, Shadow Sneak etc. There are more, i'm sure of it)

Pokemon generally doesen't want a -Def or -SpDef nature unless they're using Counter or Mirror Coat with a Focus Sash, btw.

Also, you should concentrate on Dusknoirs 100 base attack rather than its laughable base 65 SpA.

Just saying ^^
