My first non-Pokémon related poem. It was pretty fun to write.

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock

Tick, tock, tick, tock,
That is the sound,
Of an old analog clock.

Watch its arms spin,
All around its numbered face,
Hear the ticking within.
Examine its steady pace.

Brrrring, Brrrring,
That is the noise,
Of an alarm clock's loud ring.

Off to bed you go,
Wind up the key on the back,
So it will let you know,
When to jump out of the sack.

De-de-deep, De-de-deep
It is the sound,
Of a wristwatch's quiet beep.

An hour has passed,
Enjoy the one that is new,
The time will go fast,
Do all that you can do.

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!
Those are the bells,
Making the grandfather clock song.

This clock rings its chimes,
Which starts a harmonious sound,
It tells us the time,
When the hand is half-way around.

I tried not to make it sound like Hickory Dickory Dock.

I liked it, but the rhyming sceme was a bit off. But I really liked it. I've always been a fan of philosophically contemplating time. I really enjoyed it.

Btw I am currently doing a project on Peter Henlien, the inventor of the portable Chonometer. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have watches! :)

With all enjoyment -ChrisTom
