As you all know the gyms in HG/SS have been redesigned from their originals back in G/S/C. Which gym do you think now has the coolest new design and why?

My Top 5:

1. Claire's Gym (aesthetically pleasing and great puzzle)
2. Erika's Gym (aesthetically pleasing and great puzzle)
3. Bugsy's Gym (aesthetically pleasing and great puzzle)
4. Falkner's Gym (aesthetically pleasing)
5. Brock's Gym (aesthetically pleasing)

If you havn't already seen the new designs, you can youtube them.

I just looked at the pictures on Serebii.net so I don't really have a background on the puzzles, but I really like the looks of Green's Gym along with Bugsy's Gym.

Well I saw the pics on serebii, and I've seen in game footage of bugsy's, falkner's, and whitney's. Falkner really got a much needed make over that really is fantastic imo, his gym in the original was really pathetic. Claire's gym looks interesting and green's is reminiscent of the celeadon city game corner basement which looks really interesting. Overall looks like fantastic revamps to the old gyms, once I see more I will come to a sound conclusion though.

Claire's Dragon .

Pure win in design , fairly annoying puzzles and pretty hard trainers make a gym what it should be . It took me a long time to beat her and figure out how to make that stupid rock allign ... lol /_\ .

I loved most of them, Blaines was fun cause you had to battle everyone. Clairs was tricky as was the maze in Erika's. Bugsy's was cool riding on the spinaraks. My favorite one though is Blue's gym as it was fun and had some tough gym trainers. Why didn't they change Janine's or Lt. Surge's?

My favorites are either Morty's or Falkner's. I love the atmosphere that both of them give off. Morty's is all creepy and dark and foggy, which I think looks cool. Falkner's is just plain awesome because its up in the clouds like that. The sky looks really pretty from up there, and it fits Falkner perfectly. It looks like the sky changes color depending on the time of day. That's pretty neat!

I give Clair's gym an honorable mention, just for the lava.

Edit: Ugh. I just saw Green/Blue's Gym. Are those the spinning arrow tiles that send you in one direction? I have nightmares of those things from Pokemon Yellow. And his gym is made up completely of them? Are you serious?

I think the best gym was the dragon trainer in Kanto. I can't remember her name.

EDIT: It was Claire. lol

If we keep realism out of the head, then some gyms would be better.

But in my opinion, these are the reasons they appeal to me so much:
the ones that I like the best are the ones that not only looks good, but are also realistically possible and suits the gym/gym leader perfectly.
1. Falkner's gym - because it looks great, the gym structure is realistically possible, and suits the gym and Falkner perfectly.
2. Bugsy's gym - because it looks nice, and suits the gym and Bugsy perfectly.
3. Whitney's gym - because the gym structure is realistically possible, and the idea of just using walls to separate was another simple kind of great to look at.
4. Morty's gym - because it looks great, and suits the gym and Morty nicely.
5. Chuck's gym - because it looks nice, and is realistically possible, and suits the gym and Chuck perfectly.
6. Pryce's gym - because there's ice all over it, with nice puzzles, and suits the gym and Pryce perfectly. It looks nice in a different way.
7. Claire's gym - because it looks good.
8. Misty's gym - simple, realistic, and nice still. Looks good, and suits the gym and Misty perfectly. Also, it has other uses than just being a gym, lol.
9. Brock's gym - it looks nice, and is realistic, and suits the gym and Brock perfectly. The looks really add a feel onto it.

Pryce's. The puzzle took me quite a long time to solve, but it was quite nice. Better than Candice's actually. xD

I also like Morty's. It suits him nicely.

I agree with you on the term of Morty's puzzle suiting him, but it is very similar ot the GBC G/S/C games. I really would of liked something like fantina's gym in Pokemon Platinum. But that one is not bad.

I love Cerulean's redesign. It matches what the gym was always supposed to be finally! Chuck's gym is also fairly interesting. Clair's I will never understand. "Lets put lava in the gym and NOT hand out badges." Is she trying to have some one push her in it when they get pissed off enough? Tsk Tsk Clair.

Because those two gyms are the most memorable gyms of all time. Let's be honest. The Vermillion City Gym is one of those one that involves alot of F-bombs dropping when you pick the wrong second trash can. Fuschia's, well, this time the walls are PROPERLY invisible so it's finally getting the treatment it originally deserved. But that was a very memorable gym anyways.

Claire and Bugsy. Claire's reminds me of the old Bowser castles on the old Mario games!

Based on what I have seen, Claire's Gym seems to be the best, but I also like Falker's Gym as well.

Green/Blue's Gym also looks pretty nice.

Clair's because I hated running around using strength like a million times each time I left the gym. Now it's a bit easier, and a whole lot more epic too.
