Grey God
You play with my eyes
Mess with my head
Numb my worries
I see the light
The dark
The dreams
The failures
Of those who too, took to you.

Caressing my arterys
Sweeping through my blood
Warming me
Keeping me naive
From those who wait outside.

Red Telephones and Satin Demons
Throw blue watermelons at me
The light burns my eyes until I see
Yggdrasill coming to me.

Winking crayons and pink elephants
Dance around my face.
I lie back on a bed
And fall through the sky
Into Dreams.

That's what happened to me when I had Morphine at the Hospital.

...Interesting.

"Arterys"? Arteries, isn't it...

Further commentary cannot be provided at this time, as this poem is more like freeverse than anything else - I used to like freeverse, but that was a long time ago.

Unskilled people write freeverse. Skilled people write sonnets!

Emotions weren't bad, though. I liked the blue watermelons too.
