Which stat trainer is your best/worst partner?

For me, Riley and Mira are often the safest choices with nice self sufficient pokemon that aren't retarded or selfish.

Cheryl and Buck can go either way. Cheryl's useless when she has Blissey or Wailord that abuse double team, but her curse Umbreon nearly rivals Buck's. It's always nice when she's got a good starter, too. Buck is a pretty solid partner with Bronzong, Hippowdon, Umbreon, or Suicune, but avoid at all costs if he has Shuckle. Especially one with Power Trick.

Marley is the absolute worst partner ever. 90% of her pokemon are awful or useless, like electrode or ninjask, while the other 10% are selfish or the AI is retarded. weavile that abuses double team? pffft good luck.

I hate Cheryl; she's lost battles for me before. Buck is often alright, and so is Mira. I think the best ones are Marley and Riley.

I guess that there isn't any point in me sticking around here much longer as this place is rigged to light up like a Machamp in a nursery full of IgglyBuffs. Don't look so confused. My Drifblim set the timer on the explosives while we were battling; our battle was merely a distraction. What? You don't really think I'd lose so easily to someone like you, do you? Ha! See you around kid! And by see you around, I mean see what's left of you all around the compound! Ha! I got jokes!"

Riley is the best for me. He tends to focus on damage dealing, which is good because so do I (one defender in a double battle isn't really very useful, they just attack the more fragile one). I've never tried Buck, since I'm currently working through the stark mountain quest line for the first time, but since he just lost me a shiny golbat I've decided to never team with him out of pure spite. Cheryl tends to just sit there and do nothing, and the other two I've never tried, purely out of coincidence. Riley's pokemon just fit my style better so I pick him most of the time.
