I did it ! :D I finally completed this challenge!
I must say I had a great time doing it , I will post more details soon. But I'm still like OMG I cant believe I beat red with just a level 59 Dragonite , 55 Ampharos , 40 Lapras and finally a level 45 gyarados :D ( + A level 30 Dragonair and a level 35 dragonair , but they were more or less a meatshield so I could use max revives on Amphy + Drag). However I hated the snorlax >.> didnt exactly know what to counter it except for Attract + Paralyze so it would'nt go to sleep all the time ... Jeez! Anyway as stated before I'll do this again but this time using Brock.
A kanto tale.
After beating Brock I went down to vird ... What ever that city was called , checked around quickly to see if there was anything fun to do , nothing ... except for a store that I could sell the useless stuff I found in Virdinia forest ... Oh wait the city is called Virdinia city! And from remembering from my first walkthrough of this game, I knew Gary (Fine ... Blue!) was stuck on cinnabar island , so after pressing the spacebar , whiping the floor with useless trainers I reach .. What was this smaller village called again ...? Idk ... Idc , after that I've reached this city , went down , reached water , surfed. I decided to explore the smaller grass patch ... south of Pallet town (*Facepalm* ...) I found out that here's nothing special .... going further down ... meeting some more trainers ... reached cinnabar island , talked to Blue ... blue gtfo back to the gym and I keep on surfing to Blair ... switched from Dragoon to "Fear" Infront. Whiped the floor until I faced rapidash that actually managed to defeat my gyarados , switched to Dragoon , used wing attack , the end for him.
Used fly to Virdinian city ... healed , switched Ampharos to front ... Actually I barely remembered the fight except for a pidgeot that went down with 1 thunderpunch ... A Alakazam that actually was hard and a Arcanine that refused to DIE! ... I mean faint! Flew to Pallet town , talked to oak , gained access to Silver mountain ... But before we face red ... I decided to go ... ROCKY!
... Which I mean face the E4 10 - 20 times to level up some ... nothing happened really ... My Dragonite reached level 56 ... from 50 ... but that may have been because I used exp share on (Dratini , Dratini and Lapras.) And by that I dont mean that I "cloned" or cheated , I simply switched when Lapras reached level 40 .... until 1 of the dratinis evolved and then at the final dratini I just didnt care about switching it ...
*Epic Rocky music, Copyright by Sony!*
FINAL EPIC FIGHT! LETZ DOO THIZ YEEEEEEEEEAAAARGH!
Used surf from ... Newbark town or what was it called? Over to the Kanto region, flew to the E4 place ... (Gosh .... Can't remember stuff. >.<) went from the E4 place ... gosh ... gimme a minute ... (Turns on emulator.) Indigo Plateu ... ? Really O.o? ... To Silver cave ... Faced a few ponytas.
*YEARGH ! SMASH EM VOLTY! SMASH EM WITH YOUR FISTS OF THUNDAH!!!*
Ehm ... Continuing .... Reached the Pokecentre outside Silver cave. went in only to see I dont have any repels (Oh noes!) (Used spacebar ... Spacebar = Repel xPj/k ) looted the cave ... I mean take eh ... Nothing criminal I swear! Going on ... Saved state before facing red , wise move, the first thing his darn Pikachu did was paralyze me >.> Ouch ... loaded save state ... Went back to face red , Headbutt (Pika ; THUNDAH! *Miss*) Headbutt ... Boom you're dead! HAH! Then he sent in Blastoise (Return Dragonite ! Go get'em Volty! Used thunder punch ... Paralyze + it dropped to 30% Hp ... Red decided to be an Ass and used full restore , thunder punch again , boom CRIT hit ... How'd you like that
...
And everything got ****ed up since I accidently pressed backspace ...
1hr of writing = Nothing ... -.- ... *Sadface*
PS; I just noticed Luigi you've written Ryhorn and Rhydon twice on Brocks list.
7: 37 AM - Woke up, ate a delicious breakfast, and began the challenge once more. Loaded my save file from in front of my mother’s house, and ran off to Route 29 to catch a Pidgey. 7: 39 AM - Right after stepping into the grass, I encountered a Pidgey. I caught it with minimal effort, using one Tackle to bring it down to Yellow Health, and then threw a Pokéball. Nicknamed Pidgey ‘Beaky’, just because I can. 7: 42 AM - Encountered a wild Hoppip on Route 29, making it the first time ever that I’ve ever seen a Hoppip on Route 29. Defeated it with Pidgey, and started Level Grinding with him. 7: 44 AM - Pidgey reached LV. 4 after defeating a wild, LV. 2 Sentret. 7: 47 AM - Reached LV. 5 after defeating a wild, LV. 2 Pidgey. Learned Sand Attack. 7: 47 AM - Defeated yet another wild LV. 2 Pidgey, and I leveled up again. Pidgey is currently at LV. 6. At this point, I’m gonna stop logging every single time I level up, because it’s just starting to really piss me off. I’ll add a new piece of information when I defeat all the trainers on a route, enter or leave a cave, or enter a new city. 7: 53 AM - Trounced every single trainer and wild Pokémon on Route 30, using Pidgey and Cyndaquil. Ridiculously easy. I just wish I was allowed to use Phanphy, that way I could go catch one. Maybe next time. 8: 01 AM - Ended the challenge for the moment, seeing as I still have to go to school, which means I have to go get ready. Besides, I’ve gotta wait till Nightfall to catch a Gastly anyways. 3: 49 PM - Returned from school, but I have not resumed my adventures just yet. I need to acquire a Pokémon Gold ROM, so that I can transfer my Kanto Starter Pokémon from Red, to Gold, to Crystal. To the Internet! 4:06 PM - I am completely enraged by the fact that I cannot find a Pokémon G/S/C save file! I swear to God… 4: 42 PM - Remember that I have a Gold SAV file from a past challenge saved onto my Desktop. Insert a massive facepalm. Luckily, there’s no rule against SAV FILE using, or else this would take a bit longer than usual. Besides, technically, it’s still my SAV file, and I am trading to get Pokémon that are normally unavailable in Crystal. I just have to go from Red --> Gold --> Crystal, instead of the more direct Red --> Crystal. Now, to start transferring the Kanto Starters. 4:53 PM - Since I already set up three different SAV files for each Starter last night, it was just a matter of catching some Pidgey in Crystal and trading them over. Operation ‘Obtain Starter Pokémon’ is a success. And now, seeing as I no longer need Cyndaquil, he shall be returning to a box. Farewell, Cyndaquil. I won’t release him, on some off-chance that I may need him in the future. Now, to Level Grinding as I wait for Nightfall, for my chance to obtain a Gastly. 5:25 PM - Did some extreme grinding (and yes, it was extreme). Raised Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander to LV. 12, the same as my Pidgey. Time to smash Sprout Tower with my Charmander. But first, dinner (no, not a Legend of Zelda reference. I’m actually going to go eat dinner.). 5:26 PM- Decided that Pidgey was useless now, seeing as I’ve got Charmander to take down anything Pidgey can defeat. With Bulbasaur and Squirtle, I’ve got the Grass-Water-Fire triangle, so I’ll be safe for now, and those three should be enough to protect me until I get my hands on a Magnemite. From there, I’ll add Eevee, which I hope to evolve into an Umbreon, and then I’ll add a Psychic-type as the finishing piece.
6:00 PM - Violet Gym and the Zephyr Badge
This entire Gym is Charmander’s time to shine. Charmander won’t be getting much action in the approaching cave, and Whitney’s Miltank is exactly a good match-up (with that damnable Rollout attack). So, Charmander will take home the Zephyr Badge this time, and we’ll probably be seeing a repeat performance in Azalea Town’s Gym.
Battle with Falkner
We exchange witty banter, he says something about Electric Pokémon owning Flying-types, but I honestly wasn’t paying attention enough to care. The battle music plays, the screen fades to black, and the fight is on!
First Turn
The battle begins with Falkner sending out his LV. 7 Pidgey. This Pidgey won’t be a match for my Charmander, which is double his level. Charmander goes first, and opens up the match with an Ember attack, leaving Pidgey at Red Health. Not what I was hoping for (a OHKO), but it’s acceptable, especially considering that Falkner will waste his Potion on his Pidgey now. I’m hit with a Mud-Slap, which brings my HP down by three points, and reduces my accuracy.
Second Turn
Falkner doesn’t use a Potion on his Pidgey, leaving it to faint to my Charmander’s Ember. Here comes Pidgeotto. But, what’s this? Level up, Charmander, right to LV. 15! Hope you’re ready to just hand over the badge, Falkner.
Third Turn
Pidgeotto is sent out, which is unsurprising. LV. 9 isn’t that much of a threat to me at this point. Take ‘em down, Charmander! I open the battle up with an Ember attack, leaving Pidgeotto at just over half health. If Falkner’s got a potion, he’ll be using it next turn. Pidgeotto responds with a Gust, which confuses me, seeing as I know that it has Mud-Slap.
Fourth Turn
Charmander uses Ember and, whoops, I accidently Pidgeotto. This battle didn’t even last five turns. I’ve eaten sandwiches that have taken more time than this battle. Boring!
6:06 PM - Got awarded the badge with minimal effort. Boring battle, seeing as it took me more time to grind than actually defeat Falkner. Oh well. Hopefully, Whitney will be tougher than this (cause I know that Bugsy doesn’t have a chance in hell). Also, nabbed the Mud-Slap TM.
I just finished defeating Team Rocket, Bugsy, my Rival, the entire Ilex Forest trainer cast, and every trainer near the Daycare. Currently Level Grinding to defeat Whitney.
Name: Wartortle Gender: Male Level: 23 Attacks: Tackle, Water Gun, Bite, Withdraw
Name: Kadabra Gender: Male Level: 23 Attacks: Psybeam, ThunderPunch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch
UPDATE #3
Managed to get to Ecruteak City, after winning the Bug Catching Contest last night (by capturing a Pinsir). Defeated Silver, the Kimono Girls, and Morty all in one go. I spent more time grinding my party up to LV. 31 thought, trying to get Eevee to evolve into an Umbreon, which he refused to do. Next task is capturing a Magnemite and then, after Eevee evolves, my team will be complete.
Okay, my Blue file died on me... so now I'm going to attempt this challange now on my Crystal File.
---
- Started a new file and put the time as 10am. Started as a girl and named myself Melody.
- Recieved the PokéGear from my mum and made the day Sunday. Also made it DST. Also arrived at Elm's lab and started with Totodile (which'll be a future Surf Slave). Also took off Berry from Totodile.
- Arrived in Route 29 and Picked up a Potion and also a Berry from a Tree. Also fled from some Battles.
- Arrived in Cherrygrove City and talked to an old man. He gave me an Map card that allowed me to view the Town Map on the PokéGear.
- Arrived in Route 30 and picked another Berry from a tree and talked to a man in the house to recieve another Berry. Avoided from a battle and entered Mr. pokemons house. He gave me the Mystery Egg and Prof. Oak gave me the Pokédex. He healed my team and I left his house to get a Phone Call from Prof Elm.
- Travelled back to Cherrygrove City avoiding more battles and ran into my Rival.
Rival ???
Chikorita: Gave me a spot of bother as it used growl 2 times in order to weaken my Attack. Used Leer 4 times and managed to to knock it out after a few Scratches. Only survived with 2 HP.
- Totodile grew to level 6. Rival also pushed me out of the way so I travelled back to Route 29 avoiding the grass and arrived back at New Bark Town.
- Entered Elm's lab and named my Rival "SILVER". Showed Elm the Mystery Egg and got 5 Poké Balls from Elm's Aide. Also talked to my mum and allowed her to save my money.
- Travelled back to Route 29 and let the Dude teach me how to catch pokemons. Avoided another battle and headed north to Route 46.
- Accidently killed a Geodude and caught another one. Named it Bowser. Avoided more battles and arrived at Cherrygrove City healing my team at a Poké Center and throwing Totodile in the PC.
- Bought 10 Potions at the Poké Mart and 1 Poké Ball. Left and travelled north to Route 30.
- Defeated all trainers on Route 30 growing Bowser to level 7. Arrived in Route 31 and finished off the last trainer growing Bowser to level 8.
- Arrived in Violet City and healed my team. Entered the gym and defeated the trainers growing Bowser to level 10. Wasted 1 Potion and took on Falkner.
Gym Leader Falkner
Pidgey: Actually gave me some hassle as it kept spamming Mud-Slap on Bowser making it difficult to hit (as it dropped my Accuracy). It soon fell to 3 Tackle's. Wasted 1 Potion to heal.
Pidgeotto: With my Accuracy down enough, this enemy gave even more trouble to Bowser since it's Mud-Slap was stronger (and Tackle kept missing). With 2 Critical Hits from Bowser's Tackle, Pidgeotto went down from 4 Tackle's growing Bowser to level 11.
- Recieved Zephyrbadge and the TM Mud-Slap.
- Recieved a call from Prof. Elm and travelled to the Poké Center to recieve the Mystery Egg from Elm's Aid. Also healed my team and travelled to Sprout Tower.
- Picked up a Paralyz Heal while in Sprout Tower and also picked up a X Accuracy. Also picked up a Potion Also ran into rival (who fled) and picked up a Escape Rope. Defeated every trainer growing Bowser to level 15.
- Recieved the Flash HM off the Elder and used Escape Rope to flee Sprout Tower and healed team at the Poké Center.

Okay everyone, it's update time. I missed yesterday's update, mostly because I was grinding everyone up to LV. 40, which was a pain, especially considering that my Eevee still refuses to evolve into an Umbreon! Anyway, this is a list of everything that I've done so far.
Awakened the 3 Legendary Dogs.
Defeated Morty with Eevee's Bite attack.
Completely wrecked the Kimono Girls with Eevee, trying to get it to evolve.
Trekked off to the next city, and visited the Lighthouse. Defeated every trainer there, spoke to Jasmine, then set off to Cianwood City.
Made it to Cianwood.
Went to Cianwood Gym, and wrecked everyone with my LV. 40 Kadabra. Note to self, trade Kadabra and evolve it tomorrow.
Went to the medicine man/drug dealer (we all know that he is. Look at those shades and tells me he doesn't sell a special type of medicine), and got the SecretPotion.
Surf-ed back to the Lighthouse, gave up the SecretPotion to Jasmine.
Walked off to the Gym, defeated Jasmine with Kadabra's Fire Punch.
Ran off to Ecruteak, surf-ed to Mahogany, went to the Lake of Rage, and wrecked the Gyarados with my Venusaur.
Flew to Cherrygrove, gave the Red Scare to Mr. Pokemon, got Exp. Share, then started abusing it for grinding.
Went to the Rocket 'secret' base, and, along with Lance, destroyed the entire place. Not even difficult.
Went to the Gym, defeated Pyrce with Venusaur, got the next badge, and then flew to Goldenrod City.
Went back to Goldenrod, destroyed every single Rocket trainer that dared step in my way.
Kicked Silver's ass, just because I got tired of his emo mood-swings.
Saved the Radio Tower
Flew back to Mahogany, then entered the Ice Cave.
Exited Ice Cave, entered Blackthorn City.
Saved my game, ended the challenge for the day, to begin my R/S/E Triospecies Challenge.
So, as you can see, I accomplished quite a bit of things in a single day. I think I grinded too much though. I've almost surpassed the first two of the Elite Four, level-wise. Regardless, this is my current team.
Name: Kadabra Gender: Male Attacks: Psychic, ThunderPunch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch Level: 44
Name: Eevee Gender: Female Attacks: Take Down, Bite, Iron Tail, Shadow Ball Level: 44
WHY WON'T YOU EVOLVE EEVEE!? PLEASE!? I was going to catch a Magnemite and add it to the team, but Magnemite (and Magneton) kind of suck in Generation II. I think I'll go for an Electabuzz, or a Raichu. Maybe I should have caught one in my Pokemon Red file...
Name:Eevee Gender: Female Level: 44 Attacks: Take Down/Iron Tail/Shadow Ball/Bite
Name: Charizard Gender: Male Level: 44 Attacks: Fly/Slash/Flamethrower/Smokescreen
Name: Kadabra Gender: Male Level: 44 Attacks: Psychic/Fire Punch/Ice Punch/ThunderPunch
Name: Blastoise Gender: Male Level: 44 Attacks: Strength/Surf/Bite/Ice Punch
Rushed off to the PokéCenter to heal up after the grueling run-through of Ice Cave. Afterward, I went to the PokéMart to stock up on Potions and Revives. I really should have taken the time to buy some Sodas back at Goldenrod City. Oh well, too late now.
Bought twenty Revives, using up all my cash. Luckily, I've been hoarding Potions since I started.
Entered Blackthorn City's Gym. I am prepared to kick ass!
Started crying after realizing that I cannot use the ExtremeSpeed Dratini that I can get soon. FFFFFFUUUUU---!
Defeated all the Trainers in the Gym, pushed the boulders into the lava, and battled Claire.
Beat Claire, without losing a single Pokémon, and she threw a fit because she sucks so badly. She sent me off to the Dragon's Den. Once again, this sucks because I can't use ExtremeSpeed Dratini on this Challenge. Oh well. I can use it for a Mono-type Challenge, when I trade it.
YES! Finally, after what I think is three days, Eevee has finally evolved into an Umbreon! Thank you! Now, I just have to get a Water-type Pokémon that can learn Whirlpool. I should have caught some HM Slaves earlier...
Caught a Mantine to be my Whirlpool Slave. Now, all I've gotta do is catch a Pokémon that can learn Cut and Flash....
Apparently, Bellsprout learns Flash and Cut, which means that I already have my two HM Slaves. Amazing that I actually managed to fit Surf/Strength/Fly on my team of Pokémon that I actually plan on using.
Answered all the questions correctly, got my ExtremeSpeed Dratini (which I can't use at all), my Rising Badge, and the Dragonbreath TM, which I'm teaching to Charizard to get rid of Smokescreen.
Flew back to New Bark Town, collected my Master Ball, and left home for Kanto.
Took, as the big-boned person said, my first step in Kanto. Went through Tohjo Falls. Defeated the chick with the Bulbasaur evolutionary line.
Entered Victory Road, or whatever the hell it's called. Here's a decent question; why do they have someone checking how many badges you have, when you can't get even get past Tohjo Falls unless you have the Rising Badge, which you need to use Waterfall? It just makes no sense. Every single Badge that you get, you basically need to have gotten it at some point or another, to get to the next town.
Beat down Silver with Kadabra alone. That's why I love the Abra family, up to Generation VI, when they lost the full power of the Elemental Punches.
Started my Elite Four run. This is where everything comes to a head...
Name:Umbreon Gender: Female Level: 46 Attacks: Take Down/Iron Tail/Shadow Ball/Bite
Name: Charizard Gender: Male Level: 46 Attacks: Fly/Slash/Flamethrower/Dragonbreath
Name: Kadabra Gender: Male Level: 45 Attacks: Psychic/Fire Punch/Ice Punch/ThunderPunch
Name: Blastoise Gender: Male Level: 46 Attacks: Strength/Surf/Bite/Ice Punch
Challenged Will, and easily rocked his whole team with my new Umbreon. I love you, Umbreon. Even as an Eevee, you always managed to bail me out.
Defeated Koga with Charizard and Kadabra.
Bruno, you poor bastard. You never stood a chance against my Kadabra's Psychic/Ice Punch combination.
Karen was the closest thing to 'difficult' so far, just because I don't have a Fighting-type Pokémon. Still, rather easy.
Maybe it's because I'm older, and I can fully understand type-advantages now, and how to make an effective team, but Lance seemed really easy to beat this time. I took out two Dragonite, and a Gyarados with Kadabra before his punk Aerodactyl outsped me and used Hyper Beam, like a noob. Killed it next turn with Blastoise. Then, he sends out Dragonite. Respond with Ice Beam, then get a Hyper Beam as a response. Kill Dragonite, then finish off Charizard with Umbreon.
Not bad, huh? Now, time to go own the Kanto Gym Leaders, and then Red.
P.S: You wouldn't know how much time I had to waste soft-resetting to get the same ID Number as my Crystal file, even though I still (luckily) got the added EXP bonus. Maybe I shouldn't have done that though, since now it's harder to win the prize at the Radio Tower...
Fun Fact: I never once had to use Venusaur during the Elite Four. Talk about a waste of time Level Grinding.
Got on the S.S Anne, and embarked on my new journey throughout Kanto. This should be fun. It might take me more than four days to completely wreck Kanto's world.
Arrived at Vermillion City after helping out an old man.
Went to the PokéCenter, healed, and opened up my PC. Withdrew my Bellsprout, cut down the tree in front of Lt. Surge's Gym, then beat down every Trainer with Umbreon.
Defeat Lt. Surge with Umbreon and Kadabra.
Entered Saffron after being denied entrance to the Underground TunnelPath (like it really makes a difference).
Entered the Gym, beat all the Trainers, and found Sabrina in less than five minutes.
None of Sabrina's Pokémon lasted more than two turns against my Umbreon's Bite attack. Imagine if we had Dark Pulse in Generation II...
From Saffron, traveled to Cerulean, then to the PokéCenter.
Headed north, defeating every single Trainer that stood between me and Cerulean Cape, so I won't have to do it later.
Went back down to Cerulean City, healed up, then went east this time, to the Power Plant.
Got to the Power Plant, after thoroughly kicking every Trainer's ass until they begged for mercy.
Laughed at the Manager's rage, because I can, and because I am kind of a ****.
lol "Bye-Bye a Go-Go". I should put that into my next Userbar...
"Secret, is my mission, so tell you I not!", seriously, where the hell is this guy from? Rocket standards must be falling on hard times if they're hiring people that don't even speak English.... or Japanese. One of the two. Where the hell is the Pokémon world again?
Beat the Rocket brainless, though, to be honest, it wasn't that hard of a task.
Helped Mr. Manager fix his generator, just because I might need to use the Magnet Train.
Ruined Misty's date, for teh lulz.
Challenged Misty.
Beat the living hell out of Misty.
Walked out with a new badge.
Ran off to Celadon City, in search of my newest badge.
Talked to the perverted old man outside the Gym, laughed with him.
Walked inside the Gym, burned down the place with Charizard.
Left with another new badge.
Went to Cycling Road.
Raged because I never picked up a damn Bicycle. Now I've gotta take the long way, which means I have to go to Lavender Town.
Saw Pokémon graves.
Laughed.
Kept on truckin'.
Reached Fuchsia City without any problems.
Closed out the emulator and got ready to go to sleep.

Its either real or its a dream, there's nothing that is inbetween, Twiiiiiliiiiiight
Well, after spending the entire night awake, looking for a decent (and working), and English version of a Pokémon SoulSilver ROM file, I have finally woken up, after about seven hours of sleep. I plan on beating this Challenge, and I plan on beating it today, then moving on to a Pokémon SoulSilver Mono-type Challenge.
P.S: If anyone would like some information on how to get Pokémon SoulSilver/HeartGold working on their computer, feel free to Personal or Visitor Message me. I'll gladly help you out.

Boot up VisualBoyAdvance and my Crystal ROM.
Start up iTunes, since my iPod is dead at the moment.
Load up my SAV FILE, and begin the game.
Entered the Fuschia Gym, in search of Janine, and my my newest Badge.
Got put to Sleep, and Poisoned while in this Gym, all happening to Umbreon. Damn, this makes me wish they had Abilities back in Generation II. Synchronize would have been extremely useful.
Found Janine (sadly before defeating all the other Trainers), and began my battle.
Defeat Janine, even after being Poisoned by Toxic.
Rushed off to the PokéCenter, to heal my Umbreon's Badly Poisoned status.
Left Fuschia the way I came, from the east. Stupid Cycling Road...
Nabbed the PP Up that I forgot to grab earlier.
Grabbed a Nugget on the trip back too.
Got extremely pissed when I realized that I never bothered to get the Radio Card in Johto, meaning that I've gotta take the Magnet Train back to Goldenrod, complete the test, the travel back to Lavender Town to collect my Expansion Card. What a pain in the ass.
Took the train back to Goldenrod, passed the test with flying colors, and then rode the train back. At least the Magnet Train is more efficient than the New York Metro...
Woke up the Snorlax, and caught it, just to get its Leftovers.
Just so you know, I caught Snorlax in a PokéBall. Try beating that!
Entered Diglett Cave, traveled down to Viridian City, then Pallet, the Surfed down to the completely OWNED remains of Cinnabar Island. Nature: 1; Cinnabar: 0.
Entered the completely raped remains of the Seaform Islands. Seriously, I don't get why the entire cave was scrapped. Even if Red already caught Articuno at this point, that doesn't mean that an entire cave goes missing!
Destroyed Blaine with Kadabra alone. Psychic FTW!
Flew back to Viridian City, healed at the PokéCenter, then entered the Viridian City Gym. Is it just me, or do those green things look like Legos?
Completely wrecked Blue's ****. It was awesome.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO VIRIDIAN FOREST!? Did someone burn the damn thing down!? Seriously Game Freak, you completely raped Kanto. No Seaform Islands, no Safari Zone, Viridian Forest ISN'T ****ING THERE, Cinnabar got completely owned by a volcano, and you're missing a whole bunch of other stuff (like the Pewter Museum). SoulSilver better make this all up to me...
Entered Pewter City, found the Gym, destroyed it with Venusaur's Razor Leaf. Man, I wish Venusaur could learn Energy Ball in Generation II... There is a serious lack of decent Grass-type moves in the Generations before VI.
I HAVE ALL 16 BADGES! Mt. SILVER, HERE WE COME!
Flew back to Pallet to get Oak's permission to use Mt. Silver. Got said permission, and flew off to Viridian City.
Flew to the Indigo Plateau to stock up on items like Max Repel. There's no way in hell that I'm going to face Red with a weakened team! That's just suicide.
Flew back to Viridian City, entered the Pokémon League building, and ran off to Mt. Silver.
Withdrew my... well, worthless Mantine so I can use Whirlpool and Waterfall.
****! I need Flash. That means someone's gonna have to sit out for a bit... Venusaur, why don't you have a seat?
Dropped Venusaur in Box 1, withdrew my Bellsprout. If I knew Venusaur wasn't going to be any help through Mt. Silver, I wouldn't have bothered raising it. Waste of my Grinding time. Stupid damn Venusaur!
Found a Larvitar, and caught it for the G/S/C Mono-type Rock Challenge.
Found Red. This battle will be documented, for I feel that it's much more interesting than to just read my post saying 'LOL BEAT RED, I R WINRAR!'
BATTLE WITH RED
(You can tell it's serious business cause it's in all caps)
First Round:I open up with my Kadabra, Red, with his Pikachu. I wasn't expecting Pikachu right out of the gate, but that makes this battle a whole lot easier for me. He starts out with a Thunder, easily out-speeding my Kadabra. Too bad he missed anyways. My Psychic hits, and drops Pikachu to the Yellow-Health zone. Great start so far!
Second Round: Damn Red used a Full Restore, not that it really helped anything, considering I used another Psychic attack. Dropped Pikachu back into the Yellow, and we move onto the next round.
Third Round: Hit by a Thunder, I live with 11 HP! Bye-bye, Pikachu. Another Psychic sends Pikachu sprawling, and Red responds with his own Psychic-type, Espeon. I keep Kadabra in because, even if I were to switch, he's dead weight now. Might as well hope for a Critical Hit.
Fourth Round: Kadabra got out-sped, then completely owned by Espeon's Psychic attack. Now, to go to Umbreon!
Fifth Round: I switch to Umbreon, and immediately attack with Bite. Espeon out-speeds me, and attacks with Swift. Minimal damage is done, and Bite shaves off what I would say is a bit more than 1/4 of Espeon's health. Lookin' good!
Sixth Round:Same as the Fifth Round.
Seventh Round: YAY! On this Round, I get a Critical Hit on Espeon, knocking it out with Bite attack. I'll keep Espeon in though, just to weaken whatever's next.
Eighth Round: Red sends out his Snorlax, expecting it to just sponge off my Special Attacks. What he doesn't know is that i have Toxic and Iron Tail! Let's do some damage, Umbreon! Toxic attack! . Snorlax gets Badly Poisoned, which I can use to my advantage. He uses Amnesia, which I don't have a problem with, since I've got no intention on hitting him from the Special side of the spectrum.
Ninth Round: Umbreon is completely owned by Snorlax, prompting me to send out Charizard. Things are looking bleak, until I realize that I taught Charizard DynamicPunch before entering Mt. Silver, getting rid of Dragonbreath! Now, just to pray for the hit...
Tenth Round: DYNAMICPUNCH HITS! Yes, yes, yes! And, even better than hitting, it hit for a Critical! So, Snorlax, it looks like you're in trouble now! You're Badly Poisoned, Confused, and you've got less than half your health. What are you gonna do?! For this turn, Snorlax used Body Slam, which ripped away half my health too. Sacrifices must be made, but Charizard is not one of them! Take off every Hyper Potion... for great justice!
Eleventh Round: Didn't help, because Snorlax got out of Confusion next turn anyways.
Twelfth Round: Charizard gives Snorlax a well deserved DynamicPunch and puts that poor bastard to rest. Now, I've just gotta deal with Blastoise, Venusaur, and Charizard... For some reason, that isn't as reassuring as I thought it would be.
Thirteenth Round: Red sends out Blastoise, and I chose to use DynamicPunch, since it's my only real option. It hits, and Confuses Blastoise! Blastoise still uses Surf, and kills Charizard.
Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Rounds: Blastoise Shield, Activate! I use Blastoise as a shield as I heal up Charizard and Kadabra.
A Few Rounds Later:
I'm just going to cover the rest of the battle in these next few paragraphs. Blastoise gets killed by Red's, so I send out Kadabra. Use ThunderPunch, and I do Critical damage! Kadabra is hit by Surf, which drops his health down into the Red. Use ThunderPunch once more, and kill that bastard turtle/tank! I use Kadabra's last moments to use a Max Revive on Blastoise, evening the playing field.
My Blastoise's Surf does a bit less than half damage. If Stealth Rock existed in Gen II, this would have been over before it began. Blastoise was out-sped though, and hit by a Wing Attack, which does minimal damage. Another Surf later, and Charizard is down for the count! Now, onto Venusaur.
This is it. The last of Red's Pokemon. Can I do this? I think I can! Blastoise uses Ice Punch to do as much damage as possible, and quickly. Venusaur is taking in energy though, so I know Blastoise is dead next turn. Charizard will sweep Venusaur away though.
Venusaur fires his lazar, and Blastoise cannot Shoop da Whoop. Damn. I knew I should have gotten the Koopa Brothers. Now THOSE are some turtles that know how to wreck ****!
Anyways, switch to Charizard, who is already at half health, due to me only having one Max Revive, and using it on Blastoise. Half health should be more than enough though... right? Please, be right!
Charizard out-speeds, and hits with a Flamethrower. Venusaur responds by....
SOLARBEAM CHARGING!
I'VE WON!
Red can't heal next turn, so I've won! I've beaten Red! Blue finally has his revenge!
Charizard attacks with Flamethrower, ending the game! That's it people! End of the show; game over. Blue has come out victorious over his old rival Red, and his soul can rest in peace now... wait, he's not dead?
Thanks. Yeah, it was pretty fast since I was focusing all my efforts on this Challenge. Next is my R/S/E Triospecies Challenge, then my HG/SS Mono-type Challenge (Normal-type). Hope to see you around.
Ok, update time. :D
Its been a while since I updated. So, here we go:
After battling Bugsy, I went to the charcoal man's house but I forgot that you need to go to Ilex Forest.
Traveled to Ilex Forest and quickly followed the Farfetch'd.
Got Cut from the Charcoal man, yay!
Captured a Paras and taught to him Cut, because Cut is lame.
Went through the easy Ilex Forest maze, and on the way I obtained TM02 Headbutt, yay!
Avoided every trainer on the route outside of Ilex Forest.
Arrived at Goldenrod City.
Went to the PokeCenter and healed.
Got a free bike at the bike shop. Gotta love free stuff!
Went to the Underground and smashed all trainers there. Bitten evolved in the process and now a full pledge trainer smasher with Confuse Ray + Bite combo. :D
Got out of the Underground and healed.
I was tired so I saved.

Its either real or its a dream, there's nothing that is inbetween, Twiiiiiliiiiiight
Quick question: I'm considering doing this, can I trade to get an item from a different game if that item is used to evolve a Pokemon that I would like to have evolved sooner rather than later??
Ex: I have a Poliwhirl and want to evolve it but I'd have to wait all the way till Kanto to get a water stone. Am I allowed to trade for a Pokemon holding a water stone, and then use the water stone on Poliwhirl?? Seems like a legit question.

I suppose, the rules say youre allowed to trade to make your pokemon evolve, which in this case seems logical.

Can I join it yet? If so, I chose Erika's pokémon! =D
Version: Pokémon Silver.
I'm using emulator.
Please?
Um, I think the Challenge is open to everyone. The OP has gone missing though, which isn't good for the topic. Someone should really take over for it... Sadly, I just don't have the will or drive to do so myself.
