ummm Neosporin? that stuff works wonders on scabs and cuts. apply it on and then a bandage and Bam!, scabs gone :D
I second this. It is another type of triple antibiotic oitment, but it does better than most of the others. Keep it bandaged also. You don't want anything else messing up your sister, like things getting under the scab causing more problems.

Out of the hundreds of health help sites out there, people still choose to inquire on a POKEMON FORUM. This is very depressing.
Who's to say he didn't seek out a health help site? It's natural to want to seek second-hand advice in an environment where one feels safe, it makes us feel connected in a small way. I for one am glad that there are people here willing to reach out in this manner.

How old is your sister? If she's quite young, it could be measles or chicken pox. If she says they feel very itchy, that's quite possibly it. Either way, the best thing is bedrest and make sure she doesn't scratch too much. If you're sure it's infected, then wash it with one of the antibiotic thing reccomended up there ^

hehe its called off topic discussions so technically we can post whatever we want as long as it follows the rules. if this is depressing to fellow admins then maybe we shouldn't have an off topic discussion i mean this is what its meant for, things that are off topic such as this.

If a few little spots appeared, it would seem likely that she is scratching the skin around it without realizing. And how are you sure it is infected, does the skin looks really red around the scab? Either way I would follow the other poster's advice, wash it then apply something like Neosporin and a bandage. Make sure the bandage covers the skin around the scab, so she can't scratch at the skin.
