Winter season is gone, and out comes spring. I found out that most people are anticipating this year's spring season due to K-On!!, Black Rock Shooter and the long awaited sequel of Ookiku Furikabutte. Seriously, I couldn't find this thread anywhere, so sorry in advance.

This season, I think, has more numbers of anime line-up than winters. Currently, I'm torn whether to watch Arakawa under the Bridge. To watch or not to watch? I'm worried of SHAFT trolling it with the animation. The blogs I've read so far was impressed due to Maaya Sakamoto. Personally, I'm getting tired of Kamiya Hiroshi voicing every character I watch. It's like Yui Horie's invasion in last year's season (I forgot which) except worser, since he uses the same Araragi voice. ;;. Never heard her voice except on songs, so yeah. Also, I'm most anticipating for this season is not K-On S2 but instead Working!! The broadcast was funny as heel, plus Eri Kitamura and Saki Fujitaand unfortunately (?) Kamiya Hiroshi.

Meh, anyways, this is the discussion of the whole spring animes at total. Which anime impressed you so far? What are you gonna watch? Which anime have disappointed you so far? and which anime are you currently hooked up?

Well, you sure wont find it this season. Just watched in B Gata H Kei and made me realized that this will be the fan-service season. Even Maid-sama is full of maid moe-ness. Still entertaining though. You should just look forward to next season.

Exhibit A:
Lol @ the promo (of B Gata H Kei). Can't understand japanese but I heard the word ecchi 6 times in 15 seconds. I look forward to this.

I'm not sure if I should watch Arakawa under the Bridge either. It seems like a nice plot but… yeah. I might watch the first episode later just to see what it's like.

Which anime impressed you so far?
In all honesty, none of them have really impressed me that much so far, but I guess HEROMAN was a nice surprise. Good animation and nice characters (though when I first seen Joey I was seriously wondering if he was a girl or a boy).

What are you gonna watch?
I'm already watching Angel Beats! and HEROMAN but I'll be watching K-ON!! and Black★Rock Shooter too. Watching K-ON!! since I watched the first season and I may as well watch the second season. Watching B★RS because I loved the B★RS song and it looks nice so far. And as I said before, I might watch Arakawa under the Bridge or I might not.

Which anime have disappointed you so far?
Probably Angel Beats! though I wasn't as disappointed as most people were with the first episode. The animation and art were nice, but the jokes were terrible. I found the pacing to be a bit off as well. But it's got potential to be a good anime so let's just see how the other episodes do.

Which anime are you currently hooked up?
As of now, none have really made me go, "omg wow !!" but maybe that'll change in the future.

Angel Beats: watch until episode 3 to decide whether to cut it or not.
Arakawa: missed episode 1, will catch up later. I got bored of the manga around volume 4.
Daimao: fills the needs for mindless fanservice. Will watch, but won't mind if I miss a few episodes.
Heroman: simple and elegant. Airing time may clash with university courses though.
Nightraid: episode one bored me to heck, more so than Soraoto, but will still watch until episode three to make my mind up.
Working!: like the manga, not too sure about the anime.

K-on: tonight. Like, in 10 more minutes. Opening finished, I like it more than season 1.
Finished episode one - they drank tea and ate cake. Seems much like first season, meaning I'll get bored half way through.

I already have Arakawa and Maid-sama on my plan to watch list.
But it might be a while before I get around to starting them.
/Has 9 shows on his currently watching list. :x

I keep forgetting to add Black Rock Shooter to my Plan to watch list but it's something I'm definitely going to look into and have high expectations for.

Other than that I haven't really looked into watching anything else but I do plan on having a nice spring line-up. :D

I was pretty happy with Angel Beats ep1 and the prequel chapter I read. I'll probably continue watching it.

I'll give K-ON!! and BRS a chance. I need something laid back to watch, and K-ON!! should fit that pretty well. BRS I'll watch because I really have no idea if it's going to be good or bad. I might give Mayoi Neko Overrun! a shot, too, but based on the preview, I'm not sure I'll like it.

I watched the first episode of Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, but didn't really like it. I'll be dropping it if it doesn't improve soon.

I won't be watching HEROMAN, B Gata H Kei, or Kiss x Sis. None of them really suit my tastes.

I'll watch the Eden of the East 2nd movie when it gets subbed, and I'll watch the xxxHolic OVA eventually.

I held my expectations rather high after winter 2009's anime, which I know was a huge mistake, especially considering all the crap the rest of 2009 came up with. I honestly have not seen a single good series out of this season thus far. At the moment, I still want to watch Arakawa, simply because of SHAFT. I have yet to see the first episode, and I know Vampire Bund wasn't very good. At all. But SHAFT is pretty.
I was holding my expectations much too high for KEY's newest anime, and I was only left in utter disappointment. Angel Beats has the cheapest animation I've seen from a new series. Heroman was decent compared to Angel Beats. Almost bearable in most aspects, though the story is cheesy (thugh probably on purpose) and a bit too Westernized for my taste. K-ON S2 is well... We'll see. I honestly wouldn't expect it to take off. Seems pretty uneventful thus far, though that's pretty much the pattern of such moeblob slice of life anime.

And the staff for BlackRock is looking pretty good. Only a 50 minute OVA though, so it's hardly enough to save spring 2010. After watching the Touhou Doujin OVA, I honestly wouldn't be expecting too much of a story here though. I'll just sit back and watch the pretty pictures.

I forgot to add that I'm actually watching B Gata H Kei and Angel Beats!
And they both seem pretty interesting in their own way and I'll probably watch both of them right through. :x

I watched the Kiss X Sis OVAs (Don't look at me like that. XD) I kinda enjoyed them but I don't think that's enough to make me want to watch the TV series. :/

Recently started Higashi No Eden and I'm really enjoying so I'll possibly watch the movies when I've finished with the TV series. :D

Definitely on Angel Beats if not for my Key fandom, also proving once again that I seem to be the only one who doesn't need the animation to be done by KyoAni super amazing to be satisfied with it (and that nitpicking causes some people to hate certain anime)

Arakawa under the Bridge seemed interesting at skim glance, I'll hold onto that one for at least another ep or 2
Heroman was amusing, I'm probably gonna be watching that for a while.
Katagatari Episode 4: Hakutou Hari - Looking forward to this, the preview was awesome
Daimaou - Hurray for combat comedies, that first ep was amusing XD
Lipri - Adorable Mahou Shoujo (Trio) , may be holding onto this for a bit more

Koihime, KissxSis are more along the lines of cheesy fanservice, so probably whenever i happen to notice them on the lists

Overrun and K-On!(!) are yet to be decided

I have given a response to Heroman, Angel Beats!, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama already here, but I'll go over them a bit again, I suppose.

Angel Beats! wasn't as jaw-droppingly awesome as I was anticipating, but it wasn't bad enough for me to not want to stick through it a bit further. I can't say I like the slapstick humor in this one, and it needs more drama for a plot as conflict-oriented as this one. I don't know why there are as many complaints about the animation as there are; I enjoyed that part of the show.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama...meh, not really made an impression on me so far.

Heroman was the surprise for me this season. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would for a show with a premise as simplistic (and rather cliched) as this. Still, girly guy main hero = huge turnoff. I hope he gets better...though knowing the American children show's legacy, I doubt it.

Hetalia World Series started out nicely, and it's not really anything different from the first season (not even the OP and ED changed much at all, even retaining the same songs). Still lulzy, though.

Might check out Arakawa Under the Bridge once it's done to see if the reviews are good. RAINBOW, Ironman, and Hakouji all appear to be they're worth a try, though none of them seem too awe inspiring from the first glance. I'm honestly hoping for a nice surprise at this point.

I honestly don't think why people are disappointed with Angel Beats. Is KEY really that awesome? I didn't know since I dont watch CLANNAD and other stuff made by him. Though, I thought it was a battle anime, not some slice of life thing.

B gata H Kei was hilarious! Dropping the ecchi bomb at the full potential, Here we have the reverse. Very perveted girl as main lead. Going to watch.

Ichiban Ushiro, I thought, was an ecchi anime, like Maburaho and Magikano. Never thought it could be a potential story anime. Definitely watching.

That's all I've watched so far. I never watched the first ep of the second season of K-On, but the Op was... high pitched chipmunked Aki Toyosaki. As if her voice needs to get higher... The Ed was starting to grow on me, i love Yoko Hikasa singing.

I'm also planning to watch Kiss x Sis. It's more visual ecchi than B gata H kei, which is more on jokes. Watched the first episode of the ova and got a big surprise (2 actually) for the first 8 minutes. Definitely watching. The op is also catchy.

Heroman, I skipped on last last season's Fairy Tail for shounen, actually, I dropped it thanks to Aya Hirano, but nethertheless, I'm keeping tabs on this one.

I decided not to watch Arakawa under the Bridge, but I'll be following it though. (read a few pages of the manga, not saying I'm impressed.) Maaya Sakamoto sounds like Chiwa Saitou, only deeper. Is Shaft trying to make the main heroine epic? Well, she needs to have a good hero, and I don't think Kamiya Hiroshi is up for it.

Oh, yeah. Watched Working. Favorite anime of the season. Maid sama, as I said before, reminds me of skip beat, but since it is broadcasted herefor free, im watching it. I'm also gonna watch BRS, never went listened to the whole song (I might, maybe) but I want to atleast watch some epic fighting. xxxHolic OVA is watchingg too. Even though I knew what happened.

You're not alone, a lot of people like Angel Beats, myself included. Sure, there may have been a few glitches in the animation (nothing that a reasonable person would even notice), but that's hardly a reason to hate a series that hasn't even been aired past the first episode.

Let's see...

Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! - I hope they retain things from the manga. Currently I'm satisfied with episode 1.

K-ON! Season 2 - It took me 4 replays to be able to enjoy the new opening, but I really still have some doubts on the melody, and I definetely love cagayake!GIRLS better. It's still a good opening.
The ending is addicting just listening for the first-time though, and I love it. (The animation was lovely too.)

Black★Rock Shooter (OVA) - Goodness, when does this air? D: When it comes out, I must watch it ~

Hetalia: Axis Powers: Oresama Nikki (OAD) - The main character *is probably/must be* Prussia/Gilbert. I'll watch it as he's one of my fave characters. : D

Probably what I'm gonna watch for the spring season, along with a few reruns (because rewatching anime is fun). Oh, and probably going to watch more Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episodes as they come out.

Though what's Angel Beats about? owo It seems to be a popular thing, but I haven't read (in case it was a manga) anything about it.

Not very far in the series I plan to watch, but...

Which anime impressed you so far?

Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama was a thousand times better than I expected. The art style and those hideous green blazers are still iffy with me, but they kept to the story incredibly well and Usui was hilarious. And it's not like in Special A where they totally ruined Kei's image with the pukish animation. Though it's the first two episodes, so I'm nervous for my lovely Usui. I'll probably keep watching at least until my favorite bespectacled character shows up though, because I'm a sucker for my meganes.

What are you gonna watch?
Planning on HEROMAN, getting ready for Working!! as I type, and probably will watch K-ON first season just so I can watch the second season. B★RS is for sure- I'm super psyched and I'm feeling a 90% chance of being let down, but I don't really care. I'm pumped. As for when I'm going to get all this time...

Which anime have disappointed you so far?
I'll get back to you on this. xD Though Hakuouki was kind of =3= I wasn't expecting much from it in the first place other than my seasonal bishounen fix. (And boy did I get my seasonal bishounen fix.)

Which anime are you currently hooked up?

(What does that question even mean? I only figured it out because of other people's answers...)

I'm not too into any of the series. (Contrary to what one might expect due to the update of my set. I just happened to find a seriously beautiful vector of someone from Hakuouki, okay? I swear! He's not even my favorite character!) I'm definitely keeping up with Maid and Hakuouki though.
