Oh god no. I'm not into any of that Otaku stuff. I find it very irriating.

I say cute, and cute is my friends kitten sneezing.

You my good sir, are now one of my favourite people. One, because I agree with you 100%, and two, you just told someone to get back into the kitchen and make you a sandwich.

I don't think I've ever used the word kawaii. I'm not really interested in Japan that much, and I prefer not to use multiple languages in one sentence. Unless I'm trying to speak in another language and I have no clue what the word for something is in that language. Not that I use the word cute much anyways.

Usually I use the word cute when I talk about cute dead politicians. Or kittens. So I guess that's my definition of cute. xD

I would never say that word. I am not Japanese, and I do not like inserting random Japanese words in my sentences.

In fact, to be honest, it annoys me when people do that.

I've never said kawaii. I say cute :) kawaii is too, eh, annoying. Way too many people say it.
When talking to people, I tend to call them things like "Sug(Shug)" or "Hon" or even "Dearie." You get the point. Some think of it as condescending, and it isn't intended in that way. If it offends you, tell me, and I will try my best not too.

I barely say "cute", never kawaii. Makes you look so weeaboo it's not funny. Seriously, the only people I know that say kawaii at all are...uhm, weeaboos. Even the Japanese people I know don't say it. @[email protected]

Why would I randomly insert a Japanese word in an English sentence? It makes you seem more ignorant in my opinion. Why do that? My sister already tries to sound cool calling me a baka. Newflash, biggot. I know what a baka is. Go back to your room, lock your door, and snuggle up to your My Japanese Coach and create a sentence with the word. Then you have some right entitled to you for its use.

What do I think is cute? Boys, Pokemon following you on HGSS, plushies, ridiculous looking sprites...boys. -cough-

When I say 'cute' it's usually with the implication that the object in question is helpless or vulnerable. When I say 'adorable' I'm implying that I'm inclined to feel affection towards or find the object, well.. adorable.

And 'kawaii'? My only response to any use of that word outside of the mouth of a fluent Japanese speaker is "Heck no."
But then again, I've probably just heard it being said a hundred times too often.

No, but I use cute to describe a lot of things. Although I don't even know the exact meaning of "Kawaii", though I've heard a few people use it on the internet.

I can't stand when people use words from other languages in English sentences, it just sounds weird and out of place. Why use a different word when we already have a perfectly good word for it in English (or whatever else you speak)? And even though I know how to pronounce it, I still always read it like "Hawaii."

I hated it when i was in New Zealand and America, I would hear these girls say "Kawaii" on the streets and i thought that they could speak Japanese, i was sadly mistaken when i went to talk to them (in Japanese) and they called me a "****", Im not Vietnamese! why can't they use cute? its in their own language anyway! (sorry to rant)

I say cute. I don't speak Japanese; I don't see a need to insert a random Japanese word into my vocabulary. That's not to mention that I honestly don't really like the word kawaii anyway.

I might've, back in the day, when I was a noob on the Internet. To describe Ash. I like to forget those days. DDD:

As for what cute is to me, it's stuff that... looks... adorable... I guess? :( It's not something I can really describe that well.

If I ever used the word 'Kawaii', it was when I was several years younger (maybe when I first used the word), because I don't remember the last time I used it. I've used 'Nani' and 'Hai' in the past as well, but eventually it just became weird and so I stopped that as well.

Now I speak pure english, with the only word around here in another language I would say being 'Adios', because I'm Hispanic as well.

And... I think a lot of things are cute. You'll probably hear me call something cute at least once or twice a day. -couchredcouch- And when things are even more than use, I'll use the word adorable.

Just a little insight on the word: It's only used by weaboos and young girls (ages 12 and under) in Japan. It's not a commonplace word I don't believe. I'm currently looking for the source that I had read two years ago and how I got this info, I'll edit if I can find it.

So no, I don't use the word. Cute works just fine, and I rarely even use that.
