I was talking with my friend RolePlay, and he was telling me how he thought the Dark Knight was a terrible movie. I completely disagree, and thought it was a brilliant piece of art. What's your opinion?

I'm probably the only one along with your friend, but I didn't like it either. That's not to say I thought it was terrible. I just thought it was an 'okay' movie.

It's really hard for me to put into words, but I guess overall I just found it to be boring. The only character in the whole move that I liked was the Joker since I personally think Heath Ledger did a wonderful job portraying him. Christian Bale as Batman seemed weak though. I had trouble visualizing him as the hero. I also can't stand Maggie Gyllenhaal so that was a big factor as to why I didn't enjoy the movie. My other thought is I could of went into the theater with too much hype. So it's possible that I was over excited for it and when it didn't meet my expectations I tossed it to the side.

It's just my opinion though. So, please don't freak out and attack me just for having a different view.

Why would I jump you for your opinion? Ha.

I personally thought Bale was a good Wayne. I didn't really like his Batman voice, though it sort of grew on me. I also thought it was pretty interesting. I liked all of the different plot lines and how they all intertwined while remaining sensible, unlike Spider-Man 3. All of the witty and brilliant lines kept those slow scenes entertaining.

Well I mean anyone just not you. I always feel like I have to put up that disclaimer when I'm dealing with things that everyone likes and I don't. :)

That Batman voice was sort of what I was trying to get at. I personally thought it sounded really dumb. I mean I understand he was trying to conceal his voice, but it just bothered me.
