It's only natural to adore avatars and change it from time-to-time. Although Photobucket and other sites are great resources to find avatars, I've created this thread as to combine everyone's knowledge of avatars together, and all great sites together, too!
Rules
- You may link to an album or page containing multiple avatars, or post the IMG of the image itself in your posts. If the site doesn't want you to direct-link, a link to the page itself and not the image would be more appropriate.
- Don't be broad! Posting "Use Photobucket" or "Google" is not permitted! You must post to the person's actual album, and not just a broad search.
- You may post avatars not created by you, but give credit where credit is due. If you didn't make it and don't know who did, simply post "Credit goes to the artist / company (not me)".
- Avatars should be 60x60-100x100 - any bigger is not considered an "avatar". The avatar should be a square and not a rectangle.
- If you know the anime or character's name, do say! That way, people interested in finding more avatars of that specific character won't have a hard time doing so.
- Nothing suggestive in the drawing or in writing. PG material, please.
- Only post avatars that are done well; blurrs, pixelated, etc. are not appropriate.
- You may not post your PC thread here, unless it contains at least fifty avatars in the topic itself that abide by the 60-100x60-100 pixel rule. We're looking for exterior sites here, unless your thread contributes a lot to the avatar-seeking population.
- Do not link to other forums! Only websites and albums are permitted. If you find a thread in another forum that offers avatar-creation services, you must not link to it. Instead, link to the images there, or upload them to a Photobucket / Imageshack / Tinypic account and post them here.
- If places required registration, please say that somewhere in your reply. Also, provide Photobucket and other similar passwords for access to see avatars, or remove the password altogether.
- If you want to post animated avatars, use a spoiler. GIFs are sometimes difficult to load in mass.
- Some basic sites to find images would be Photobucket, Google, and LiveJournal.
