Oh, there is where you went.

The sprites look as good as they always have, and the backsprites look great! (Some even better then the sprite themself).

Coralmae and Moraceal look way too smooshed, though.

Yes Samson you are back!
Your sprites are amazing and I'm using them in my hack.
Where's the older sprite pack?
His old thread is right here.

i have to be honest about Titaneon... i experimented with different looks and it just didn't work for an eeveelution. an eeveelution with a scythe tail and metal parts? nah.

i finally came upon the idea that instead of it being a psuedo-robot, it can be a pokemon with a mirror-like coat (mirror shot and flash cannon... hmm maybe even doom desire!) and steel ends that give it some other function. for instance, the ears and tail can be used as ventilation (sonicboom and supersonic) and this way it won't seem super strange when it uses attacks like signal beam.

but yeah, i'm glad with the way Titaneon came out!

Wow! This makes me feel horrible. YOur sprites are fantastic and looking at them, I can tell you've improved. My favourite is Wogspur though it need to be facing more left for a Pokemon sprite.

Even some of the sprites made by Game Freak face left sometimes, so it's not really that much of a problem. :P

Anyway, Samson, I've always loved your sprites. Frondit looks a bit weird, but it's sprited well. I just don't like the concept. :P Some of the teasers have quite dark outlines, but I'm again assuming there not fully finished yet, so it's not really a problem. but again, Samson, you make some of the best Fakemon on this forum! :D

psshh, you guys need to soo stop haytin on Frondit! he's a qt <3

first post = UPDATED!!

amorswan... what happened to your neck?

one thing that i messed up on the previous back-sprite for amorswan was that her neck was waaay too short. in the front-sprite, her neck is bended so it looks smaller in length. so yeah, i had to fix that!

and yes, i've always had a problem with dark outlines. i often forget what the sprites will look like in the game... most likely because i haven't played a pokemon game in AGES!!

yes, Quarrawl's drill looks a bit strange as a pokemon but the idea behind it is that it's supposed to look like a welded drill bit when Quarrawl isn't so happy with its mouth open =D

i didn't want to have both Birdawl and its evo to have that plain "horn drill" look on them. i actually wanted Quarrawl's beak to function as both a beak and a drill without putting too much detail into the sprite work.

anywho... first post is updated!

i don't care what you say, dinol is a super qt <3

bumpety bump!

more fighting lines... poor jawnks =(

see that's why jawnks needs a truly awesome movepool and ability to get through his weak dual typing... what shall it be?

give me some suggestions folks!

lump de bump =o

chirpich line completely redid!

i'm not too happy with how plumoon came out to be honest. it is definitely the hardest concept i've had to sprite. trying to keep that pokemon simplicity to the peacock feathers while not making them seem cheap and pathetic is very very challenging. i tried so many different looks, played with the shading and i just decided to go with this.

until i come up with a better look, the backsprite is good looking and good to go so that i can always just change the front without having to adjust the back view.

I don't see what's bad about Plumoon's sprite except that the center tail feather looks like it's turned to the right instead of the left. If there was anything in that line that needs more work I'd say it's Chirpich's back sprite since the head looks too large. I can't tell if it's just that the sprite is so much larger than the front sprite or if the proportions are off, but the ratio in size between the head and the eye feels like too much.

Unrelated, but I'm curious where you come up with your color palettes. They're a little on the muted side.
