*Note: This isn't a story, this is a topic about a story. I didn't know where else to put it.... :surprised *

Several years back Stephen Huxman aka Huxmonchan wrote Hitmonchan's Diary, an extremely popular Pokemon fanfic, and then began a sequel, Onix's Diary.

"Hitmonchan's Diary" involves the interactions of trainers, most notably Stephen Huxman and his Hitmonchan, as relating to the plots of Team Rocket, Team Phantom, and "Xynj". The story isn't a literary masterpiece, but it's the most well-told, versatile and engaging piece of Pokemon fiction I've ever chanced upon....

Around 2000 Stephen wrapped it up (30 episodes) and started "Onix's Garden", but then Tyais's Pokegym shut down and I never knew what happened to it. I have the prelude and episodes 1-5 and 7 on my computer, but would very much welcome any additions!

I hope this is an acceptable topic; I'm new to the community, but this is a very lively forum and I'd hoped that someone might have knowledge of this classic fanfic.

... anything involving a Hitmonchan sounds intriguing... darn... I thought I was the only person to make a deep story about a Hitmonchan :/
I just took a look at your story--didn't read the entire thing (someday I'll start into it), but I can immediately discern that yours is very well written, far more so than Stephen's, which wasn't written so much as a literary piece as it was a fast-paced, high-action/high-dialogue. Stephen Huxman decided to characterize (characterize, verb: turn into fanfic characters ;)) he and his Pokemon TCG fellows on a whim. He chose Hitmonchan because it was his favorite card. It's a story with action, comedy, friendship, romance, betrayal, intrigue, but above all speed and originality. Characters were defined through dialogue and verbs.

I wish I could link to it, but I don't know if that's allowed.... Sometime I'm planning on starting back up a site, and I hope to put it up there when I do. If you Google "Stephen Huxman", there's a FortuneCity site with the first ten chapters (which are rather light-hearted). :P
