After the tough start, this Sapphire run has become quite promising.
Spoiler:

First, I did some grinding in Granite Cave. It didn't even take that long.

Then, I murdered the Winstrate family with mainly Hermolaos (Gloom). Easily.

No problems with Wally, but his Ralts did survive one Fury Cutter, I should have kept Leech Life...

TIME FOR WATTSON, for me the most dreaded of all gym leaders. Yes, even after my almost-wipe against Norman in Ruby that lead to my defeat. Then again, my old team didn't have a Surfer as well.

This thing was no problem, Hermolaos (Gloom) and Mauro (Loudred) took care of it.

Voltorb was actually quite annoying, it got a lot of stupid parahaxes. Thankfully its attack stat is weak so Hermolaos (Gloom) survived the Selfdestruct easily.
Time for Magneton.

Phase #1 of my plan to bring down Magneton: prevent it from bothering me with Sonicboom by spamming Flash.

Phase #2 of the plan: spam Fake Tears (I leveled Dareia (Plusle) to level 28 for no other reason than that) and then Spark. It worked. And how!

How my team looked after the battle. Having everyone surive was certainly worth all the Superpotions (about 4, I think; all on Hermolaos (Gloom) who did most of the work) this took.

Team:
Spoiler:

:t291: Jimmie, level 24 - Fury Swipes, Screech, Fury Cutter, Double Team
:t294: Mauro, level 25 - Pound, Uproar, Astonish, Howl
:t311: Dareia, level 28 - Spark, Thunder Wave, Quick Attack, Fake Tears
:t044: Hermolaos, level 27 - Absorb, Sleep Powder, Acid, Flash

Hell:
Spoiler:

:t266: Wilmer, level 4-8 - Somehow died against a wild Zigzagoon while grinding near Oldale
:t252: Aravind, level 5-15 - died from a Wurmple's poison in Rustboro right outside the Pokemon center

The only bad thing is that I will have to teach Mauro (Loudred) Rock Smash, dammit.

I caught a Seadra (Queendra) and a Zangoose (Zena) but during Geovanni Spoon and Pyra died to Jynx D: I used my Highest lvled Resort Moemon Vena (Venomoth) and Gemeni (Doduo) I grinded my Mons to Lvl 45 and barely took down Geovanni (No deathes though) I also grinded to lvl 48 to take down Sabrina and/or Koga.

Team
Spoiler:
Lvl 35 (Antikip) (Leaf Blade,Poison Powder,Cut,Sleep Powder) Moveset didn't change but it doesn't need to.
Lvl 36 (Shaft) (Dig,Magnitude,Rock Slide,Slash) After Pyra's and Spoon's Death this is my new Powerhouse.
Lvl 35 (Antikip) (Leaf Blade,Poison Powder,Cut,Sleep Powder) After Nara's Death this thing took over as my Water Killer.
Lvl 36 (Shaft) (Dig,Magnitude,Rock Slide,Fury Swipes) Any thing that apposes Threat to Pyra and Spoon (Rock and Electric) or Antikip (Fire or Flying) this thing takes out nicely.
Lvl 48 (Antikip) (Leaf Blade,Poison Powder,Cut,Sleep Powder) After Nara's Death this thing took over as my Water Killer.
Lvl 48 (Shaft) (Dig,Magnitude,Rock Slide,Fury Swipes) Any thing that apposes Threat to Pyra and Spoon (Rock and Electric) or Antikip (Fire or Flying) this thing takes out nicely.
Lvl 48 (Queendra) (Surf,Twister,Agility,Smokescreen) Surfer really not to special now but later when it gets a proper move set it will be a Godess
Lvl 48 (Gemeni) (Drill Peck,Fly,Tri Attack,Uproar) Not really to great its fast and just about it.
Lvl 48 (Zena) (Slash,Crush Claw,Pursuit,Brick Break) like Shaft it is a Beatdown Monster <3
Lvl 48 (Vena) (Psybeam,Stun Spore,Sleep Powder,Silver Wind) My Status inflict + My Koga Killer.

So, I stopped after beating Wattson with relative ease, so...
Spoiler:

...the first thing I had to do was teaching Mauro (Loudred) Rock Smash. Ugh. How much I hate that HM.
So after getting the Strength HM, I smashed the rocks north of Mauville in order to move northwards, and...

Well, dammit, I would have preferred to get something from the desert later on.

But I caught it anyways. A Geodude certainly has its advantages, for example Flannery and Norman suddenly don't look that scary anymore.

The next route I got again a Numel. I cannot complain.

So, I entered Fiery Path, and...

YES

Oh, this is awesome, I love having bulky poison types in Nuzlocke runs.

New route, new Pokemon. Or not, I got the same in my Ruby run. And there my Spinda at least was Adamant...

A Spinda is a better Pokemon than no Pokemon though, I have to admit that.

Yet another route, and I got wanted to get on the earliest routes where I got Wurmplebombed instead.

Hm, that's already 2 Stone evolutions now. I'll have to look up on Bulbapedia how to get Stones in Hoenn...

Team:
Spoiler:

:t291: Jimmie, level 26 - Fury Swipes, Swords Dance, Fury Cutter, Double Team
:t294: Mauro, level 27 - Pound, Rock Smash, Astonish, Howl
:t311: Dareia, level 29 - Spark, Thunder Wave, Quick Attack, Fake Tears
:t044: Hermolaos, level 28 - Absorb, Sleep Powder, Acid, Flash

:t074: Colum, level 15 - Tackle, Defense Curl, Mud Sport, Rock Throw
:t322: Aingeal, level 14 - Growl, Tackle, Ember

Box:
Spoiler:

:t088: Katida, level 16 - Pound, Harden, Disable, Sludge
:t327: Yechiel, level 15 - Tackle, Uproar, Faint Attack
:t270: Shareef, level 16 - Astonish, Growl, Absorb, Nature Power

Dead:
Spoiler:

:t266: Wilmer, level 4-8 - Somehow died against a wild Zigzagoon while grinding near Oldale
:t252: Aravind, level 5-15 - died from a Wurmple's poison in Rustboro right outside the Pokemon center

I have decided to play this in Hale style, meaning keeping a good number of Pokemon at a decent level and always using the most appropriate ones, so it's time for some heavy grinding now. At least I'm not having a dead weight like Wobbuffet (seriously, grinding that thing without Exp.Share is HELL. But since it's such an awesome bosskiller, that is a necessary evil) around this time. Yet.
TL;DR: BRB GRINDAN FOREVER

-----

Actually grinding didn't take that long, so here's already the next update:
Spoiler:

Level 25 seemed like a good level to grind to, and this is one of my reasons.

This is why grinding didn't take long: I had some bad luck. This here was a critical Poison Tail. I'm really not the right person to give a Numel to, mine always die...

More evolution, but...

then this. Again, a crit. With a couple of Growls, each hit did maybe 3 damage, then suddenly crit Uproar at half HP and Lombre was dead. Dammit.

Meteor Falls.

I caught the Zubat...

...and lost it again, accursed back luck.
Anyways, I moved along in the plot and...

..found out I was up against Team Aqua and not Team Magma. A pleasant surprise, since Sharpedo as far easier to deal with than Camerupt. Well, it almost killed Dareia (Plusle) with Crunch, but then died in one hit.
So, after the battle, I go south and...

AWESOME.

This thing is GREAT so far. Tons and tons of special defense, but still able to take physical hits and doing nice damage with Psybeam. Too bad the Elite 4 is so anti-Psychic in this generation...

I also got this.

But, what is more important, I challenged Flannery. Yes, the one who just killed two of my three most established teammembers in Ruby with ease.

One.

Two.

Three.
Gotta love Gravelers: Extremely situational, but beasts when you can actually use them.

And the Pokemon situation, note that Team and Box are somewhat overlapping since I'm rotating.

Team:
Spoiler:

:t294: Mauro, level 29 - Stomp, Rock Smash, Astonish, Howl
:t311: Dareia, level 30 - Spark, Thunder Wave, Quick Attack, Fake Tears

:t075: Colum, level 29 - Rollout, Defense Curl, Magnitude, Rock Throw
Spoiler:
:t088: Katida, level 27 - Pound, Screech, Minimize, Sludge
:t327: Yechiel, level 25 - Strength, Psybeam, Faint Attack, Hypnosis
:325: Tvrquil, level 28 - Psywave, Confuse Ray, Psybeam, Magic Coat

Box:
Spoiler:

Spoiler:
:t291: Jimmie, level 27 - Fury Swipes, Swords Dance, Fury Cutter, Double Team
:t044: Hermolaos, level 30 - Absorb, Sleep Powder, Acid, Flash
:t360: Egg

Dead:
Spoiler:

:t266: Wilmer, level 4-8 - Somehow died against a wild Zigzagoon while grinding near Oldale
:t252: Aravind, level 5-15 - died from a Wurmple's poison in Rustboro right outside the Pokemon center
Spoiler:

:t322: Aingeal, level 14-16 - grinding death caused by a Seviper's crit Poison Tail
:271: Shareef, level 16-19 - grinding death caused by a Spinda's crit Uproar
:t041: Roman, level 16-16 - grinding death against a Lombre, already in its second battle

I really have to grind more carefully and switch out when a crit could kill my Pokemon.

I know. What I was wanting to say was just that Wobby is almost impossible to grind alone.

Mondays Suck what are you doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????
USE THAT NUMEL, IT IS A HUGE HELP TO NUZLOCKERS
I know, people take them to the Elite 4 all the time. So I tried to use a Numel. Twice. And failed. Twice.

Also, update.
Spoiler:

I chose Anorith this time, hoping to beat Norman with Protect at level 31.

However, this was not to happen. Damned Sevipers. Couldn't do anything because of Wrap.

Anyways, time for Norman. Time to get my revenge.

This thing was annoying, with Faint Attack always doing pretty much exactly 1/3 damage. So, I had the choice: Stay in against the second Slaking and risk getting killed by Faint Attack or switch?

I decided to stay because I doubt anything else on my team could take on this damned thing, and I was rewarded. It tried Focus Punch and Rollout was an OHKO.

Here, I did a terrible mistake. Instead of just staying in, taking the weaker Faint Attack and Rollouting this thing, I switched to my second best physically defensive Pokemon, Hermolaos the Gloom. So I tried to put it asleep and found out it had Vital Spirit. Great. So I tried to spam Flash. Missed twice. Used a Super Potion or two. Crit Facade. FFFFFFFFF- You will pay for this Norman, and how you will pay.

Holy Crap, that was close. Here I finally realized it would be best to go back to Colum (Graveler), so that's what I did.

Finally it dies.

So I beat Norman. But at what cost?

Team:
Spoiler:

:t041: Roman, level 16-16 - grinding death against a Lombre, already in its second battle
:t347: Nanda, level 20-23 - grinding death against a Seviper because of Wrap
:t044: Hermolaos, level 13-30 - killed by a crit Facade from Norman's Vigoroth

Yet another update:
Spoiler:

Alright, so once again, nothing can learn Surf.

But this time, I was prepared for this situation, and I got...

...a Goldeen? Quite surprising.

I named her Salvatri

And I somehow got here without any encounters on the sea and got the Good Rod...

...and an Electrike.

It already knows Spark, so it will be useful.

In New Mauville, I get...a Voltorb. Damn.

At least it didn't Selfdestruct.

South of Slateport, I use the Good Rod for the first time and get a Magikarp. Now, I'm a fan of Magikarps, but I would have expected to get this with the Old rod and Goldeen with the Good Rod, not the other way around.

I'm not sure if I should keep it a Magikarp until level 30 and get Flail or just evolve.

North of Rustboro, I find a Wailmer. Which then proceeds to...

EAT A TON OF POKEBALLS AND KILL TWO OF MY POKEMON. AAAARGH.

To hell with you, Wailmer.

... I just should have killed it or flee when it was clear that a Rollout would kill me.

Grinding time. 33 sounds good to me, to evolve Salvatri into Seaking and I think Jimmie (Ninjask) should learn Slash around that time.

560cool.

Well, along my Blue, add SoulSilver too. Kthx.

BLUE UPDATE :

I am about to challenge Misty. Had a hard time vs. Brock because of type disadvantages, so overgrinded Bamf and Charking to Lv. 16 so that they can evolve. I caught a Spearow which later evolved into Pwning Fearow. He's named D. Peck.

Team :

D. Peck

Charking

Bamf

Yea, I picked up the Water Gun TM since every Hiker owned me. xD

Fangs (Totodile) m Lv. 12 : Water Gun, Scratch, Leer, Rage.
Leafy (Bellsprout) m Lv. 13 @ Miracle Seed : Vine Whip, Growth, Flash (filler), Sleep Powder.
Egg (Togepi) : "It appears to move occasionally. It may be close to hatching."

Yeah, picture-less. Too lazy. :P
Boxed a Zubat. Nothing interesting.
Well, okay. I'm here just to chat with people. Don't really care about signatures and stuff.

Spoiler:

So, grinding... I started with Luitgard (Voltorb), and it looked promising, but then this.

Overleveled Tentas continued to ruin my life. This battle must have contained the most failures to run I ever had in a battle that wasn't against a Golbat.

Things did however get better from then on.

Then, I cleared out the Dewford area, and got 3 Wailmers, 2 Magikarps and 1 Tentacool down there (Screenshots of the whole thing exist, but are confusing). Dammit, I wanted a Carvanha. Well, at least it got me an Ice Beam TM and some Exp.

Spoiler:

So, the first thing I did was going to the next route and getting...

an Oddish

Which is actually an Oddish without Grass attacks and thus far inferior to Hermolaos (RIP)

Some grinding followed. I left the Gyaras at level 20 though, for now.

And I moved on in the plot. Salvatri (Seaking) easily took care of Team Aqua.

I also got this. Not sure what to think about.

May was easy, not even the Shroomish caused any trouble.
So, wasn't the route east of Fortree the one where you can get Absols, those things that can learn Perish Song...?

Maybe it is, but not for me.

Ah well, I caught it anyways. Zigzagoon does certainly have its uses.

Time for Winona. Her first two Pokemon went down easily, but then...

AAAAH EARTHQUAKE. First my Rock Throw misses TWICE while it DDs, and then this. So I switch to something else than can take a hit and...

Suddenly critial Aerial Ace when I thought Salvatri (Seaking) could wall and kill this thing. NOOOO

Tvrquil saves the team though.

Die in a fire.

So I was thinking "there is nothing wrong with having a Pickupper in the team", so that's what I did.

The next route gave me a Wingull. Useless. I wanted a Shuppet.

And I arrived at Lilycove and did this. I also caught 2 more Magikarps in the area. And yes, that was with the Good Rod. Safari Zone gave me a Girafarig, but of course it fled. Dammit, a Girafarig would have been amazing.

And then I got this on Mt.Pyre, hoping for Vulpix because of Steven. As it turned out, this thing had HP Ground though, there was hope.

Another route, another Pokemon. This time actually one that I wanted, and then this. Asdfdgh. Seriously, I can't say anything else to that.

Oh yeah, before I could fail to catch the Girafarig...

...I had to get this utterly useless item. Bah.

The last May battle was no problem.

But then, suddenly this. Another of these "HOW THE &§$# DID THAT JUST HAPPEN"-deaths

There are also good things though. Like the fact that Mauro FINALLY evolved. And learned Hyper Beam. A very situational move, but I can foresee situations where it might actually come in handy.

It's always a good decision to pick up the Master Ball BEFORE the Electrode. I find it a nice way to avoid Selfdestruct.

Why is he laughing?:t054:

And I got to Mossdeep. Somewhere on the way there, Theodorus (Wailmer) accidentally killed a Magikarp, and the only other thing I did so far was the gym battle. Which was a huge pain. If I wouldn't have gotten a Surf Durf crit on Lunatone just in the right moment, Theodorus probably would have died. And even with only Solrock left on the enemy side, Tvrquil's (Grumpig) turn still was mostly used for healing. Damned Sunny Beam.

So, here's the plan how to continue:
1. Buy some Repels
2. Use them to get to that one unimportant Water City without wild encounters
3. Get the Super Rod
4. ???
5. Profit

Disregard that, Bulbapedia says it's in Mossdeep, not Pacifidlog.

Aaargh, so I did some research on Bulbapedia only to find out that even with the Super Rod, almost all routes will still have a 60% (?) Wailmer chance. So there's plenty of chance I'll be able to assemble a full Wailmer team soon.
Also, Staryu is only availiable in Lilycove City, and I already fished something else there. AAARGH.

POKEMON SOUL SILVER : Nuzlocke - Update : First Loss !!

Okay, so I proceeded to grinding my two Pokemon further, then took care of Team Rocket. I then headed to the gym, where I got my first loss.

VS. Bugsy - The Bug Gym Leader !

He proceeded with Scyther, which surprised me. Well, I was leading with D. Peck JR, thinking that one of the cocoons would go out first. I switched to Gasssy (Hypnosis + Curse + Potion + U-Turn : 0.25 power = rapin'), and he used Quick Attack. lol. Well, he used Focus Energy, and I Hypnosised. He fell asleep, then I cursed and healed with my Potion. I Licked until he woke up (on the red) and used U-Turn. It landed crit., but didn't cause fainting, but 5 HP remaining (from full .__.). So, I switch to D. Peck JR, raped the Kakuna which followed, then... met Scyther again. Of course, I switched to Gassy, which neutralised the Quick Attack. I did the same, and Bugsy used a Super Potion, which healed Scyther. Then, he U-Turned. This time, Gassy remained with ONE FRICKIN' HP. Now that's luck.
I switched to D. Peck JR, raped Metapod and Scyther showed up again. I switched back to Gassy and he swallowed (yet another) Quick Attack. Then, I used Curse... he used Focus Energy.
I knew that he'd use U-Turn. He was in the red due to Curse, and a U-Turn would have killed Gassy. I panicked and without thinking, I thought Leafy would survive and Sleep Powder. Otherwise. He did not... he died with an U-Turn.
Fangs destroyed that evil bug, but... at what cost ?

*New* Team

D. Peck JR (Spearow) m Lv. 14 : U-Turn, Pursuit, Peck, Fury Attack.
Fangs (Totodile) m Lv. 15 : Water Gun, Scratch, Bite, Leer.
Gassy (Gastly) m Lv. 15 : Night Shade, Lick, Hypnosis, Curse.

Hell :
Leafy (Bellsprout) Lv. 3 - 14 : Killed on a sacrifice by Bugsy's Scyther.

Update, without any story progress, but because I caught a ton of new Pokemon. And how much variety did I get?
Spoiler:

Alright, so I got my Super Rod. What did the Good Rod guy say again? Right, "A GOOD ROD is really good." So does that mean the Old Rod guy said "An OLD ROD is really old"?

Then I fished and got this.

However, when I decided to whittle its HP down some more with Astonish because it had already eaten a ton of Pokeballs, Mauro got a crit and Sharpedo died. Too bad.

On the next route, I got ANOTHER Sharpedo. And then suddenly:

...THE HELL? THEODORUS HAD A GREEN HP BAR BEFORE THIS. NOOOO
Of all the Wailmers I have, my favorite (modest nature) one must die. Of course. And he was just one level from evolving...

The box shall be a prison for you.

Then, I entered Shoal Cave, wanting a Spheal. The cave was flooded, so I had to swim across a tiny bit of water to get to a place where Spheal spawns. So guess what happened?

Exactly. The game decided to give me another Tentacool.

As for the rest of the routes, just look at this: The jpg that gives me an overview of the Pokemon situation in this run. Please note that it is huge, even after I cut off a big empty part at the bottom. Also excuse for the silly location names. And the fact that Mauro is still a Loudred on this.
Spoiler:

That should still be enough Wailmers for an entire Wailmer team, even without poor Theodorus.

Not posting the team, box and dead now, the old ones didn't really change (well, except for Theodorus of course... and Donny finally learned Bite, but that's it) and the newcomers excel more in quantity than in quality. And by quality, I mean variety.

Also, there are only a few more areas left to catch Pokemon for me: Underwater, Sootopolis, Evil Team Cave, Cave of Origin, Ever Grande and Victory Road. (did I forget anything?)
Three of these will yield Water Pokemon. And then I will get Zubats from the caves. High-level Zubats that are a massive pain to evolve into Crobats. Totally calling it. At least Underwater will likely give a Chinchou.
