Ugh. This challenge has just not been good so far.
Update:
Spoiler:
Since I have already finished the challenge using Chikorita and Cyndaquil, I decided to go for Totodile this time. Named the Totodile Zephania
After completing the beginning stuff, I went to Route 42 and caught a Jigglypuff named Kamaria and grinded Kamaria for a very long time.
In the Dark Cave, I caught a Geodude named Ealisaid and proceeded to grind it to take on Falkner. First, however, I caught a Rattata named Abena in the Sprout Tower, but it unfortunately, died while training.
Falkner went down easy after training all three pokemon.

On Route 32, I caught a Mareep named Tsholofelo and in the Slowpoke Well, I caught a Zubat named Kirabo, but both died while training (I tend to be very careless). Zephania also evolved into a Croconaw along the way.
Bugsy was still easy though.

I then caught a Caterpie named Afua and trained it until it was about the same level as the rest of my pokemon and evolved into a Butterfree.
The gym leaders continued to drop like flies as Whitney was also very easy to beat.

I used Rollout to my advantage with Jigglypuff learning it before the battle.
I decided to take my chances in the Bug Catching Contest, but unfortunately, I was only able to catch a Kakuna. Named it Esi, but put it into the box.
On Route 36, I caught a Hoothoot named Kwame and then on Route 37 I caught a Growlithe named Asha, but both died in training.
Finally, I was able to add another member to my team when I caught a Zubat in the Burned Tower. Named it Tendaji. Ealisaid also evolved into a Graveler.
Morty was relatively easy to beat thanks to Afua's Confusion and Ealisaid's Magnitude.

Many things happened on the way to face Chuck.
First I caught a Miltank named Hlengiwe on Route 38 and then a Rattata named Sibonaka on Route 39. I put Hlengiwe in the box, but kept Sibonaka for now.
Then after going through the Light House, I caught a Tentacool named Xolani on Route 40 and a Tentacruel named Jumaane on Route 41. Both were deposited into the box. Unfortunately, there were some deaths as Tendaji and Kamaria were both taken down by a Swimmer's Goldeen and Seaking. I trained a lot before taking on Chuck, but I was too lazy to add new Pokemon to my team so Zephania, Afua, Ealisaid and Sibonaka were forced to handle it by themselves. Sibonaka already evolved into a Raticate.
And Chuck proved to be easy.

Unfortunately, Jasmine was not. I thought Ealisaid would be strong enough to take down all of her pokemon, but I was mistaken as 1 Iron Tail was all it took to take Ealisaid down. Zephania finished her off, but it was a tough blow. (I forgot to take a picture).
After catching a Seaking named Imeda on Route 42 went to the Lake of Rage and then entered the Rocket Hideout. Everything was going well until Sibonaka was taken out by an exploding Electrode.
Since then, Hlengiwe has taken its place and I went back to Goldenrod to get an Eevee named Farai. And that is where I am now.

According to my PUAP list, today was the day to continue my Green Nuzlocke, so that's what I did.
I was at Vermilion, without having beaten Misty. So I did the stuff to do around, lost a Diglett and a Pidgey while trying to level them, but managed to let one of my Sandshrews catch up to my team of Charmeleon, Butterfree and Golbat. Caught a Magikarp on the SS Anne and beat Gary quite easily, beat Misty thanks to poison and Golbat's super-effective Leech Life without any losses, slayed Surge, killed a Spearow and caught a Sandshrew (my third) and a Zubat (my second). Saved in front of Rock Tunnel.

Team:
Spoiler:

:t005:LIZAR, lv. 26
:t012:NATUR, lv.26
:t042:GAOLU, lv.27
:t028:SANDW, lv.26
:t027:DESER, lv.14

Movesets are still uninteresting at this point. Everyone spams the moves they are known for anyways.

Box:
Spoiler:

:t129:CARPS, lv.5
:t027:DSR C, lv.15
:t041:PPN B, lv.16

Dead:
Spoiler:

:t029:NIDER, lv.4-4, Pidgey
:t016:BOBO, lv.4-17, Zubat
:t050:DEGUD, lv.16.17, Magnemite
:t016:BOBO, lv.14-17, Rattata

DSR C and PPN B are supposed to mean Sandshrew (in this game called DESER) 3 and Zubat (called Papan) 2. The level 14 cut slave in my team will be renamed DSR B at some point. Also, I love Sandslash's name.

Alright hello! Odds of me being remembered as a challenger? Very poor, it's been ten pages... Anyways, once again a link to my Youtube can be found in my sig, where I'm putting all of the "video log" I'm making... So, what happened since I beat Misty?

Went and got a Meowth (Vittish), Diglett (Vashnir), Oddish, and Ekans(Veronica/Viper), but Diglett died. Boxed Oddish and took on Vermillion, it was good times. After that I went through to Rock Tunnel. On the way, I found another oddish or spearow, I forget which, it's in the log. In the cave I caught an alcoholic mankey (Vitalia), which was after a small debate, boxed for the ten minutes before my Butterfree (Vallint) died (good riddance, really) and pulled him out again. Caught another Meowth west of Lavender, ground Vitalia, moved on.
Currently LPing Pokemon FireRed: Nuzlocke Style.

Hey, sorry for not updating, everyone.
Imma go head and delete the challengers section as tons of people take on the nuzlocke challenge each day (which btw is great, thanks guys) and keep the champions section.

I've tried six times to complete one of these, but I either die (generally in the early stages), or get bored. I got up to Sabrina on one LG Nuzlocke run, but made one silly mistake and got myself into a situation where I couldn't land a hit, and lost every member of my team :(

I might give it a go again on HG or something. Definitely not starting with Chikorita though - stupid shallow movepool.

OK, Update time!

Update 3-You win some, you change some, you lose some, then you get some more
Spoiler:
OK, So I grinded the team, then I beat the Gym Leader of Sanyou City, with Yappy alone. Cool badge getting animations, I think. Then I went to the Dream Place, and caught another Minezumi. Caught it, nickname is Senty. Next route, battle some kids and a teacher, Yappy evolves and I deposited Senty in the Daycare. Then I beat Specs Guy. I withdrew Senti. I also caught Mamepato, nickname is Tweta. Next route, while grinding, guess what. Tweta died. I was shocked, but I was a little careless in that battle. You shall never be forgotten, Tweta. I deposited Tweta in the Dead Box I had to make.
Then I entered that cave thing, and the first thing to show up was a Koromori! Caught it. Nickname is Batri.

Party:
Senty the Sentret
Alvin the Sentret
Oakey the Yanapuu
Yappy the Haderia
7nyat the Pokabu
Batri the Koromori

Boxed:
None yet

Dead:
Tweta the Mamepato. Killed by a Minezumi

Update over.

The only thing boring about nuzlockes is the grinding, or rigorous training which is quite essential. I would reccomend grinding your 'mons to the level of the Gym Leader's strongest Pokemon, if you hope to stand a chance. Chikorita may seem bad at first, but honestly your starter does not have to be your "Alpha Male" in Nuzlocke runs, hell I did a white run with a Gigiasu at lead after Aloe killed Max, my Futachimaru. Anyhow, if you want any more tips, feel free to VM me.

For once someone else posted. :D

Update time
Swept all the trainers from the cave exit up to Snowpoint. I actually caught things this time. :D I caught a Snover Lvl 32 I think (named it Ice Age). Grinded Ice age to Lvl 40 and evolved it. I really wanted a Tentacruel so I went and surfed below Sandgem (luckily there are 3 routes because the first 2 had Wingull in it >_>) Caught Tentacool (named it Rule 34) Grinded Rule 34 to Lvl 41 and decided to pwn Candice. Her trainers stood no chance against me. Then we got to Candice, now her pokes where laughably easy then there was Abomasnow. It did not want to die and due to me not paying attention to how much health I had Dissonance died to the hail.
After Dissonance fainted Raid cleaned up shop with Attack Order. Skipping up to the Cyrus battle because nothing interesting happened. Now I thought all of my losses were done until the 2nd Cyrus battle or Volkner where I always have problems.
Murkrow and Golbat were no problem at all, then there was Sneasel. I had put Ice age up for it and after seeing how low my hp was after Wood Hammer recoil and it Ice Punching me I decided it would be a good idea to send out Rule 34, this was not a good idea however because it then preceded to hit me with slash, critical hit, and Rule 34 fainted. At this point I wanted to rage because I just caught the damn thing yesterdayand raised it up 22 Lvls in less than 2 hours. >_>
Anyway Raid came in next and finished off Cyrus. After that I barely beat Saturn, but no casulties. After that I did the whole Iron Island event got my Riolu egg and am now saved in Wayword Cave attempting to get a Gible so I can completely trash the rest of the game w/o worrying about it dying.
Raid Lvl 45
Ice Age Lvl 44
Riolu Still inside the egg.

Dead: Leif Lvl 2-35
Off Lvl 15-32
Dissonance Lvl 5-45
Rule 34 Lvl 22-44

Huge Update here:

To the Elite 4
Spoiler:
After training Farai for a while, I decided to challenge Pryce. Unfortunately, the lead up to Pryce did not go as planned as both Farai and Afua were killed by trainers inside the gym. Still, I tried to take down Pryce using just Zephania and Hlengiwe and won easily.

In preparation for what was about to come, I went into the Ice Path and caught a Golbat named Giorgi as well as a Krabby from Cianwood named Uduak. I also caught another Krabby named Andile in the Whirlpool Islands, who I put in the box. I trained both of them as well as my Tentacool, Xolani, before going to Goldenrod to take down the Rockets. All was going well until Giorgi was taken down by an exploding Weezing. The rest of the Rockets went down quickly after that. Next up was Clair. Before challenging her, I caught a Magikarp in Blackthorn named Nuru and grinded it to the same levels as the rest of my team after in evolved into a Gyarados.
Clair wound up being the toughest trainer I had to face up to this point. In fact, she killed basically my entire team. Fortunately, Xolani and Zephania prevailed. The others, were not as lucky.

So the preparation for the Elite 4 began. I decided to go to Ecruteak where I caught a Poliwag named Blaanid. Then on the way to the Elite 4, I caught a Goldeen named Dakarai in Tohjo Falls, a Ponyta named Kato on Route 27 and an Ursaring named Emem in Victory Road. I decided to train the Ponyta, Ursaring, Poliwag and the other Krabby I found before to complete my team.
Team before the Elite 4.

The Elite 4:
Spoiler:
I tried to kind of switch the pokemon I used for each one
Will was easy as Zephania Ice Punched and bit everything to death

Koga went down quickly thanks to Kato's ember and Emem's Earthquake

Next up was Bruno who was no match to Xolani

Karen was not much harder except Andile was killed by her Umbreon

And then there was Lance. I tried what I thought was a pretty good strategy. Blaanid opened up by taking down his Gyarados. Then, his next pokemon was put to sleep and Zephania swept everything afterwards with Ice Punch or surf.

Kanto: I currently have 7 badges as I have been too lazy to take on Blue yet.
Spoiler:
I went through the first gym leaders very quickly and I was kind of lazy to update everything that happened. Essentially since the Elite 4, Emem died and I tried to replace him with a Murkrow named Awotwi. I also replaced Andile with a Muk named Lerato. Then both of them died to different Gym leaders and I replaced them with a Marowak named Aberash (Got extremely lucky as I noticed after that it was carrying a thick club) and a Hypno named Dikeledi. Also, I dropped my Poliwhirl and replaced it with a Pidgeot named Ime.

Very small but very worth while update :)

Started in Wayword Cave (Secret Entrance) I figured since I had terrible luck finding Heracross that I wouldn't have any chance of finding a Gible.
Well about 15 seconds later random battle, it was a Gible (insert 4 turns of toxic and throwing pokeballs like mad) I caught it named it Dolex and when I checked its nature it was indeed adamant. Now I'm EV training it so don't expect another update until I'm finished training it.

Oh and Riolu hatched as well. :p

Sign me up for Yellow! Will try and update every gym leader

OK, I started and obviously chose Pikachu (Veskanar). I beat my rival John and went to the Pokemart in Viridian City. Some clerk told me to give a box to Proffesor Oak so I decided to be nice and go back. I gave i to him and he gave me a Pokedex. I go and buy some Pokeballs and catch a Pidgey (Lefdum) on Route 1, a Spearow (Peck) west of Viridian City, and a Nidoran male (Fehdrep) on Route 2. I trained them in the forst (accidentely killed a level 7 Caterpie on my fist battle by a critical hit) and go back and beat my rival again.I train Fehdrep to level 12 so he gets Double Kick and then went to beat Brock. I beat him on my first try, but took some damage. No one died though. I start to go east and on my third battle, Peck DIES (RIP Peck...)! I then save and came here and typed this in.Bye bye...

EDIT: Three battles later, Lefdum dies... RIP Lefdum

Ok, time for update 2!
Spoiler:

When I arrived at Azalea Town and saw what the Rocket grunts were doing there, I visited Kurt as his house, who insisted that he charge over to the Slowpoke Well and own each and every Rocket grunt. He managed to scare one, but then hurt himself on the way down. I took his place and destroyed grunts left and right. Proton didn't fare too well either.
I then proceeded to go to the Azalea Town gym. Lots of bug type trainers here, who got obliderated by Gatorade (Croconaw)'s high powered attacks. Bugsy, the gym leader, was a bit tougher - I eventually ended up Paralyzing his Scyther with WoolCoat (Flaaffy) and then wearing it down with WoolCoat's ThunderShock. Kakuna and Metapod were being, um... Kakuna and Metapod. They really didn't help Bugsy at all and were just free EXP points for me. I did have to rush Gatorade over to the Pokemon Center because of Poison Sting. He survived, hooray.
I then thought, "Well, I better head over to Ilex Forest to continue my adventure, but guess who I was stopped by? Kyle, my rival, of course. Kyle's Gastly and Zubat got laughed at by WoolCoat as they couldn't do anything against her. Bayleef was a different story. I had to paralyze it, then lower it's Attack stat multiple times so Bite his way to victory. WoolCoat did get poisoned however, but again was rushed over to the Pokemon Center and lived.
Going into Ilex Forest, I rescued two Farfetch'ds for some dude who gave me Cut. I immediatly taught Cut to SandSlave (Sandshrew), who is my HM slave. I then continued on, eventally reaching the end of Ilex Forest after helping a Kimono Girl out and teaching WoolCoat Headbutt. Oh yeah, my egg also hatched into Togepi, who I named Eggbert. Into the box with Eggbert at the first chance I get.
I failed to catch a Drowzee on the next route, then grinded my team up a bit. I headed on into Goldenrod City, but I didn't feel ready for the gym quite yet. I decided to head out into the route to the north and see what I could find. The first Pokemon I encountered was a level 14 male Nidoran. Because I needed the coverage it would eventually offer as a Nidoking, I caught it. I named it SpikeBack. I then grinded it up to level 22, which was the level of Gatorade and WoolCoat. This also evolved it into Nidorino. I grinded a bit more in Goldenrod Tunnel, and I was ready to take on Whitney.
I first went to the Radio Tower and got my Radio card for my PokeGear. This is where I saw Whitney, who ran back into the gym. I followed her and crushed all those Lasses with Gatorade and WoolCoat. Then came Whitney. Oh god.
Gatorade easily defeated Clefairy, because Clefairy's Metronome made it use Dig, giving me a free turn to use an X Attack. Gatorade's Ice Fang beat it. Then, Whitney sent out the dreaded Miltank. I honestly wasn't prepared at all. All my Pokemon could get beaten badly by Stomp, Gatorade and SpikeBack could get Attracted, and Miltank could easily heal off any damage done. Whitney also had Super Potions. Ugh.
I first spammed Ice Fang with Gatorade, which eventually froze Miltank. I thought victory was in the palm of my hand, but... Wait, what's this? Miltank has a Lum Berry? Oh, god. I'm doomed. I then spammed Ice Fang a bit more, but Miltank's Stomp began to overtake Gatorade, so I switched him out. I sent in WoolCoat, who proceeded to paralyze Miltank and Thundershock it. Miltank shook the Thundershocks off like they were nothing, and just Stomped me again and again. I thought it was over... But wait, what's this? I have SpikeBack? Oh yeah!
SpikeBack came in, and I used Potions on both Gatorade and WoolCoat while Miltank couldn't move. I then bravely spammed Rivalry-lowered Double Kicks at Miltank. Whitney tried to keep up, but SpikeBack overwhelmed her eventually. Miltank fainted! Yes! I would have made a comic, but my scanner doesn't work any more... :(
I then grinded up a bit more on the northern route, and then I stopped playing.
