K...hmm.

Gonna try this on LeafGreen, with Kangaskhan, Kadabra, Kabutops, and Kingdra.

Will hack in Kabuto in the beginning, Kangaskhan and Horsea shortly after that and we'll go from there. Should have all four at Celadon at least.

Bong, you get M.

So I have A... I guess I'll be using Arcanine, Arbok, Aerodactyl and ...Abra.

Letter please. I'll be doing it once I finish my HGSS Totodile solo runthrough. As for the game version, I do not know yet.
I will record and end up posting it on my YouTube channel.

Okay, here's my first update, for Pokemon Red. There aren't any screenshots because I played it on my Gameboy Colour (good times). So that also means NO HACKS for me. :)

Spoiler:

• I chose my starter to keep until I caught my first member of team A (Ekans). I chose Squirtle so I could use it as a future HM slave for surf, and also to get through the Pewter City gym easily.

• Brock's Geodude and Onix were both defeated with one water gun each, so there's the Boulderbadge. Yay.

• I caught a Spearow to trade for a Farfetch'd in the future, which could be used as a HM slave for both Cut, and Fly (until I get Aerodactyl).

• I tried to defeat Gary near the entrance to the Pokemon League with just Squirtle, but he defeated me twice (damn that Pidgey's sand attack to hell!) so being the stubborn fool I am, I defeated him the third time with the help of Spearow. I then deposited Spearow back into the PC, because I'm making it a rule for myself to only use my starter until I get Ekans.

• I got through Mt.Moon, stopping to pick up a Mega Punch TM. After getting through all those trainers on the way to Cerulean City, Squirtle evolved into Wartortle.

• In Route 4, just before entering Cerulean City, I finally caught my first official team A member - Ekans! I stopped using Wartortle, and transferred it to the PC once I was sure Ekans could fend for itself. It was kinda weak at the start.

• After some training, Ekans evolved into Arbok, and I defeated Misty fairly easily to get the Cascade badge.

• I bet Gary for a 2nd time, caught an Abra north of Cerulean City, taught it Mega Punch, trained it up a bit then went to Bill's house.

• Headed to Vermilion city, where I traded my Spearow for a Farfetch'd. I went on the S.S. Anne and did more training. Bet Gary quite easily. I taught Arbok Dig, and taught Abra Seismic Toss as well as Bide. Once I got Cut, I taught it to Farfetch'd, then took on Lt.Surge, where my Arbok pwned all. xD

• Took the shortcut through Diglett's Cave to Pewter City, where I got Old Amber from the museum curator.

My current party (letter A):

Arbok, L.32

Wrap
Dig
Glare
Bite
Notes: At this point, Arbok is just awesome. It hasn't lost a single battle since its days as an Ekans. Not to mention, with Dig, it can now take care of Rock, Fire and Electric types with ease.

Abra, L.33
Teleport
Mega Punch
Seismic Toss
Bide

Notes: Abra is more of a challenge. Because I can't evolve it, it doesn't have much HP. It's attack and defense are quite low (low 20s compared to its Special stat of about 70-80), so until I get some Special TM moves to teach it, it's going to remain difficult to train. It faints frequently. xD Poor thing. Seismic Toss comes in very useful at times, though.

Farfetch'd, L.5 (HM slave)

Peck
Sand-Attack
Cut

After finishing a challenge with the letter T on Red, I decided that it would be fun to do it as a multi-generational challenge. So, I've begun a T challenge on Gold, where I have several more possibilities for my team than I did in Red. My progress so far:

-Chose Cyndaquil as my starter (yay Typhlosion!) and did the beginning of the game stuff and got the first badge; Cyndaquil evolved into Quilava

-Hatched the Togepi egg (my second team member)

-Beat Bugsy and Whitney (mainly with Quilava; Togepi still hadn't evolved, and wasn't much use)

-Beat my rival in Ecruteak

-Caught a Tauros for my team (lvl. 15). In the process of this search, Quilava evolved into Typhlosion

-Defeated Morty (Typhlosion lvl. 37, Tauros lvl. 18, Togepi lvl. 14) [+HM slaves])

-Caught a Tentacruel in the waters south of Olivine (team member #4)

-Defeated Chuck and Jasmine (Typhlosion lvl. 38, Togepi lvl. 19, Tauros lvl. 27, Tentacruel lvl. 22)

-Togepi evolved into Togetic (lvl. 23)

-Defeated Pryce (Typhlosion lvl. 41, Tauros lvl. 30, Togetic lvl. 23, Tentacruel lvl. 26)

Update #2 for Team A in Red. =o

Spoiler:
• I traveled through the Rock Tunnel (without flash, I just looked up a map 'cos I'm lazy) and defeated Gary for the 4th time at Lavender Town.

• Caught a Growlithe in Route 7 (YAY) and did some training.

• Went on a shopping spree at the Dept. Store in Celadon City. Bought a Fire Stone and some TMs, as well as a few Proteins for Abra.

• Defeated Erika in the gym and won the Rainbow Badge. I thought Growlithe would defeat the grass types easily, but he was still a little behind on leveling and his ember was weak.

• Defeated all the trainers at the Rocket Hideout. Growlithe finally caught up with my other Poke's levels. I defeated Giovanni.

• I taught Earthquake to Arbok and Psychic to Abra (FINALLY)! Later on I taught Fly to Farfetch'd.

• Went back to Lavender Town and got through the Pokemon Tower, and then went to Saffron City where I defeated both the trainers at the Dojo and the gym. Alakazam was difficult, because of its recover. I thought there was only 20 PP for Recover, so I just waited for its PP to run out. But it just never ended, WTF! Eventually it stopped using Recover for EVERY SINGLE TURN so I managed to defeat it.

• Defeated all the trainers at the Silph Co. (ugh, so many) and Gary for the 5th bloody time. I then defeated Giovanni again.

• Traveled down the Cycling road to Fuschia City, and then went through all of my TMs to decide which ones to teach to which Pokemon.

My Current Party (letter A):
Spoiler:

Arbok, L.44
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Glare
Bite
Notes: Its no-fainting streak ended, but it's still a Pokemon I can always rely on. It's all around a good Pokemon with balanced stats. It deals big damage with Rock Slide and Earthquake, and paralyses with Glare.

Abra, L.44
Psychic
Rest
Seismic Toss
Tri Attack
Notes: Ever since I taught it Psychic, it became pretty much unstoppable. It has the least amount of HP out of my Pokemon but that's no longer an issue now that it KOs everyone, and learnt Rest. I've given it about five HP Ups to help as well. xD I taught it Tri Attack because it's a Special attack, right? It's pretty weak, though, so maybe it is Physical. *Shrug* I may replace it with Thunder Wave.

Growlithe, L.44
Bite
Body Slam
Ember
Leer
Notes: It's probably the weakest of my Pokemon at the moment, but it should do great once it learns Flamethrower at Level 50, which is when I'm planning to evolve it into Arcanine. (!!!)

Farfetch'd, L.5 (HM slave)
Peck
Sand-Attack
Cut
Fly

Day 2 of my T challenge on Gold:

-Cleared Team Rocket out of the Radio Tower in Goldenrod
-Defeated Clair
-Defeated the Elite Four (Typhlosion lvl. 54, Tauros lvl. 50, Tentacruel lvl. 43, Togetic lvl. 33)
-Traveled to Kanto
-Defeated Lt. Surge, Sabrina, and Erika
-Fixed the Magnet Train and defeated Misty
-Defeated Janine
-Defeated Brock
-Defeated Blaine
-Defeated Blue
-Defeated Red

Final Team:

Typhlosion lvl. 65
-Flamethrower
-HP Grass
-Thunderpunch
-Headbutt

Togetic lvl. 61
-Psychic
-HP Fire
-Fly
-Sweet Kiss

Tauros lvl. 61
-Earthquake
-Thrash
-Pursuit
-Rest

Tentacruel lvl. 60
-Surf
-Giga Drain
-Wrap
-Acid

Reflections: Defeating Red was somewhat challenging given the level difference, but satisfying. Compared with my Red "T" run, I didn't find Tentacruel and Tauros as useful this time around, probably due to their lower stats (thanks to the split Special stat) and the lack of availability of TMS that I liked a lot (Ice Beam, etc.). I enjoyed gaining team members gradually this time, rather than having to wait until halfway through the game like I did with Red. It was also nice to have more than three choices of team members this time around.

I was tempted to use Tyranitar at the end of the game, but ultimately decided that I didn't feel like training it.

I think I'll continue this challenge for Ruby next, and then maybe Diamond, if I have time. Best of luck to everyone else with this challenge.

I've continued my T challenge on Ruby. At the moment, my team is:

Torchic lvl. 41
Taillow lvl. 32
Torkoal lvl. 18
Trapinch lvl. 32
Tentacruel lvl. 35
Tropius lvl. 26 (just caught)

I just arrived in Fortree city. The beginning of the game went fairly smoothly, though it was tough at times. I'm not too wild about the lack of fully evolved Pokemon I can use, particularly since it means that I have to remember to press B constantly after battles to stop evolution (and in a short timeframe, too, due to the emulator's speed). Too bad I don't have more everstones.

Update: Beat Winona (after leveling up Torchic to level 43 so it could learn Flamethrower)

Fantastique, you shall have... B!

Here is my 3rd update for letter A in Red. ;D

Spoiler:
• Defeated Koga at the Fuschia City gym, getting the Soul Badge. Arbok and Abra defeated them easily.

• Went to Cinnabar Island and gave a scientist the Old Amber, finally receiving Aerodactyl!

• Got through the Pokemon Mansion to get the Secret Key and trained Aerodactyl.

• Unlocked the gym and defeated Blaine, mostly with Aerodactyl to continue training it. It was several levels behind but it surprised me and did an awesome job.

• Growlithe finally reached level 50, learning flamethrower. I evolved it into Arcanine and it become so much stronger. My little Growlithe is all grown up. :')

• Defeated Zapdos at the Power Plant just for more training, and then caught Articuno at the Seafoam Island. I was initially going to do the challenge without Articuno, but none of my other Pokemon can learn ice attacks, and, well, this challenge allows legendaries, so what the hell. I'm trying not to use it much.

• Defeated Giovanni at the Viridian gym, earning the final badge.

• Headed east to the Pokemon League entrance, where I battled and defeated Gary. Will he ever die!?

• Entered Victory Road...

My current party:

Arbok, lvl.50
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Glare
Strength

Abra, lvl.50
Psychic
Rest
Seismic Toss
Thunder Wave

Arcanine, lvl.50
Double Team
Body Slam
Flamethrower
Toxic

Aerodactyl, lvl.48
Take Down
Bite
Supersonic
Fly

Articuno, lvl.50
Peck
Ice Beam

Wartortle, lvl.24 (HM slave)
Tackle
Tail Whip
Bite
Surf

This should be interesting, considering there's only 3 Pokemon you can get in Emerald starting with B LOL
But I got Blaziken so it's okay c:

EDIT: Oh nevermind there's 5.
