How do you obtain knowledge on the current status of the earth around you? In other words, where do you hear the news? TV, Newspaper, Internet, other? And why do you use that specific medium? And which medium do you think is useless these days?
he did it, not me.

Well actually I obtain my info in every single way but I perfer internet and tv. Internet because its not one big cluster of words with different articles like a newspaper. Tv because I don't like to read most of the time so yeah. I only read newspapers for the comics, catalogs, and to see who died today

Mainly on the TV. Since I can go on my laptop in my room and I have a large screen (bragging ftw) tv in my room which is just accross from me. <3 Another way I hear the news is from family, but only if I haven't watched the news in ageeeees. "3

I mainly watch the news on television or read about it on the internet. When I watch it on tv it's pretty much always because someone else was already watching it and I'm joining them. As for when I'm online, my homepage lists top news stories. So every time I open FF, I'll scroll through the stories and read the ones that catch my eye.

I'll read the paper on occasion too, I just usually don't have the time for it in the mornings and by the time I might actually have a moment for it, it has been recycled.

I don't think that any method is useless. I've heard a lot about how the newspapers are dying because more and more people are using the internet to read about news, but I still think that there are plenty of people who read the newspaper, so I don't find it useless at all.

The Internet. And honestly, I don't check it religiously. If I happen to see a news piece on the Yahoo front page that interests me, I'll click on it and read it, but I don't consider myself a person who has to stay on top of the news.
Pretty much what he said, but more by chance than by choice. I don't have cable TV anymore, so that option's out. I don't have regular access to a newspaper, so that's out. I do have Internet however, and Yahoo Mail is set as my homepage, so if I see an srticle that intrigues me whilr I'm checking my mail, I'll click on it, otherwise I just let it go.

man, I'm not nearly as informed as I used to be. >_<

Mostly from the TV, I overhear when others are watching it. Also, sometimes the internet.
