I agree with most of the people on here about the trading thing, but to not sound like a broken record:

I'm going to get attacked for this, but I would take out legendary pokemon. Or well the ability to catch them.
1.) Most of them you have to get from an event. Not many people can do this.
2.) People use them on their teams. Instead of striving for a Chuck Norris team, people should learn how to use other pokemon so they can have a sturdy team.
3.) They're not really legendary anymore if everyone in the world can catch one. :/

Now before someone says anything, yes, I do sometimes catch legendaries when I am bored and have nothing else better to do with my time, but most of the time I could honestly care less about them.
I just hate that in order to have a "fully" completed pokedex I have to catch them too. I know I can fill it without them, but it irks me not having every pokemon, you know?

My personal pick would be Wynaut and Wobbuffet-- I absolutely hate those Pokemon, and whenever I go up against at least Wobbuffet, it sucks all the fun out of the battle. Its such a boring and ugly Pokemon...

Others would probably be the standards-- Minezumi and Bidoof specifically are Pokemon I really dislike, and would trade them in for almost anything far better if I was ever given the chance to replace an old Pokemon with something new. Would anyone prefer a Red Panda-like Pokemon over these two horrible Pokemon? I know I would! =D

HMs are another thing I don't really like about the games. Sure, moves like Surf and Waterfall are useful in battles as well-- I don't mind those. But moves like Cut aren't. Its hard enough maintaining the moves you want when you have to give your Pokemon HM moves on top of it all. Thankfully though HM moves don't completely hinder progress in Generation V, except for on Victory Road and in a few random cases-- I managed to get pretty far without even teaching my Pokemon any HM moves for a while! Even Fly!

Darkness. I hate the darkness in caves... and if not, I'd at least let Pokemon who are of the Fire- and Electric-types automatically light up the area if they are first in the party. (maybe even those with Illuminate as their ability) Wouldn't that be pretty nice?

There's probably more, but I'll leave it at that for now... xD;

5th gen Pokemon and like half of 4th gen...

There are VERY few 5th gen that actually look like a "Pokemon" they all look like weird fakemon. One of them looks like Aquilmon from Digimon (but I think it does look kind of cool)...also I checked some stats of the new ones...WHY IS GAMEFREAK GIVING THE NEW POKEMON GODLY STATS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! They outclass most of the older ones now.....

4th gen just raped the originals by giving them so many new evolutions...
When I was young, there were only 151 Pokemon, and Pluto was a planet...

I would get rid of random Pokémon encounters, at least the way they are done currently.

I still want to see wild Pokémon, but the whole random chance for an encounter while walking is out of date by a whole decade or so, and just adds unnecessary frustration to the experience.

I would get rid of fisherman, caves( just shorten them instead of a huge puzzle), and event pokemon.
When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house,
I had only two things on my mind:
Paul Newman and a ride home.

I would also get rid of trade evos and event pokemon. I'm not able to trade(As do I have no DS Pokémon games) and the nearest ToysRUs to Yeovil is quite far away.

One thing:
Non-optional tutorials (such as catching pokemon, and some kind of stuff, I know how to catch pokemon already! Could you just add: "Do you know how to catch pokemon?" and a Yes or No.)
We have to live each day like there is no tomorrow.
Because if you think, there is no tomorrow...

I would get rid of the boring intros you can never skip. I mean we've all more than likely played another game in the series and know everything already. We don't need to know it all again. I vote the have a password or something so vetrans can play without the intro. :/

When I say "Oh God..." I am refering to Arceus-sama.

Trade Evos. All pokemon are good for something or other (even if it's just a few lame jokes on how bad it is) and almost anything else can be ignored. Trade evolutions, though? Can't stand them.
Agreed. Trade evolutions are unrealistic and unfair to loners who don't have friends to trade with and also pokemon what are exclusive to one version for the same reason. I would also get rid of HMs - Charizard should be able to learn Fly without a HM. It has wings, being able to fly should be common sense.

I agree with you all the way! Seriously? The 5th generation?? I don't understand why people are going crazy over Black and White. I want the classics back! There's gonna be like over 600 damn pokemon!!!!!! XD Enough already! 5th generation is a joke.

Subjective opinion is subjective! YAY! (And by the way, there is 649, already over 600. If you know that already, ignore this.)

Anyway. I wouldn't get rid of any, tbh... Except for DRIZZLE Politoad and DROUGHT Ninetales. I'm sorry, but I'll never forgive that. It may only be Dream World, but... urgh, that's the only thing I hate about the 5th gen.
