I always called it yen (after my dad corrected me when I was young) but I heard some people call it pokedollars. Its really yen because of the sign that they used, and since the game came from japan. Thats another thing I've noticed, for the US version they don't bother to change the sign. Very interesting....

Money. Yup bland isn't it.

Even though it's probably Yen, I always associate it with the US Dollar. Exept I move a imaganary decimal to places to the left. So a Potion wouldn't be $200 it would be $2.00, to make it more logical.

When reading it in my head, I hear, "Shelby got 350 "P" (The letter P) for winning!"

I think I call it Poke.

I like the idea of them just being referred to as PokéCredits, but I like to think that this particular type of money is ONLY used for Trainers registered with the Pokémon League (By which I mean their information is put into the League Registry once they become a Trainer) and that this kind of money is only usable for Pokémon related things. Battle money and the like get added to your total on your Trainer Card, which is usable somewhat like a Savings Card (or whatever you guys call it in the US)

Other people in the Pokemon Universe, like businesses and corporations, use a general currency like the Coins at the Game Corner, and aren't usable in things like Pokémarts.
