Acctually there are! I think I wrote that before...
I did, and I wrote that there was even science about dragons, where they drawn and described dragon's anatomy in details! So how did they do that if they weren't real!
There were many hunting expeditions, where they used tools and weapond to hunt dragons! According to the writings, Normans were the best dragon hunters!

Are any of these things on the internet? If you had links, that'd be cool....

Just, I can't believe we don't get taught any of this stuff (apart from the crocodiles) in school....

Well all this is after all a theory, in which I believe, but I think that it's easier for general public to believe that they were a mere mith!
Sure, you could find all this on the internet, after all google is your friend!

Lol, I used Google Chrome, but Wikipedia is my friend, xD

I may look some of this stuff up....it's all very interesting. I trying hard not to sound skeptical, as I hardly know anything about dragons except ones in Eragon, pokemon, and that they generally look awesome.

Hey, I remember Norbert. He was so cute!
But yeah, I'm the kind of guy who needs to see in order to believe. I'm an atheist, too. Haha, I don't think it would pay much to be a dragon researcher, would it. Are there really people who make a living of that?

I'm an atheist too... although I was born, baptised, and confirmed as a christian, I just lost my fate, cause I realized that God doesn't exist!

Not sure about the researchers though...

Haha, I would totally become a dragon researcher if I'd be able to live of it.
Anyway, could Nessie be a surviving dragon? Or just a piece of driftwood? I mean, I don't believe in Nessie either, but just another 'what if'-situation.

Same...except I'm not an atheist. My theory is:

[AGELIMIT]God made the world, stuck around until Jesus died, then pissed off somewhere else to inspect his other properties. He'll be back one day xD[/AGELIMIT]

TKallab: It's bound to be a dragon/dinosaur if it does exist, doesn't it? Although unless dragoniteuser comes out with some weird powers dragons have, they'd have found it whilst scanning the lake with sonar.Unless it is the lakebed....

Agreed! I don't believe that Nessie ever existed, probably a pet croc someone released or something like that. But I do believe that dragons still exist in oceans! Who knows, maybe they ARE the Bermuda Triangle! ;) LOL

If dragons do exist, I think water dragons would kind of have devolved, so they can't breathe fire anymore. And as dragoniteuser said, all land dragons may have been killed in the Middle Ages, though I doubt that, because if they existed, they probably would have died earlier. So no fire breathing superpowers if dragons still exist. Which I doubt highly.
And let's not start about religion.

*Oh wait, ninja'd. Didn't see that.

Don't worry, religion isn't Dragon's Den concern!
Well I see that you don't know much about evolution, so it's normal that you don't understand much about what I'm saying.
If dragons still egxist then they most certanly do not breathe fire, cause they wouldn't have any use of it in the water!
Maybe they evolved with some new ways of hunting, maybe electricity, I don't know..., but they definitly don't look like any of the dragons i posted above!
They evolved and they look different! They probably have swimming webs, flat tail they use for swimming, branciae, and who knows what else!

Yes, I know some stuf about evolution, like natural selection and stuff. It would seem logical that water dragons with traits that could help them swim or hunt better would have a better chance of survival than those who don't, and the fire breathing wouldn't matter that much, so in the end, it's gone.
And electricity seems fair, we've seen it with eels and even sharks, right? Not sure about sharks anymore, though... Or was it dolphins? Like, for detection of prey?

LOL that's not electricity!
It's lateral line, a special organ all fish species have that detects movements in water!
But some species of rays and sharks can detect static fields... maybe that's what you were thinking of!

Yes, that's what I meant. But there are eels who can shock others, right?
Spoiler:
There's even a new eel pokemon who is only electric, not even water.
So maybe dragons could do that too. I know the Lagiacrus can. He still gives me the creeps. Not looking forward to fighting it at the end of the game.

True there are eels and rays that can burst high voltage electricity to knock out or kill their prey.
And if dragon still live then they could have learn this tehnicque!

That's what I'm saying.

I know there are a lot of species that haven't been found yet, but if there was a creature as big as a dragon, I guess we would have found it, right? I mean, the places where we haven't been, the depth of the seas, there's a lot of water pressure there. Just saying, I don't think dragons can survive that. Only Lugia can, haha.

So...what us 3 professors can now conclude is that Lugia exists for real. Thankyou, I'll be of to the Natural History Museum to sort out some leftover Lugia remains now.

Na...I get what you mean though. I guess Altaria could exist out at sea, creating sea fog (look at the wings, it's gonna have the skills to create fog, right?)

In fact, last month scientists saw for the first time a shark they thought was extinct! It's over 4 meters long and it was found at depth of 4500 meters! really check it on youtube!
There are ways in which animals can cope with high pressure and low water temperature!

*edit
That's not funny Amore!

I think we already stated that Altaria's wings are not made of clouds, but most likely a woolly or cotton substance.
And I know we still find species every day, but if there were ten meters long monsters living in the ocean, we would have found them already. Or am I saying something really stupid now?

Basically you are...
Like I said before 70% of world's sea is not studdied!
Do you know what a giant squid is?
It's a squid that's size is 10-13 meters and with all the new technology we have today, scientists still can't track them down! There is still a huge mistery about those creatures, regardless of their size!

I think it's time for a topic, we're going a bit off topic and what not.

How would you react if there were dragons (Pokemon ones!) in real life?

I would probably run away in confusion. When I realize it was a pokemon, I'd go back and try to befriend it, unless it was really big, like Salamence or Rayquaza, because I don't have a Master Ball...

Then I'd start a discussion with dragoniteuser if it's really a dragon, haha.

I would drop out of school and catch my favourite team ever (all dragons of course) and travel around pwning trainers!
