My philosophy is that to become the best person you can possibly try to be, you should try to learn as many points of view as possible. Here's how I explain that:

Picture the Earth as just a flat circle: O

Now picture yourself on Earth, represented by the point: O.

You are just one point of view. Now think of how many lines can stretch from the center of that circle to the edge. How many points do you think can fit in between those lines? Those points represent the other points of view on Earth, and I don't just mean other humans, I mean all organisms.

Now, if you draw those lines past the edge of the circle, imagine how much more points can fit in between those lines. The possibilities on what one can think and see seem endless. But of course, if you don't truly know yourself, it would be difficult to imagine how something else thinks of things.

That's a really nice analogy, Sin. ^^

As for me, my philosophy in life is simple: "Treat people how you'd like to be treated" and "Whatever I say I'll do, I'll do".

Those two philosophies will make you a great individual who will be respected by those around you. :]

Philosophy?

I'm simple enough to understand. As long as one can handle the simple way.

I try to be the best person possible within my human limits. That being said, I feel no guilt, as I never blame myself for anything, ever. I regret little to nothing. I enjoy life as much as my way of living permits, seeing as I can't be the best person possible if I'm busy struggling.

I will sacrifice myself until I find that the reward is starting to get outweighed by the consequences. Most of the time the consequences are my own frustration and wasted sweat.

I am vulnerable, because I would rather be the victim than the victimizer. I care little for my own wellbeing so long as I am not doing anything to hinder it.

Why? Because I possess the strength to keep it that simple. Blessed am I~

"do or do not; there is no try."
~all i've ever needed to know in life i've learned from the great yoda

this philosophy can be argued if looked at too simply. what yoda is saying is: to carry out a task with confidence and seeing neither the possibility of failure nor the possibility of success (which is what "trying" indicates) is the most efficient way to go about it.

Philosophy is a pretty general term, but limiting it to just purpose, I can see two potential reasons why I wish to live: my own happiness and the happiness of others. The former is your usual "carpe diem," to live for your own enjoyment. The latter means to work to help others in whatever way. I try to do a little of both.

My philosophy on life does not run deep; it is linear. I look ahead and allow my peripheral vision account for the things around me in which I am not focused on. I set goals in life and I do what I can to achieve them. However, I am extremely easily distracted by other goals, so I end up seeing too many things in which I intend to achieve. The goals of a person are merely one part of who they are and one aspect of human life. I find that I'm always in a rush to live up to my aspirations, so I tend to either achieve my goals quickly or I drop them; except a certain few things I've been passionate about. What goes through my head when I'm looking to reach self-actualization is the famous quote said by Nikita Ivanovich Panin; "In youth the days are short and the years are long; in old age the years are short and the days long." Which is extremely true in many ways. So one aspect of the what I live by, is simply to achieve by staying focused on the success. However, we all fail.

The way I live, is by that of doing what I feel is moral. Morality has a strong influence on who I am and I think that if I were to do something to contradict that feeling; I would be lost, I would no longer feel like I am who I truly am.
