This is a thread on how you keep yourself organized when it comes to school/college. xD How do keep yourself organized, and do you think you're a very neat person?

As for me, I'm not really that neat. When I have homework, I usually try to memorize it instead of write it down on my planner. ;;
he did it, not me.

At my school get a "Planner" which is a few pieces of paper with the days of the month with a space which you can write down reminders of things, I do use this unlike most students otherwise I would be lost of what I would be doing. I currently have lost this planner and now am disorganized, but to put a replacement there I shall just carry a piece of paper or note it down on my phone until I find the planner or obtain a new one.

I'm actually pretty organized with my school work, I know what to do and when to do it by.

I'm very lucky in that pretty much every university course I've taken thus far has very simple due dates. My assignments in almost all my courses are weekly and always due on the same day so once I memorize that date, I never have a problem. But I do have issues remembering when my midterms are. XD

For some of last year and so far this year, I use a calendar on my computer's desktop. I add tasks as they're assigned and they'll show up under the calendar which I make sure to never cover up soooo... hopefully I'll stay on top of everything. @[email protected]

In high school we all got planners/agendas at the beginning of the year but I used mine to draw and doodle in moreso than write homework and due dates in. XD; So I'm not good at keeping those.

I used to use a book the school gave us which was basically an organiser to write down homework and due dates and all that, but in the last year of school you don't really get given much homework per se, moreso you get the odd assignment and you have to give yourself the homework (if you want to do better, you do more study). So to answer the question, nowadays I just remember due dates in my head because there aren't many anymore.

guilty of being extraordinarily disorganized. i've already misplaced a couple of my textbooks, my notes are mostly doodles of cyborg cats eating clouds of mushrooms, my planner only has a few dates written in it (and they're birthdays). i have an extra notebook specifically for what homework i have for the day, but amid the mass of floral vine patterns and bubble letters and other random assignments i don't date i have a difficult time identifying my homework for the night. i should start using my mac's calendar application...........too bad i constantly suggest a new method of organization to myself and never end up doing it

Any sentence containing the words "me" and "organized" just don't compute. (: I NEVER wrote down my assignments unless I was on the verge of failing, which was always during the last week of every marking period. I was a bit of an underachiever, to say the least. xD

I really thought this thread was about dyslexia thanks to the title.

Bad organizational skills (and being lazy) is what cause me to get held back a few years ago :P
Nowadays I do all my assignments quickly right when I get them so I won't forget.

Unfortunately I am no where near organized myself, in fact I've never been much honestly, when it comes to homework I usually forgot some of the due dates and end up getting a bad grade, and even in my room, I don't know if you'd ever want to see it, it's not trashed but all these randomly old papers from school stuck in drawers is not very good. xD

Every school since middle school (maybe even some elementary) gave out planners; in some schools it'd double as hall passes if we needed them. Anyway, every year I'd get them, the first few weeks, I went "Oh man, this year, I am soooo writing down every assignment in here so I won't forget it!"

...yeah, by October, I wasn't writing them down in it anymore.

Most small assignments, I'd either just remember or bookmark the page or whatever. Or, in high school, I'd write down in whatever personal writing notebook I had on me. Re-reading old writing, I've found numerous page numbers or notes for whatever assignment I needed to remember. Much easier for me than a planner. Probably because I was constantly using those notebooks, and thus, I'd actually check and remember my work. It worked out so well that it's what I did in college, too, when I didn't have a syllabus to look at.

I mostly memorize it, but when midterms and finals come up, I have an iPhone app where I store all my assignments on it so I know when they are due. It's really handy, but for now...it's all in my head! lol

I use the school's planner, or so I'd like to say, but no. I'm an organized person, but I don't write down the dates of important events. My mindset is if it is that important, people will remind me of it. :D

In my old school we used to get a planner, or a homework diary thinger. We used it to record homeworks and notes in, but in the school I go to now, you have to get/find your own way to record homeworks in. :/ Lucky for me I had a small diary that I never used and decided to use it for homeworks and things. As for workspace.. it's totally different.. xD I have my worksheets and things all over the desk and don't organise them in a pile or put them into folders until the end of that class. xDDD

I am quite disorganized, yet somehow I'm able to keep track of all my deadlines and such. It certainly helps that I'm only taking one class this semester and it only meets once a week (albeit for three boredom-filled hours) so it's not that hard for me to keep track of assignments.

I might have to start getting more organized once I get an actual job, though...

Our school gives us a neat diary thingy. It contains cells with months, weeks and days, and even periods; on different pages of course. And we can write down homework , or any other short notes.

...And mine's good as new! I actually filled up most of my diary during the first session of school and I haven't filled it up since. I'm really not an organized person, when it comes to everything really D:. I try to remember all the assignments and homework, rather than jotting it down; note that I'm a pretty lazy person. But it works for me pretty fine. I get most of my things done, which is good. XD

As for neat..Ummm..I think I am. My desk is really messy though. I've got bits and pieces of paper here and there. Unfinished work on my bed and my books all over the place. Oh wait, that doesn't sound neat. ;;

When I'm writing in my planner I normally write in shorthand as we're told what are homework is like two seconds before the bell and I've been known to do the completely wrong thing for my homework because of it.

Not very organized. at all. we have planners to record our homework in...i never opened mine. i hardly do homework aside from projects and classwork...that might explain my craptastic grades
