Man, I've been playing too much Blazblue and now I have to catch up on every show
;_; I hate my broadband restrictions. TWGOK is undoubtedly my favourite series of recent times (even more so than Star Driver) and I haven't seen past Episode 2 or the second season. Watching any more would slaughter my broadband and I wanna seeeeee iiiiiiiiit! T_T

In other news . . . I may be a tad late, but Code Geass is amazing. I'm even watching it dubbed, and it's still great~
I thought the CG dub was great except for Nunally

Yeah, Nunnally's voice isn't fantastic, I agree. Still, one dodgy voice out of an entire cast is pretty good.

It went under my radar as well, looks decent though.

As for Kekkaishi, I'm not following it on TV but I saw it last year and enjoyed it. Unfortunately there are only 52 episodes from a manga that recently finished with 345 chapters but you never know they might make another season some day although probably not. I think I ended up giving the manga and the anime high 7/10 ratings as they were both pretty good.

KEKKAISHI! I just watched it on Animax! At first, I thought it was one of those generic anime, but really, it's one of those hidden gems of the shounen anime. Kekkaishi made me accept Bossun's seiyuu from Sket Dance...

Yoshimori's seiyuu took a while for me to get used to, tbh he was actually a pretty good fit for the character being that he sounds like an angsty teenager. I remember he was also pretty decent in Panty+Stocking, Blood+ and the so bad it's good Chaos;Head.

Ao no Exorcist is definitely getting better, I think I may do what i did with Bakuman and read ahead, I really hope this is a longer series. Also dat opening song, saxophones make everything better.

I read ahead, it's good for what it is but not as amazing as I'd hoped unfortunately. It kind of seems like a slightly more stylish version Kekkaishi minus a lot of angst. I do wonder what we're going to get with the anime though, it's started as if it has intent on being a longer series but it'll run out of material in a couple of seasons......we're going to get a filler ending aren't we. -.-

Actually, the end says "the shinkai is completely closed and the houin has disappeared...the finale of the extremely powerful kekkai battle, next time!"

So this is the second to last chapter: http://img2.bleachexile.com/manga/kekkaishi/344/kekk344_18.png

I just started on Ao no Exorcist. It certainly seems to be getting a lot better, still early days. I am tempted to read ahead but i shall not :)

Whatever criticisms you can apply to Rebecca Forstadt are equally applicable to Kaori Nazuka. Personally, I thought both of them were annoying as hell, though they did get more tolerable in the second season.

Overall, I found the English dub of Code Geass to be far more tolerable than the Japanese dub. Lloyd's Japanese voice was especially annoying, far more so than Nunnally's; Liam O'Brien's performance was far better, though admittedly it wasn't that hard to improve on Tetsu Shiratori's original. Also, say what you will about Jun Fukuyama, but his performance as Lelouch was quite flat compared to Johnny Yong Bosch's, especially in the later parts of R2. In a similar vein, Norio Wakamoto as Emperor Charles started out strong but ended up phoning things in by the time of his final appearance in R2, whereas Michael McConnohie was suitably bombastic from start to finish. On the other hand, Karen Strassman as Kallen Stadtfeld took a little getting used to for me, but she was at least equal to Ami Koshimizu by the end of the series.

I haven't seen the Japanese version, though I would definitely like to. I must say, though, Lloyd's English VA is fantastic. He sounds just like I would expect him to, given his mannerisms.

I went with the Japanese version, Yukana, Koshimizu, Orikasa and Fukuyama were on the list so it was a little hard to skip. Due to the fact the series is massively overrated I can't see myself rewatching soon but if I did I would probably stick with that version as I had no problems with it.

Code Geass, overrated? Sure, it gets a lot of hype, but unlike Naruto and One Piece, I think it deserves it. It's a marvellous psychological thriller on one level, and a kick-ass action series on another. And then on another, it's a marvellous peek into the psyche of a fascinating character. On another, it's Blue and Orange Morality, and then everyone's fifteen shades of grey. Is there such a thing as good or evil? The series works on so many levels. I often rave about anime I'm currently watching, but I think CG deserves it.

Code Geass is good but no way near as good as people make it out to be, psychological thriller?...it's not even at Death Note level in that field. It's a masterpiece if you like unrealistic plot twists, forced drama, forced humour, V for Vendetta, fanservice, bishie emos with superpowers and explosions. Even though i've said that there were a few magnificent moments..
Spoiler:
The scene where Rolo saves Lelouch, the phone shower scene with Kallen, The ending and of course he scene leading up to and Euphemia's massacre.

Being totally honest with you Geass feels like a well done mash up of every other popular anime in existence with very little to call it's own, if it did I'm sure i'd have rated it higher than 7/10.
Also, if you had superpowers 90% of what you use it for wouldn't be stealing a ride, small time Lulu.
