I do not like buses at all they are my least favorite way to travel. I hate them so much! :pink_pissed:

For one thing it takes too long to get to places because the bus has to go down lots of little lanes to pick people up. Also I hate it when creepy strangers sit next to me especially if they are old and even more especially if they start talking to me. They are like "Phew I'm glad to be out of that horrible weather" and I am like "Hmm yes it's not a nice day is it?" but secretly I am thinking "please go away..." Also some buses smell really bad.

I want to be old enough to drive then I will not have to ride on buses anymore.

I'd want to drive the bus, then I could trick it out like the Magic School Bus and take passengers on wacky adventures. It would be as awesome as a coffee pot singing opera in November.

I'm not a fan of city buses, especially where I live. They're slow, they stink, and the people scare me. I'm also very afraid of missing my stop and ending up somewhere where I am stranded for some time.

I'd ride more public transportation if they actually serviced my area when I needed them to (I would love it if at least one of the park-and-rides between my house and my school actually had service after 10 PM, so I could actually cut down on my fuel usage and save some money in the long term). The buses they do run in my area are nice and roomy and are very new, especially compared to the ones further in toward the Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
whoops
When it comes to the school bus I was never a big fan because of how early I had to wake up to catch it and the lack of people I liked who lived in my side of the neighborhood. So most bus rides to school just involved me sitting there falling asleep or listening to my iPod. My last year of riding the school bus was a lot of fun though because it ended up getting a new route where a few friends of mine lived. So I came to really enjoy catching the bus because of the good times we would all have. I liked it so much so that when I finally got my license and started driving to school it was sort of lonely in some ways. Every once and a while though I'll pick up some of my old bus friends on the way to school to savor the memories<3

As for the regular city bus I really enjoyed hopping on it! I used to always hang out over my cousin's house and she lived in a city where the GATRA bus would always stop and take you all over the county. In truth you pretty much only road it if you were old and couldn't drive anymore or if you lived in the poorer parts of the city. Her parent's were never home so we were always left to do whatever we wanted. A lot of times we would just hop on the bus and ride it to wherever we felt like. Looking back it was probably really dangerous for kids our age back then to just go without anyone knowing on a sketchy bus, but good times were had so I have no complaints.

I like to ride buses, but i never had gone on one by myself. It would sound pretty awesome to go to school on the bus, but it would be a waste of money if i went on one to school because I'm like a 3 minute walk to my school (although i am going to a more further away part of the school tomorrow morning, so maybe i should consider going on it?)

I would go on a bus to go to a supermarket but they are so near! In a way, the town i live in is too convenient for bus rides, but i would be pretty cool if the buses were more frequent in my area of the country.

So yes, i do like bus rides.

The only time I took the city bus was when I lived in New York, and I was at a young age then, sooo...

I've have ridden the school bus many times before though, and I can't say I enjoyed those. Like said, they make the trip longer than it needs to be, and it's just more convenient to have your own car as a way of transportation. What I hated most about my school bus specifically was the fact that it has no AC installed. So, in the afternoons it was just too hot on the bus, and my stop was almost only a couple stops before the final stop. So, my trip was longer than others. ):

Luckily, those days are over for me and I don't have to depend on a school bus anymore. I guess the only thing I can say I miss the most about it would be getting the chance to talk to my friends who rode with me after school.

...Oh, and seeing as this doesn't have that much discussion to it and is more so a poll than anything else, then I'll put this over in OVP.

I take it like two times a day (I keep buying monthly passes), so I have to like it XD Although it's really annoying at certain hours (8:30, 2:30 PM), when it's full of people going/coming back from work, but otherwise it's fine, causes less pollution than cars and it's cheaper. What else can I ask for?

I'd say I'd prefer buses to say an underground. There's something claustrophobic about tube trains that really gets me.. [/OT]

I like travelling by road, you can look out the window at things or just even stare off into space. I'm one of those weird people who like to watch the world go by whilst listening to my iPod :) But the buses that go to my school aren't exactly top of the range and have been known to break down. But because I live in a rural community there are only a few major stops in a few of the towns and we never have to go to everybody's house, they're expected to at least walk out to the main road :P

Yep. During my last year of high school my morning bus ride was over an hour long, but I liked it because it gave me a chance to wake up before class. I could just sit and relax while listening to music, it was nice. As for public buses, I'm not as crazy about them but I don't really mind them either.

THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO............... :P

I like riding them to get around sometimes, especially in rainy weather, but the bus routes are still confusing to me. :S

It's not fun waiting in the rain for the bus though, but luckily I only had to do that one time, I think.

But yeah, I've gotten dirty looks from some people before, I'm not sure if my face looked angry to them or something, oh well.

If we are talking about a school bus then no. I don't like riding those since it takes a while to get to your house since they have to drop everyone else off but if it comes to city bus...............I never been on one.

It's rare for me to take a bus these days. Unless I have a means of going somewhere with my mum and we can't get any transport, we'll take the bus instead. The only thing I don't like is the fact the seats facing the window (not the ones facing the same direction as the bus... if you get me xD) have no seatbelts and make me feel unsecure.

I dont mind catching the bus to and from school. It is always half an hour late, sometimes more after school which pees me off. But there are some funny people on the buses and it is interesting to see them.

No, not at all. Because of the following reasons:

1) When you're not wanting to be anywhere in particular the bus will come early, or 2 will come at once. If you want to be somewhere by a certain time the bus will always be late.
2) They smell.
3) They're always full of idiots.
4) The bus fare seems to go up every time I get the bus anywhere.

Unfortunately, as someone who can't drive I haven't really got an alternative to getting the bus. Ugh.
