Dude I care, your updates made me stop lulling around, I'm determined to be the 1st to go and finish the ultimate challenege here first, and with Tachikaze not playing as much on this challenge I took my time, however with you catching up (and with your excellent quality updates) I've had to up my game hahah :)

Hey there, take Scraggy, Joltik, Murkrow, Remoraid, Sandile and Croagunk. They are 6 pokemon I've really enjoyed using in the past (in remoraids case in this very challenge) so I hope you enjoy them too :)

Sweet. Yeah, Remoraid/Octillery's a Pokemon I've had my eye on for a while, but I tend to pick the water starters so I don't use many other water types.

In the Galatic Garden.
-Headed back to Jublife City, defeated the Galatic Grunts.
-Did some Rock Smash stuff with my HM Slave in that tiny cave.
-Made my way to Floroma.
-Did story stuff there.
-Defeated Commander Mars.
-Headed on up to Eterna Forrest.
-Went through Eterna Forrest with Cheryl and her chansey.
-Leveled my team up to level 15 whilst I had infinite healing.
-Entered Eterna City, did some stuff about town, trained on the route to the right, took on Eterna Gym.
-Defeated Gardenia using Jaw's Faint Attack on Turtwig, Food Inc's Stomp on Cherrim and Wild Thing's Confusion on Roserade. Got the Forest Badge and Grass Knot TM from Gardenia.

Team Info
Spoiler:

Jaws/[email protected]
Rash/Mold Breaker/Level 16/Male
Stats:52/53/43/30/29/38
Moveset:Faint Attack-Egg Move
Vicegrip
Seismic Toss
Rock Tomb
Opinion:Stats,as you can see, have boosted greatly! Been a great team member in this part ,and a weakened version of its final moveset seems to have taken place. Rock Tomb was added via TM for type coverage. Not used as much as I proberley should due to its unreliable accuracy. 8/10

Anaconda/[email protected] Claw
Brave/Rock Head/Level 16/Female
Stats:56/37/73/28/33/18
Moveset:Fire Fang
Ice Fang
Thunder Fang
Stealth Rocks
Opinion:Even more impressive then Jaws, she has demolished everything in her path, her stats are rediculous !! The only moveset change is one I said was a possibility in the last part, I scrapped Rollout due to Rock's ability to hit types for super effective is already taken care of by the 3 Fanged attacks. Stealth Rocks will help me a lot in later parts, especially the Elite 4 and fights against Cyrus.9/10

Mrs Claus/[email protected]
Sassy/Vital Spirit/Level 16/Female
Stats:45/31/25/31/29/31
Moveset:Future Sight-Egg Move
Present
Opinion:Still just about remaining usable. I am hoping it learns the Grass Knot TM, otherwise I don't know when I can get a TM to throw on it. It stats don't look terrible , I mean its attack stat is not far off Steelix's. I think its just Mediocre to the core. 6/10

Food Inc/[email protected] Bell
Brave/Scrappy/Level 16/Female
Stats:60/40/42/24/33/36
Moveset:Return
Curse-Egg Move
Stomp
Milk Drink
Opinion:I got to use Scrappy whilst training in the Eterna Forest, it made me feel good to use Stomp on a ghost. Been really effective this part and been a massive team player. I gave it soothe bell so Return can be its STAB attack and I can replace Stomp with a different move. I gave it Milk Drink as I am frugle and do not like spending my money :D 8/10.

Piranha/[email protected]
Lax/Swift Swim/Level 16/Female
Stats:49/42/45/40/33/29
Moveset:Water Pulse
Bite
Body Slam-Egg Move
Screech
Opinion:Simply my favorite pokemon on my team. Just defeats everything, rediculously useful. I'm really glad I have a Mixed Attacker on this team. Its moveset changesScreech was learnt naturally and is a good move for her, and Water Pulse, also learned naturally, is better then whirlpool. 10/10.

WildThing/[email protected]
Careful/Leaf Guard/Level 18/Male
Stats:54/32/49/43/30/37
Moveset:Absorb
Confusion-Egg Move
Sleep Powder
Growth
Opinion:Say hello to my highest levelled poke! He's been doing really well. Grass/Psychic are very effective early game. Roserade was taken down by his Sleep Powder-Growth-Confusion combo. Growth replaced Ingrain because Absorb gains back health, so it wasn't needed, plus I enjoy Stat Boosting.8/10

Pokemon White - Update #1: Beginning of the Game, Punching Things is Fun

After transferring off all of the good Pokemon I had on my old White file (there weren't many, I didn't play White all that much after I beat it) I started a fresh game. Picked up a Snivy as my starter (named Sir Vine). He's not a team member, but I did like using him for the first bit of the game. Good defenses + a couple of Growths = one gentleman snake you don't want to mess with.

I hadn't realized going in how long it would take before I'd be able to trade in my team members. I went through the first few rival battles, gym, and first Galactic encounter with Sir Vine (and Aquape the Panpour when Sir Vine got knocked out by Chili's Pansear. I really hate the elemental monkeys though so I only used him because I had to). By the time I was ready to transfer over my real time, Sir Vine was at lv15 and Aquape was at lv11.

Post-transfer, my team now consisted of Sarcos the Sandile, Ziggy the Scraggy, Dart the Croagunk, Rachna the Joltik, Selene the Murkrow, and Howitzer the Remoraid. I went through Route 3 and reached Nacrene City without much incident. Fought N and beat him easily (he never seems very difficult, except maybe at the end of the game). I entered the gym but then realized I could go fight some trainers near the Pinwheel Forest first so I did that.

After that was done, I went back to the gym and took it on. The trainers were all easy to beat, thanks to both Ziggy and Dart being fighting-types. Lenora, similarly, was also little trouble.

I'd like to point out at this point that some of the Pokemon I transferred over have egg moves that are a bit powerful for this point in the game. Namely Drain Punch, with 75 base power, on both Ziggy and Dart. With STAB and the added bonus of restoring HP, I almost feel like I'm cheating by having such strong moves. But eh, hopefully the difficulty will rise as the game goes on.

Anyway, I've just gone through Pinwheel Forest and reached Castelia City. Team stats and thoughts so far in the spoiler below.

Spoiler:
Ziggy / Scraggy, Male, Jolly, lv19
Ability: Moxie
Drain Punch, Faint Attack, Ice Punch, Dragon Dance
Thoughts: Very strong right now. Drain Punch is ridiculous and his other moves certainly aren't anything to laugh at either. MVP of this section of the game for sure. 10/10

Sarcos / Sandile, Male, Hasty, lv19
Ability: Moxie
Bite, Sand Tomb, Sand-Attack, Torment
Thoughts: If Ziggy was the MVP, Sarcos here felt like the LVP, mostly due to the fact that his defenses are awful. Quick Attack is his bane as it tends to knock him down by 1/4 or even 1/3 of his health. There haven't been many Psychic types for him to use Bite on, and Sand Tomb isn't a very good move due to low power and 85% accuracy. Can deal decent damage when he needs to, so it isn't like he's worthless or anything. 6/10

Rachna / Joltik, Female, Timid, lv20
Ability: Compoundeyes
Charge Beam, Bug Bite, Thunder Wave, Spider Web
Thoughts: Rachna is awesome with Charge Beam. It's never missed for me despite having 90% accuracy (I know Compundeyes helps with that), and then Sp. Attack boost kicks in a lot. I never really had a high opinion of bug-types other than Scizor and Heracross, but Joltik is proving to be a valuable team member (that's in large part due to the electric-typing, but Bug Bite still has its uses, even coming off the lower Attack stat). 8/10

Dart / Croagunk, Male, Adamant, lv20
Ability: Dry Skin
Drain Punch, Astonish, Work Up, Faint Attack
Thoughts: Sadly, Dart has been mostly overshadowed by Ziggy, who shares his fighting-type and two strongest moves (and gets STAB off Faint Attack, unlike Dart). They've got identical Speed and Attack stats right now, though Ziggy has better defenses. Hopefully Dart will start learning some new moves soon so he can form his own niche on the team, rather than being a second-rate version of one of the other team members. He hasn't been a bad Pokemon by any means, he just seems too similar to Ziggy right now. 7/10

Howitzer / Remoraid, Male, Quiet, lv20
Ability: Sniper
Water Pulse, Aurora Beam, Bubblebeam
Thoughts: It's nice to have an ice move this early on to take care of flying-types. Ziggy has Ice Punch, but I'm a bit hesitant to use him against a type that can hit him back with STAB super-effective hits. Other than that, Howitzer has felt like a pretty standard water-type thus far. Water Pulse knocks stuff out quickly, and the newly-acquired Bubblebeam knocks stuff out quicker. 8/10

Selene / Murkrow, Female, Naughty, lv19
Ability: Insomnia
Peck, Thief, Roost, Whirlwind
Thoughts: Selene could have been the MVP if she only had stronger moves. As it stands, she has the highest attacking stats on my team but lacks the moves to back it up. She tends to knock things into the red while the rest of my team is one-shotting opponents. Still, she is strong and can take a hit (or several). 8/10

Overall Team Thoughts: There's a lot of type overlaps here (three dark-types, two fighting-types) and I was a bit concerned that there would be some overlaps in niches on the team as well, but so far it's just been Ziggy and Dart. I've also got the Moxie ability on two Pokemon, and it seems like it could be useful, but most early trainers have so few Pokemon I haven't had a chance to try it out. I'm liking the team so far and looking forward to when they start evolving and getting more diverse in their movesets. In closing, Drain Punch is awesome and that is all.

Wow, that took a while to type up. Are people interested in reading all this stuff or should I try to cut down for future updates?

You didn't list anything that can use Fly so I suppose you can either pick a Flyer out yourself for your last team member, or list a couple Flyers you'd like to use and let someone in the thread pick one out.

Hmm... it's a shame his nature is Adamant, the Toxicroak I had on my Ones That Got Away SoulSilver challenge was a potent mixed attacker. I'd say that could be Dart's niche, but maybe not if his Sp.Atk is compromised... He can learn Nasty Plot though, right?

Are people interested in reading all this stuff or should I try to cut down for future updates?
More detail is always appreciated :) I like reading other people's thoughts. It makes me more interested in using certain Pokemon when I see other people enjoying them.

EDIT: forgot to mention, added all the new Challengers to the list. Enjoy your runs, people!

I'll edit this post when I have a list of Pokemon in my box that "got away" but I want to note that I probably have to list every legendary Pokemon I've ever caught (which is all of them up to Gen 3) to this list. I wasn't really a big user of any of them. I really don't think I ever used one except maybe Mew. Maybe.

Please keep the longer updates, really enjoyed reading that :)

Ghost Bike from Outter Space.
-Visited the Old Chateau.
-Cleared out Etrna's Galatic Base (something that obvious is NOT a hideout).
-Got my bike.
-Went back to Oreburgh Gate.
-Advanced onward to get the dowsing app from Dawn, then got the EQ tm (THIS EARLY *DROOLS*) and help the little girl with a Kadabra.
-Went through Mt Corronet.
-Arrived in Hearthome City.
-Did some stuff around the city.
-Took on Fantina's Gym.
-Defeated Fantina using WildThing's Confusion on Duskull, Anaconda's Fire Fang on Mismagius and Jaw's Faint Attack. Got the Shadow Claw TM and the Relic Badge.

Team Info
Spoiler:

Jaws/[email protected] Bell
Rash/Mold Breaker/Level 24/Male
Stats:73/77/62/44/42/55
Moveset:Faint Attack-Egg Move
Brick Break
Earthquake
Rock Tomb
Opinion:I....HAVE...THE POWER !!!Stats have greatly boosted ,and 77 attack scares EVERYTHING !!I forgot I had Mold Breaker, so when I was training against those Bronzor's and smashing them with EQ I wondered why none had levitate, and have literally just remembered Mold Breaker ! 2 moveset changes give Jaws EdgeQuake (Kinda), plus a very powerful attack in Brick Break , and Faint Attack kinda sweeps up what I don't already hit. Shell Bell rewards its power with regenerating health, good trade off IMO.9/10

Anaconda/[email protected] Claw
Brave/Rock Head/Level 24/Female
Stats:79/53/107/40/47/26
Moveset:Fire Fang
Ice Fang
Thunder Fang
Stealth Rock
Opinion:Not as effective this part. Still not much can hurt it, I mean 103 defence is insane, and the BoltBeam of Fangs hurts everthing, and what it doesn't gets crippled by Fire Fang. Rock Head is still yet to come in play but Quick Claw does help a lot, as it allows Anaconda to cripple things before she gets hurt. Really solid.7/10

Mrs Claus/[email protected]
Sassy/Vital Spirit/Level 24/Female
Stats:62/44/36/45/41/45
Moveset:Future Sight-Egg Move
Present
Thief
Opinion:I HATE IT !!! It learns no Decent TM (Grass Knot or Shadow Claw), it stats lack behind even WildThing, It's OHKO'd by Duskull !!! It just needs some major help. Why didn't I just give it Aurora Beam ?! 3/10

Food Inc/[email protected] Bell
Brave/Scrappy/Level 24/Female
Stats:85/59/61/33/47/53
Moveset:Return
Curse-Egg Move
Brick Break
Milk Drink
Opinion:I FORGOT SCRAPPY :'( ! Stat wise it got boosts where they were useful, which keeps her useful. Moveset wise it recieved Brick Break, which helps it to hit Steel and Rock types, and helps me a lot. Very Sturdy pokemon. 7/10.

Piranha/[email protected]
Lax/Swift Swim/Level 23/Female
Stats:67/59/61/55/46/33
Moveset:Water Pulse
Bite
Body Slam-Egg Move
Screech
Opinion:No change , still very good, hits hard on both fronts, no movese change, Stats have drastically changed, just a very dull part for it. 8/10.

WildThing/[email protected]
Careful/Leaf Guard/Level 24/Male
Stats:69/41/64/55/39/48
Moveset:Absorb
Confusion-Egg Move
Sleep Powder
Growth
Opinion:No moveset changes, good stats boosts, been usefull, apart from Bronzor, Bronzor walls him. Sleep Powder + Growth + Attack = Still best stratergy on the team. 8/10

Eep. Kinda forgot about updating heh heh.

SO! Here is my "long awaited" update, but this one is for firered. Diamond will probably come later today or tomorrow.

Briefing on team: Tentacruel, Hypno, Exeggcutor, Pidgeot and Primeape.

Started game, named self Golurk picked Squirtle and named her May. Did other pregame stuff. Caught female pidgey on route 1 and female Mankey on route 22. Named them Inara and Suki respectively. Took on my first "official" rival challenge (since I had my actual team members on it). Destroyed Gary with Inara. Gust was used to bring down his toad. Continued on til Pewter city, where Suki pwned throughout the gym. Continued on through Mt. Moon, where *GASP* there were ROCKETS! Took them down with ease, and picked up the dome fossil. Suddenly, Inara began to evolve!!! Moved on to Cerulean, destroyed Gary with my newly evolved Pidgeotto, both members of my team were around the 20's by now. Helped that wierdo Bill out, and went to the Gym so I could beast through it. (YAY for evolved pokes!) Then I went to the bike shop (what? 1,000,000,000 pokedollars?) Continued on down to Vermillion, headed over to route 11...and went crazy. For some reason, I decided I deeply cared about natures(?) and went on a drowzee catching spree...lol. Found a calm female, and named her Trelawney. Then i destroyed the S.S. Anne with said droxzee, along with that brat Gary. Got cut, (yay I can cut things! mwahaha) and went to take down L.T Surge, with my main man (girl) mankey (alliteration!) Claimed my bike (as rightfully so) headed to the the east, and journeyed through Rock tunnel, which surprisingly wasn't too horrible. Then, my path took a weird turn... After arriving in Lavender town, I went to Celadon, just to beat Team Rocket and get the Silph Scope. Trelawney is evolving! dun..dun... and so is Suki! dun..dun.. Got the tea (and a leaf stone for later), went back through Saffron to Lavender Town (got psychic aong the way), and took down the tower along with that jerk Gary. After gaining the pokeflute, I journeyed down route 12 avoiding as many trainers as possible. I arrived in Fuchsia, went to the Safari zone and once again went on a catching spree, for exeggcute. Caught a male one and named him Haymitch, who I trained on the cycling road, which I had saved for him. Then I took down koga after teaching Haymitch psychic, (he and Trelawney beasted). Inara evolved once again! dun.. dun. After beating Koga I caught myself a tentacool, who I named Emile and trained him up in the Pokemon Tower. Emile is evolving! Then I headed down to Cinnabar, where I am now kind of contemplating reviving the Kabuto which is kind of assigned to me. (It was supposed to be one of my original team members, but I asked for a switch since the majority of the game would be without over half of my team.)

DA TEAM

Spoiler:

Inara, Female, Level 37

Moves: Return, Featherdance, Wing Attack, Quick Attack Ability: Keen Eye Nature: Bashful
Thoughts: Probably the worst of my team, but only because I love my team so much! This may also be due to the fact that she is a very all-around kind of pokemon, and I prefer specialized pokemon... She also probably needs a revision to her moveset. 7/10
Stats:111/77/64/59/63/86

Suki, Female, Level 36

Moves:Cross Chop, Leer, Rock Slide, Karate Chop Ability: Vital Spirit Nature: Lonely
Thoughts: I'd always thought Primeape was a so-so kind of pokemon, but now I know how wrong I was! She hits very hard and very fast, since she is the fasted fighting type in the game I believe, her moveset is also very helpful, it only needs a little bit more tweaking. She rules! 9.75/10
Stats:98/96/50/51/61/90

Trelawney, Female, Level 36

Moves: Headbutt, Hypnosis, Poison Gas, Psychic Ability: Insomnia Nature: Calm
Thoughts: She is awesome, what a special defensive tank! She also has enough special attack to destroy what comes her way. I definitely need to improve her moves, but overall I love her. 8/10
Stats:119/57/64/64/108/66

Haymitch, Male, Level 37

Moves: Stun Spore, Reflect, Leech Seed, Psychic Ability: Chlorophyll Nature: Modest
Thoughts: He is very strong, for an unevolved pokemon. He is able to destroy opponents with psychic, and is very strategic because of his moveset. Speaking of which, that may drastically change. 7.75/10
Stats:102/35/68/62/49/40

Emile, Male, Level 30

Moves: Poison Sting, Supersonic, Acid, Surf Ability: Clear Body Nature: Mild
Thoughts: Very strong special attack-wise and special defense-wise, very bulky and surprisingly fast! I don't know a whole ton about him since he is fairly new to the team, but so far I like him a lot. He needs some help with his movepool for sure...

Keep the updates coming people! I've added Omn (belatedly) to the Challengers list.

GolurkIsDaBomb - get Giga Drain, Barrier and Ice Beam on that Tentacruel, stat! I had a Tentacruel on my first Sapphire Nuzlocke team, and she was a beast with that moveset (plus Surf, which obviously your Tentacruel already has).

Number of Pokemon: 4-6 Pokemon (so like what sammu did above, give four for sure and then two optional ones, if you will~)
Requirements: No two Pokemon with the same type, please. And also a surfer and flyer would be nice :) The bolded Pokemon are ones I want a lot and italics are ones I don't want so much, but feel free to ignore that xD

I'm not sure how many of these Pokemon I'll actually be able to get over to HG, but don't worry about that, if I find I can't get one I'll just ask for a replacement. Thank you~

you are beyond~

Because I am a jerk, your team consists of all italacized pokemanz!
And because I am even more of a jerk, the flyer and the surfer are the optional ones!

Team: Arbok Sunflora Ambipom Probopass
Optional: Salamence Blastoise

*If you really hate this team or have a problem or just really want to replace one of your official members with an optional, just tell me. Personally, I do find that the pokes that you are least inclined to tend to be the most rewarding when they kick butt, and the over-powered ones just make the whole thing less enjoyable. However, all these pokes are pretty strong...

Good Luck!

*As for my next update, that will be firered. I figure it's easier to just get that one out of the way and then post diamond.

:x

Anyways... I'm almost positive I can get all of those, but I'll have to double check in a minute. Bagon I'm certain about, as well as Sunkern obviously. Ekans I can get... And Aipom is in this game, yeah. So Squirtle and Nosepass I'll check real quick, but I think I have them xD

Thanks.... *grumbles*

EDIT: Alright, so Blastoise for sure won't work D: I don't have one in any of my games anywhere :\ So if I could have a different surfer that would be nice n.n And then I don't think I can get a Probopass in HG or a Nosepass anywhere anyways x.x
