We all know that age isn't a big factor in the Pokemon world, right?

Ash has been on his Pokemon journey for around 14 years, if I'm right, and he's still 10 years old.

10 years could easily of been 15 for all we know.

Funny thing is, I started playing when I was 8 :O.

But, no, i wouldn't let any 10 year old do such a thing. They'd have to stick with the game.

Eh, probably not. Not unless they had a really strong Pokemon to protect them. I mean, they need SOMETHING to protect them from the giant bees with spikes for hands and the flying dragon/serpent/fish things.

OMG NO WAY! I think that's awful! Regardless of the dangers, who just let's their kid leave home at 10? You haven't even gone through puberty yet...you don't know anything except for being a kid. You don't leave home then. Good luck.

It's such a silly concept. I wish you could be a little older than that in the games, like 18, much like a University thing. You're done school and you're ready to go on a Pokémon adventure.

Plus, sorry, no world is perfect. There are defects out there...scary ones. It's called Team Rocket...!!! Have fun. If it was Jessie and James...well then I might not be so scared, haha.

Anyway, no! They would go to a Pokémon school for years until they set foot on some journey!

Me? Not at all. I really don't understand why parents in the Poke world are okay with it, sending their children especially at such a young age out into the unknown. Other than the obvious hazards, what about school?

Sometimes I think parents in the real world are bad, but geez, seems like most parents in the Pokemon world are REALLY bad!
Why?

This is a very old topic, but it's still a question that can be answered so...

Probably not. irl Pokémon would be a lot more dangerous, some spit fire, others are venomous, some go after children to take them away into the depths of the unknown, etc. Maybe if the real world was as friendly as it can be to people in Pokémon....but it just isn't. :(

No. Pokemon is a fantasy world where bad guys can be stopped just by defeating them in a Pokemon battle. In real life, bad people are far more dangerous and I would not want a 10 year old child out in the wild. I wouldn't even want myself out there in this world, TBH.
