We still have Shigeru Miyamoto to recycle popular series well after they become awful, so it's all good.
Shut up, Mario Party 15 is going to be awesome! >_<

And I bet they will still keep making the Megaman games, even though he quit.

...Capcom has other great developers, so I'm sure they'll still be producing great games, he's just going to be producing great games with a different studio.

I heard about this 2 days ago. It's really not surprising considering how he came off in recent interviews. It's sad to see the creator of Megaman retire. Megaman Legends 3 will still continue though so I wouldn't worry about that. Here is a quote from Joveth Gonzalez at Capcom Unity.

"Please try not to freak out! Legends 3 is not canceled. There were already producers and directors working on the title and they will continue to work on the game as planned. Same goes for the Street Fighter franchise.
There are entire teams that actually create the Mega Man games. Capcom has been working hard on restructuring its operations over the past few years in order to build a development organization that is not dependent on any single individual. While Inafune will be missed, we can’t ignore the fact that there are teams and producers working on these Mega Man games already."

I'm going to disagree. The MegaMan series is still good. Look at MegaMan 9, 10, Zero 1-4, ZX, ZX Advent, and the upcoming MegaMan Legends.

As for Shigeru Miyamoto, he has too many series to name, but the main Mario games are always great (or good for Sunshine), and the Zelda series is always great as well.

Say whaaaaaaa-
But what's to happen to Megaman Legends 3?!

I was highly anticipating that.
It will be fine.

I bet they will still keep making the Megaman games, even though he quit.
Yeah, they will. None of Inafune's series will disappear. I just wanted to spread the news.

Actually, no one but he knows what he's going to do. He said in a follow up blog that he will be 'starting his life over' and with how he felt about the Japanese gaming market in general, he may not continue in gaming.
