Look at Charlotte's Web. The pig was her pet, but they were gonna eat it. I can see them eating a Miltank, spoink, or a Torchic. Just not on the show X3

They eat Pokemon and real animals, real animals do exist in the Pokemon world, they just aren't seen, seeing as African Elephants are mentioned in a few Pokedex entries, and also, in two of the Sinnoh myth stories, humans have eaten Pokemon too

Wouldn't it be 'Kentucky Fried Combusken' instead of Starly?

Anyway, I think most people in Pokémon world eat Rice as depicted in the animé and due to its Japanese heritage. Another food that they'll probably consume are things like berries due to their relatively common availability. I don't really think that people residing in the Pokémon world eat Pokémon due to the audience that the creators of Pokémon are aiming for. Most people don't want to see decapitated heads of cute creatures lying around on the floor and that stands for Pokémon.

I recall there being a restaurant in Celadon City, but it was busy in you couldn't order anything.

Maybe they all flock there to eat?

Also, an old lady in Celadon gives out Tea for humans, not Pokemon.

And on Two Island, it appears Bruno eats RageCanyBars, which are supposedly sold there and in Mahogany Town.

And the Pokedex says Miltank milk helps kids grow healthy.

The mother in the Johto games also makes a Cinnabar Island Burger and there's food in the fridge.

They sell edible sea weed in Slateport.

So, obviously a lot XD

Snover Snowcones! Mmmm.... :D

Click here for the best character generator EVER! I use this everyday to make characters for my short stories and it is truly one of a kind.
Character Creation for the Plot-First Novelist begins with a character center and then adds layers in a logical fashion, coming at character creation from a variety of angles—everything from how we perceive people in real life to how the character is (or isn't) impacted by the love of God. The result is something the plot-first novelist may've despaired of ever being capable of: living, fully realized, interesting characters who are a joy to write and memorable to read.

A quick Google search brought me to this somewhat informative article (if you could call it that) on the subject.

As for my opinion, eating Pokemon just doesn't seem right. If I was a trainer, I'd be a Pokemon Rights Activist. Now that I think of it, the PRA would probably want to ban Pokemon fighting. I'd be against Pokemon as food though. Simply because Pokemon are marvelous. Animals are too, but they'd kill each other in the wild anyway. Pokemon don't kill each other, I don't think... wow, now that I think about it, Pokemon as food makes just enough sense as animals as food... hmmmmm...

I'll get back to you on my opinion.
