In the U.S macy's thanksgivingday parade they had two 14 foot tall floats of reshiram and zekrom (spelling?) aswell as a giant pokeball balloon and you guessed it! A giant pikachu!

Assuming this is where general pokemon topics go I'd like to hear your oppinions and discussion on the topic.

I was suprised they jumed ahead to showing them this early but nonetheless happy for acknowledgement to people of how well the franchise is going.

Surprised to see they didn't choose more well-known Pokémon to accompany the famous Pikachu, but It's still very cool. ;)
That picture is fake, those aren't even floats. A video of the real floats can be found in this topic.

I jumped up and down like a little kid when I saw the floats this morning, and apparently this is the 10th year that Pikachu has been featured in the Macys parade. Good for you pikachu! 8D

They have been known for at least half a year in the USA, since the creation of the Black and White site, so I really don't see how they jumped ahead.

Because other well known pokemon aren't the mascots of the new games they are trying to promote. That was the whole purpose of their ride/float things.
