Milotic, because I personally feel that it is stronger, faster, and a defense type.

I love Gyarados so I'm gonna have to go with Gyarados. Most of my Pokémon games, you can find a [nearly always female] Gyarados in my PC box or in my team. Milotic is too much of a pain to get and Gyarados' high attack stat. suits mostly offensive battle style.

I find both of them to be respectable Pokémon design-wise and competitive-wise. If I had to choose one though, I'd prefer Milotic. I like its elegant look and the fact that it can put up a good fight at the same time is a plus.

Gyarados is a great Pokémon for being one of the originals, but I rarely use Gyarados as my own Pokémon.

Gyarados wins IMO with it's epicness and strength. It just looks really deadly and.. vicious.
Milotic wins the beauty. I remember at the first glance of this Pokemon, I immediately wanted her on my Team.

In the end, they're both excellent Pokemon.

Too be honest. I have to pick Milotic. Why? Let's just say I live in the Pokemon World and I kept a Majikarp as a pet in my tank or pond in my backyard. Give it a little time and it evolves into a Gyarados. LOL my life would suck. Milotic in the other hand won't rage and is not a grenade. Unless you some how tick it off.

I vote gyarados because...

1. Looks Cool
2. Kicks but in battle
3. He has been around since gen one, so he was one of my first Pokemon

Character Creation for the Plot-First Novelist begins with a character center and then adds layers in a logical fashion, coming at character creation from a variety of angles—everything from how we perceive people in real life to how the character is (or isn't) impacted by the love of God. The result is something the plot-first novelist may've despaired of ever being capable of: living, fully realized, interesting characters who are a joy to write and memorable to read.

Definitely Gyarados. He just radiates badassery. And Red Gyarados is probably the most famous shiny of all.
lol! Badassery... thats a new one. :P

Battle and Strategy wise, I go with Gyarados. I always prefer offense over defense, unless the defense is something to take note of (like blissey or shuckle). This is the single reason why I would prefer Gyarados over Milotic (keeping in mind that their speed stat is equal).

Gyarados, equipped with the right nature, item and moveset, is one helluvan OHKOer. The only downslide in its case is it is too vulnerable to electric types, and its defense stats are not very noteworthy; which makes it susceptible to OHKO moves itself.

I said: “That's what makes you an inferior Civilization”.

I said: "Then your choices will always be evil".

I never really had a liking towards Gyarados despite it being a really powerful Pokemon that lots of water trainers use. I also didn't care for its pre-evolution form, Magikarp because all you have to do is just get it to Lv. 20 and evolve it to its powerful form. There's no sense of accomplishment when you do that.

I prefer Milotic mainly because of the work you put into evolving it from Feebas. Trying to find Feebas, trying to find a Feebas that has a nature that likes beauty, feeing that Feebas lots of PokeBlocks that increase its beauty...

Getting a Milotic means something!
