One Dwindling Flame

Like a star shooting from the sky,
Such as a hurricane fading to a wind,
How a birds wings would refuse to fly,
Imagine a devout Christian who has sinned,
I have reached my point of end.

No more burdens for me now,
Lesser pain - I will take my bow,
Too much I had to take -
Too much from habitual fakes,
I have reached my final revelation.

A back - is all, within my iris,
Not one, can face another now,
Comprehension of repentance - is beyond your wit,
A flame - dwindles - to the golden grey of the twilight.

Don't believe you were popular that was just your interpretation,
No matter how our past is structured, I have reached my self abnegation.

Quick Synopsis

Old free verse poem, I rewrote parts of it for a re-release. It involves the speaker seeing their relations with their group of friends, fall before their eyes. The speaker displays annoyance and insolence in this manner, but winds into a state of denial. The self-abnegation is the lack of understanding, they know that the arguing and immaturity on the groups behalf will fall into future repair, but chooses not to believe, so that they can simple walk away, never to have to endure the reoccurring situation again.
