Soo, are you the type of person that resets their Pokemon games on a whim, or the type that gets so attached to their accomplishments that they have a hard time resetting the game at all? Or are you somewhere in the middle? Perhaps you reset your game once in a while, but you dump all of your pokemon into a storage box game or an unused handheld game? XD

I'll reset my Advance games sometime after I beat them (Just the E4 not the dex) but I end all of my good pokemon to SS & Platinum. My Ds games on the other hand I won't be reseting anytime soon as I've done too much just to throw all of it away.Although I do reset my Diamond from time to time I just can't get into playing it.

I rarely ever restart my games unless I quit for like, a long time and forget where I am when I am somewhere in the middle. But if I finish a game I never, ever restart. I'll just buy a new game.

I'm the type that resets every time I beat the game. It's a bad habit, really. I play for a bit after beating the elite 4 and/or completing my Pokedex... but I get bored, so, I just start a new game and start from scratch.

I tend to restart the games when I haven't played the games for months due to school. If I forget where I left off the last time I played, it confuses me, therefore it's time to hit that restart button. lol

I have storage games and playthrough games. None of my GB or GBC games are storage games though, because I don't have the means to trade between older games. But overall, I'm in the middle. I dump my good Pokemon into storage and then just restart. That's probably how I know TM locations in Hoenn like the back of my hand, haha. I restarted RSE soooo many times.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I only reset my games when I need to to start a new game, and when I do I usually transfer my good Pokemon over to another game first.
^ This. I usually transfer over my main team and legends to Pearl, then restart.

The only game I will NEVER restart is my old Pearl version. It was the first Pokemon game I was actually serious about and didn't over train one Pokemon or catch everything I saw. I've accomplished so much, and all my good Pokemon are on it. My others, though... I've restarted Heartgold 3 times, Sapphire 4 times, Ruby 5 times, FireRed 1 time, Platinum 3 times, and Red 6 times.

I don't restart my games unless I'm bored and feel like having another go at the game. The only games where I don't restart is if I have some good Pokemon raised in that game; if I have to restart it, I simply transfer the Pokemon I want to keep over to another game.

Once I start racking up a lot of accomplishments on a game, I typically will not reset. I cannot fathom the idea of losing all of that.

Only when I become really bored.
Sometimes I feel that way too, and I have these long debates about it. But there are some games that I refuse to start over; for example Platinum, Heartgold, Leafgreen, and Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. And it is for one simple reason, its too much to let go (and the games are really long to complete). I worked so hard on those games that I will cry if something happened to the saved files. Now on the other hand the others I will start over if I get too bored. Like I started over my diamond version in May and just finished last Thursday lol.
