So about an hour ago I was talking to my sister about how we watched Pokemon as kids. Suddenly I had the most random question come to mind and we couldn't exactly figure out the answer... So here it is....

What would happen if you tried to throw a pokeball at a Snorlax to catch it and it swallowed the pokeball... Then the ball activated inside of it. I mean... ok so it tries to take Snorlax in... but the ball is inside so would the ball try to take itself in also??? Would it collapse in onto itself killing the Snorlax??? What would happen???!!!

I said it was random didn't I? LOL

This scenario actual happened in Episode AG075, when Sullivan threw a Master Ball at a Whiscash and the Whiscash swallowed it. Then it jumped back into the water and went about it's business. So to answer your question nothing would happen, probably just digest like any other thing.

This also happened in another episode with May's Munchlax. It got caught while the Pokeball was in it's stomach.

This is pretty much what I was about to answer.

This thread doesn't really look like it will generate more discussion. It seems that your question has been answered and therefore this thread doesn't need to stay open any longer.
