Journal #1 Of Wifi Battlers Nuzlocke Crystal Challenge! Enjoy
Spoiler:
I was introduced to the world of Pokemon by the Legendary Prof. Oak. after setting the time, naming myself FJ, getting my pokegear, and learning how to use it (for the nth time) I headed over to Prof. Elm's place and picked my starter.
His name is Tots, the Totidile. Pretty epic little dude. Hope i don't lose him
a Five minute grind on route 29 (thanks to super speed) and Tots is level 10.
Went into Cherrygrove, got a tour of the city, and got a nifty little Map upgrade for my Pokegear! yay!
After a quick walk, I got to Mr.Pokemon's house and received a Pokdex from Prof. Oak! lucky, huh?
Then, BAM! Call from Prof Elm, and he seemed pretty desperate. So I Speed (Lol) walk all the way to cherrygrove. But as soon as i entered route 29, A red-headed kid challenge me to a battle.
RIVAL BATTLE:
My Team: ??? Team:
Tots Level 10 Chickorita level 5

Needless to say (but i will say it anyways) Tots destroyed the poor grass type. 3 hits with scratch, Tots barely getting a scratch in return, and it's down for the count.

Now headed back to Prof. Elm's lab, where he was being questioned by a Cop. Turns out the red hair kid i fought actually stole Chickorita from Prof. Elm! Luckily, the red headed kid told me his name. He calls himself B, for some reason.

The cop leaves after i told him B's name, leaving Me and Prof. Elm. He asks what Mr.Pokemon wanted, and i gave him the Mysterious Egg. And Elm flips out.

I miss most of his rant about discoveries and all that, but i did catch him talking about the Pokemon Gym Challenge. This is what I've been waiting for! After a quick safe, saying good bye to mom and receiving a couple of pokeballs from Elm's helper, I head out back to cherrygrove for the 3 time today.

Healed up Tots in the center at Cherrygrove, and quickly headed towards Violet City.

On Route 36, I grabbed an Antidote someone left on the ground.
After battling some no name trainers I finally reached Route 31. And the first opportunity to get a new member for my team.
And I was pleasantly surprised to see a level 5 Bellsprout.

After a quick battle, Madebelle the Bellsprout, is the newest member of my team.

Breezing my way through the Last Bug trainer on the road, i happily entered Violet City. After healing up my team at the Pokecenter, and buying some potions at the pokemart, i decided that Madebelle needed some training.

I headed to Bellsprout Tower and unfortunately, my first Encounter was with a Rattata. I threw a Pokeball at the thing, and named it Fodder. After all, that all he was good for.

After MadeBelle reached level 13, I Decided it would be in my best Interest to reach the top of the tower and battle the head Monk.

Making my way to the top, I was pleased when Tots Learned Water gun and, after a quick healing trip to the pokecenter, Met up with my Rival, once again. No battle this time, however. B Fled using a Escape rope and All that was left was the Head Monk.

Which was extremely underwhelming. I didn't even have to switch Tots out, and he had two Bellsprout!

Although, Flash and some easy exp was good reward. After all, Falkner the bird master was my next Opponent.

Madebelle, being at a big disadvantage, was chosen to sit this battle out, Safe in my PC. I entered the Gym and battled the two no name trainers and quickly healed Tots. Saving, I Challenge Falkner. the battle for my first Gym badge was underway!
My Team: Falkner's Team:
Tots level 16 Pidgey Level 7
Fodder level 3 PIdgeotto Level 9

To lead off this battle Tots manages to get a crit and OHKO Falkner's PIdgey with scratch. way too start, eh?

However, Falkner still has one pokemon left. and it can be a annoyance at times. luckily it wasn't one of those times. I used rage and Quickly Koed the bird. And I won my First Gym Badge!

Current Team:
Tots Lvl. 16
Moves:
Scratch
Leer
Rage
Water Gun
Madebelle Lvl. 13
Moves:
Vipewhip
Growth
Wrap
Fodder Lvl.3
Moves:

Journal # 2. Sorry, i took one photo at the beginning and forgot to take more photos until 3/4ths of the way through!
Spoiler:
After my Glorious Victory over Falkner, I headed over to the Pokecenter to heal up and to get Madebelle on my team. However, Elm's Helper ( i really should learn his name) Was there at the counter, holding the Mysterious egg i gave him. Curious I walked up and talked to him.

Turns out, Elm wanted him to give ME the Mysterious egg, since it won't hatch without constant interaction with pokemon. So, without much of a choice, i received the egg, and he quickly dashes. With the egg in my bag, i headed out towards route 32.

On Route 32, i eagerly headed into the grass, hoping for a new member of my team...
However, it turned out to be a wooper, and i already had a water type pokemon. I decided to let her go, with much sadness.

I Switched Madebelle to the front of my team, and decided to challenge all the trainers on the bridge, since She had the type advantage.

She easily sweeped all the trainers, and learned sleep powder! That's definitely going to help me. Battling some more trainers, and passing by a weird salesmen trying to sell me a slowpoke tail, i entered the Pokecenter to heal up my team.

also met up with Frieda, behind the pokecenter. she was nice enough to give me a Poison Barb, not that it would do me much good right now.

Rock cave would of been worrying, if i didn't had Tots and Madebelle. With both of them on my side, i strode into the cave intent on getting though and possibly adding a new member to the team...

And turns out to be another Wooper....Great. I quickly Koed the thing, just to amuse me.

Once again, Madebelle is leading the charge, since most of the pokemon in this cave is weak to grass types.

And once again, Madebelle proofed her worth in the cave. Battling all the trainers without having to be switched out or healed. It was a close call with Vulpix though, but sleep Powder quickly was becoming my favorite move on her.

In the mean time, she managed to learn PoisonPoweder! She is quickly becoming the support of my two man team.

After one quick battle outside the cave, I finally entered Azela town. However, things are a bit suspicious... All the Slowpoke are gone! and men in black clothing are swarming around the city. i smell a plot!

After heading to the town Figure head, Kurt, and after healing my team, I learned that Team rocket had taken over the well! Kurt quickly raced towards the well, and I right behind him.

And upon my entrance to the cave, i learned that Kurt had hurt his back... figures. So i was left to battle the rockets by myself.

Not that they were much of a challenge for Tots. he quickly sweeped them.

However, After the second battle, with the Rockets, Tots began to evolve!

Tots, the Crocanaw, Has arisen!

After healing him of poison and giving him a potion, All that was left was the Rocket leading this expedition.

After battling the last grunt, who was a little bit stronger then the rest, Team Rocket quickly fled.

Kurt quickly escorted me home, and to thank me, gave me a Lure ball and a promise to make balls for me when ever he can. Cool!

Now, I headed over to the Pokecenter and healed up my pokemon. The next step, I decided to finally challenge Bugsy, the Bug Expert, to a battle.

(FORGOT TO TAKE A PIC OF BUGSY! SO SORRY!)

My Team:
Tots level 19
Madebelle Level 18
Fodder Level 3

Bugsy's Team:
Metapod Level 14
Kakuna Level 14
Scyther Level 16

To start things off, i sent out Madebelle, knowing she can handle the two Cocoons without much of a problem. A couple sleep powders, a few growths, and a few vinewhips, and Madebelle quickly swept them up and blew them aside.

Scyther, however is a whole 'nother story. If given the chance, Scyther could spell certain doom for my team.

I decided, to keep Madebelle out, hoping to knock out Scyther with sleep powder.

Madebelle got hit with quick attack, but managed to hit Scyther with sleep powder! afterwards, I sent out Crocanaw and scratched Scyther to death.

After 6 Scratches, The cursed Scyther finally went down, and with no casualities!

And Now i have my Second Badge!

Current Team:
Spoiler:

Tots The Croconaw. Level 20

Moves:
Scratch
Leer
Rage
Watergun

Madebelle the Bellsprout. Level 19

Moves:
Vinewhip
Growth
Poison Powder
Sleep Powder

Fodder the Rattata. Level 3

Gonna take a shot at my first Nuzlocke Challenge (first official one, at least).

I posted this on the Nuzlocke forums too, but I decided I might as well post it here too.

Anyways, welcome to Matt's Cynical Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke!

Rules:
  • 1) If it faints, it dies.
  • 2) Only catch the first Pokemon on each route/area.
-This rule is nullified if a shiny Pokemon is found.
  • 3) No duplicate Pokemon may be caught.
-If the first Pokemon in an area is a duplicate, you have two more chances to find a different one. Otherwise, the area is closed.
-If a Pokemon dies and another of the same species/evolution line is found later on, the duplicate rule still applies.
  • 4) No repels!
  • 5) No buying items.
-Before the E4, buying items will be allowed, however.
-The purchase of PokeBalls is limited to 3 per shop.
  • 6) Nickname every Pokemon caught.
  • 7) Legendary Pokemon cannot be captured nor used.

I WOULD do a comic, but there's one tiny little minor insignificant detail stopping me. I have absolutely no artistic talent what-so-ever! :V So! Screenshots it is then!

Also, implied cursing runs rampant here; ye be warned.

Spoiler:

Journal 3, Enjoy!
For those who care, the rules I'm using is below:
1. If it faints, it's "dead". Release or deposit the "dead" pokemon.
2. Only one Pokemon per area. Ex. Route 24, Goldenrod city, Ruin of Alph, etc.
3. No Duplicates of Pokemon. No exception
4. All updates most be posted in journal/story like way.
5. No trading Pokemon, be it in game or with another person. If trade is required to evolve, then it is acceptable.
6. No using of daycare in any game.
7. Challenge is won when the Elite four is beaten. For G/S/C and Soul Silver and Heart Gold, Challenge is won when Red is beaten. For Firered and LeafGreen, Challenge is won when Elite four is beaten for the second time.

Spoiler:
After beating Bugsy, i went to the pokecenter and healed up my team. Since nothing of interest is left in this town, I decided that the next step was to travel to Goldenrod City.

Imagine my surprise when B comes barreling down the street and starts interrogating me about Team Rocket. After I told him, quite smug, that I was the one that scattered the rats, he scoffed. Then Challenged me to a battle.

RIVAL BATTLE #2
My Team:
Tots level 20
Madebelle 19
Fodder 3

B's Team:
16 Gastly
15 Zubat
16 Bayleef

It was an extremely easy battle. Madebelle used sleep powder, And Gastly was knocked out cold. I ust Growth 5 times, then vine whipped his Gastly into submission.

His other two pokemon was ended in much the same way, and I was once again Victorious over B.

After some (not-so) nice words, B left, quickly entering the forest. Not one to be left behind, I followed his lead.

Much to my dismay, however, the road was block. By a tree. How in the world was that possible when my Rival just passed through? Talking to the nearby kid, he told me that he lost his Farfetch'd somewhere in the forest. He also mentioned that The Farfetch'd can cut trees.

So I quickly offered to find the pokemon, hoping to use this to my advantage. The boy quickly said yes. So using a repel, i quickly looked for the bird.

Finding the Farfetch'd wasn't that hard. What was hard was getting the damn thing to move towards where the boy was. After going around in circles for hours, i finally managed to push the thing in the direction i wanted him to go. But Before i could get back to the kid, my repel wore off, and A Venonat appeared.

Deciding quickly that i wanted her on my team, i threw my only great ball, afraid of actually attacking her less i accidentally K.O her.

Damn it.

So i tossed pokeball after pokeball hoping to capture Venonat. and all of them failed. Saving my last ball, I sent out fodder, hoping it can do some damage without KOing her.

After Fodder failing to attack her four times and getting nearly K'Oed, Fodder manage to get a crit Tackle, and lower Venonat's HP enough to secure her Capture.

Zen the Venonat is my Newest member of my team! Yes!

Now heading back where the kid was, i was surprised to see what looked like his boss giving the kid a new one for losing his Farfetch'd.

However, the Boss wasn't ungrateful. He gave me his HM Cut as a reward and left with the kid and pokemon in tow. Not my actual plan i had in mind, but this works too. Teaching Tots Cut (With much pain in my heart) I finally removed the blockage.

The rest of the trip out of the forest was uneventful besides a battle or two.

On Route 34, i quickly battled all the trainer there. None of them really gave me any challenge but The exp was worth it.

Especially since Madebelle Managed to evolve!

(Forgot to take a picture in my happiness)

Madebelle the Weepinbell has Arisen!

With my happy bordering insane mind, i strutted into Goldenrod.

My first priority was to heal my pokemon. After that, i headed to the department store to buy some great balls. after all, i have a possible team member waiting for me on route 34!

And the First Pokemon to pop up was Drowzee. And I Immediately wanted her.

A Scratch and a great ball was all it took for her to be mine.

Hypnotist The Drowzee, joined my team! that's two in one journal!

The first thing i did after catching Hypnotist was to depoist Fodder. Then I decided that Zen and Hypnotist needed some training. setting back out to route 34, i grind those two into fighting machines. However, The Egg in backpack, not wanting to be forgotten, decided to hatch. I nicknamed the Togepi that came out pi and deposited him.

Zen was first since she was the weakest. I had to deploy the switch technique so it can get exp without getting murdered. After level 14, she finally was able to train by herself and made her training much faster.

Hypnotist, however, was trained against other trainers from route 35 and trainers from the gym. I also taught her Thunder Punch and FIre Punch, just so she can hit most types for decent damage. With that, I quickly head over to the gym and challenged Whitney to a battle.

My Team:
Hypnotist level 20
Tots 23
Madebelle 21
Zen 20

Whitney's Team:
Clefairy 18
Miltank 20

Hypnotist was sent out first against Clefairy. Hypnotist used Hypnosis and the pink fairy was in dream land. Hypnotist proceeded to fire puch the thing until it was knocked out.

Miltank, however, didn't like being put to sleep. it rolled out and Hypnotist keep on missing until...

Grief Stricken I sent out Madebelle and managed to put the tank to sleep. I used growth 4 times and then Vinewhiped it to Unconsciousness.

I had won. I have my third badge. but at what cost?

sorry, don't feel like doing current stats. will do it next time though. At the being of the post too!

1. If a Pokemon Faints, its dead, release it.
2. You can only catch/recieve one Pokemon in each Area. A town is one area, a route is one area, a cave is one area, etc. Should you fail to catch a Pokemon for any reason (other than game corruption) than too bad.
3. You must nickname all of your Pokemon (optional, but highly reccomended)
4. No catching legendaries.
5. Trading is disallowed, but the reasons following this clause are allowed. Egg trading is okay, same thing with Pokemon that can't have eggs. (optional) Trading simply for the purpose of evolution is perfectly OK.
That's what I'm doing for my nuzlocke challenge on White~

Also, sense I've started my challenge already...

Hey. I accidently restarted my Platinum Nuzlocke, after not updating in a while, so I'm gonna do an Emerald with the same rules.

Well, here I go.

Spoiler:
I started off with a male character, naming myself Gage. I went through all the boring beginning stuff and picked Mudkip as my starter. I named him Poseidon and continued my journey.

After talking to Prof. Birch, I decided to go to find May. I fought a few Pokemon on Route 101, because I had gotten Poseidon off that route. After leveling up to Lvl. 9 I ran up to May (finding no Pokemon on Route 103. Yay!) and battled her. Poseidon beet her Treecko up easily. We walked back down to Prof. Birch's lab to talk to him.

He gave us each a PokeDex and five Pokeballs. Poseidon and I continued on our journey. We wandered up into Route 103, finding a Male Wurmple with Impish Nature. I named him Dem and trained him up to level 7. He evolved into a Cascoon.

We continued onto Route 102 and demolished each and every person. I was expecting a Zigzagoon to pop up, but to my surprise, it was a Seedot! Mudkip weakened it with tackle and I threw the PokeBall. One, two. . . and THREE! I caught it! After listening to the triumphant song for a minute, feeling pretty smug, I saw it was a female. I wanted to name it Nuzlocke, but I guess beggers can't be choosers. I named her Locke. She had a Bashful nature. Cool.

After helping my good-for-nothing father with Wally, I set off onto Route 204, immediately running to the wild grass. I grinned as a Tailow popped up. Quickly catching her, I named her Low. She had a Sassy Nature. Not the best, to me, but okay.

Battleing all the trainers, Poseidon was boosted up to Lvl. 13, Dem up to Lvl 10, with him evolving into Dustox, Low, up to Lvl. 10 from 4, and Locke, up to Lvl 12 from lvl 3.

I came to Petalburg Forest and defeated the Shroomish I found. I deafeated everything in the forest up 'till this stupid fat dude who asked if I had seen any Shroomish. A dude in red tights ran up and fatty made me fight him. I beat him with a OHKO by Poseidon. Good ol' Poseidon. I continued on and battle a stupid dude with two Nincada. I thought it would be easy. Man was I wrong. They almost defeated Locke, so I sent out Dem, which cost him his life. R.I.P Dem. With ALL CAPS RAGE, I deafeated him with Poseidon.

I left the forest and saved.

1. If a Pokemon Faints, its dead, release it.
3. You can only catch/recieve one Pokemon in each Area. A town is one area, a route is one area, a cave is one area, etc. Should you fail to catch a Pokemon for any reason (other than game corruption) than too bad.
4. You must nickname all of your Pokemon (optional, but highly reccomended)
7. Change the battle style to SET. (optional)
Starting with Soul Silver. Have horrible art skills, and no way of screenshots sorry =\. So this shall be told in story form!

Chapter 1: A New Beginning
Spoiler:

Our Hero, Erik, is an 18 Year old teenager. Standing at about 5'11" with an average athletic build. His hair is a Dark Brown and is short on the sides and in the back. While the top is somewhat lengthy, just to the point where he can spike the front. He usually wears jeans with plain colored shirts or cut offs. Pretty friendly and spontaneous. Always looking for a way to Challenge himself.
As this adventure starts out, it's a quiet, peaceful day in New Bark Town. A usual day. And as we look closer, we see the Hero relaxing on the sofa while watching a re-run of his favorite documentary. "Tale of the Lost One." It tells of a story of a once young individual who once set sail on a journey of his own to become Pokemon League Champion. On his way he heard of a cave called Mt. Silver where elite trainers go to train and reside. And talks of a legendary Pokemon who lives there but no one has yet to find proof. After a few attempts at the League ending in disaster, he went on to Mt. Silver to train. But was never seen again. And over time, residents who lived near Mt. Silver either disappeared or left the place.
As the story wraps up, Erik mumbles to himself, "I will travel to Mt. Silver and find him. To meet my idol, and show the world I found him, would be the story of the century. I need a party."
Over the course of a few weeks, he saved up money to hopefully buy some Pokeballs and go catching for his first Pokemon. His mother quickly caught on and had a meeting with Professor Elm.
"He's really set on this journey Professor."
"What would this Journey consist of doing then Ms?"
"He wants to set sail and become Pokemon League Champion. And set out to search for the Lost Trainer at Mt. Silver."
"Yeah, just like every other trainer out there. They all started on their own. What makes him so different? There's nothing in it for me anyway. Sorry, but I got other things to do." As he turned around to sit down at his computer Erik's mother had no other choice.
"Just think, if he ended up finding the lost trainer. How much publicity you would receive saying you started him on his journey."
Professor Elm froze in his tracks as thoughts ran through his head. She's right...the news...the press...the publicity! I can't pass this up. "Fine. I'll help him out. Expect a call sometime, I'll have something ready for him."
"Thank you! I really appreciate this Profes-"
"BUT! There's something that has to come out of this when or if he fails. If he fails," He turns around, "you both leave New Bark Town. Now get out of here."

Later that day...

"Mom I'll be back. I'm going to head to Cherrygrove and chill with Josh for a bit. I'll be back by 10. Got a big day ahead of me tomorrow." Erik said coming down the stairs.
"What's going on tomorrow?" His mother asked.
"I don't have time to tell you right now I'll explain tomorrow."
"Ok, be safe!"
As he walks out the door she rushes to the phone and dials the Professor's number.
"...Hello?"
"Professor please tell me you have something. He's planning on leaving tomorrow I'm afraid."
"You're lucky, I do. Send him over first thing in the morning." *Click*

The next day...

Erik wakes up in his bed to goes to his daily routine. He goes and makes breakfast, but this time makes some for his mom. As he finishes up he says, "Mom, I'm going to shower and do a few things. I want to talk to you after."
"Ok, I'll be down here like usual haha."
He continues upstairs and grabs some clothes, then proceeds towards the shower and takes one. Stepping out he looks out the window and sees the neighbor girl playing with her Marill. "Not much longer buddy, I'll have one of my own." He goes back into his room and pulls out his back pack. He starts packing his essentials. Personal Hygiene, clothing, etc. Grabs his extra money sitting on his desk and looks at the Pokeballs laying there. 6 of them. Then looks up and see a little of Mt. Silver in the distance. My idol awaits me.

"Erik!" He hears his mother yelling for him."
"Professor Elm just called, he wants to see you!"
Odd, the phone didn't ring at all "Be right there!"

As he walks to the Professors lab, he starts pondering on why he wanted him. Erik enters and Professor Elm greets him.
"Erik! Just the man I wanted to see. I have something I want to ask from you."
"Yeah?" Erik asked, confused.
"I have this friend, Mr. Pokemon is what we call him. Simply because everything he collects and researches is related to Pokemon. Anyway I digress, he just recently had a discovery. Probably some stupid Pokemon egg again, and he wants me to look into it. I don't have the time to retrieve the egg nor does he have time to send it. So I'm asking you if you would kindly go get it for me? You don't have to worry about running into wild Pokemon. I have one just for you. It's over there on the table. Came across it one day and you sprang in my mind." He points towards a table towards the end of the room. "It's yours.
"Mine? As in...keeps?"
"Yes, I mean if you don't want it you're more then welcomed to put it down and continue on your day and I'll find someone else to do this for me."
"NO, no, no, no. I'll take it. Which Pokemon is it?"
Before Professor Elm had time to spit out the name he heard the ball release, followed by excitement.
"NO ****ING WAY! IT'S A ****ING CHIKORITA! Already got a name planned out for you. Princess. Yeah." As a smile grew on his face he picked her up.
"Glad to see you like her. Try walking with her outside of her Pokeball, maybe she'll grow to like you faster and more."
"Thanks Professor! I owe you."

He hurries home to his mother and shows her. She starts to tear up with excitement.
"Mom what's wrong?"
"I know you're planning on going to Mt. Silver and what not. So I decided to ask Professor Elm if he could help you out somehow. And he did. Got you your favorite Pokemon. I'm so happy and proud of you."
Erik gets up and hugs his mother. "Mother you helped me. I will not let you down. I promise you."
He says his final goodbyes and sets off towards Mr. Pokemon's house. Before he exits, the Professor runs out and yells for him.
"Erik! Wait!" He finally catches up. "Mr. Pokemon lives a little North of Cherrygrove City. It's a little path that veers off to the right. Here's my number in case you get lost."
"Thanks again Professor, I won't let you down. I'll be back soon!"
He enters the Route for the first time with a Pokemon...

Is it okay if I change my Nuzlocke challenge to Pokemon Red? I want to because my Pokemon White game disappeared.

If I can, here's the rules I'll be using:

5. No duplicates, unless the first one you got of the same species faints.

Okay! So it's been quite a while since I've been on Pokecommunity, and I'm back and in the middle of a Nuzlocke on Emerald! I ended my Random challenge that I'm too lazy to take out of my signature, and now I'm busy Nuzlocking emerald! I'm playing a physical copy of the game so I'll just have a text-based log. I'm playing with the obvious one poke per area, releasing if it dies, and no duplicates.

So, we pick up as I am in Fallarbor town, and I have just found a new companion - Kronk the Koffing. I've never used a Koffing, so I decide it'll be interesting to try one out! As I proceed to train him, I encounter a Swablu! I proceed to catch him and name him Castor. I have trained Kronk up a bit, but Castor is still waiting to be used! I am about to enter the moon-cave-whatever (it's been a while xD), and proceed with the adventure! here's where we're at team-wise.

Oh, and how do I do one of those spoiler things? That's be nice to cut down on text clutter.

My team:

Kronk the Koffing - Level 22

Astra the Pelipper - Level 29

Castor the Swablu - Level 16

Orwell the Combusken - Level 29

Saturn the Alakazam - Level 29

Just put [ spoiler ] at the beginning of your text and [ / spoiler ] at the end. Do it without the gaps though.

Hey all~! It's been a loooong time since I've been on Pokecommunity, but I've recently started my FIRST EVER NUZLOCKE on Ruby, so I thought I'd keep a small log on it here to keep track of my progress. I'll be using an actual copy of Ruby that I dug out of the grave, since emulators always tempt me to cheat. :P Okay, on to the update:

Name: Mei
Game: Ruby
Time: 10:06
Badges: 1/8

The Rules:
Spoiler:

~Catch only the first Pokemon you see per area. The only exception is when that Pokemon is a duplicate. In that case, waiting until a new one appears is allowed.
~If a Pokemon faints, it's dead. Instead of releasing, put it in the box, where it will remain untouched.
~No trading for 'Mons. Exception when trading for evolution.
~No running away from wild Pokemon. Whatever you run into, you must defeat it, no matter what.
~The usage of items outisde of battle is forbidden. Exception would be during the Pokemon League.
~No legendaries are allowed. Catching them is okay, but you may not use them in battle.

The Beginning:
Spoiler:

~Started up the game, named myself Mei.
~Did all that introductory stuff at the beginning. Yawn.
~Saved Prof. Birch from the Zigzagoon, and picked Treecko. It's a girl! :D
~Leveled Kiwi all the way to Lv. 10. Taking no chances here, guys.
~Turns out I was right, since Brendan nearly got me with a crit. Scratch with Torchic. Darn thing.
~A few Pound attacks later, Brendan was defeated and I was happily on my way to lab. I named my trusty sidekick Kiwi, and finally got some Pokeballs.
~Caught the first member of the Mei Crew, Bits the Zigzagoon. No surprise, since anyone who's ever played R/S/E knows that those little buggers are EVERYWHERE.
~Headed up to Routes 102 and 104, where I caught Bandit the Poochyena and Ken the Wurmple.
~Raised all the new members up to Lv. 10 to match Kiwi, and Ken evolved into a Cascoon and then a Dustox. Darn. I was hoping for a Beautifly, but oh well.
~Beat all the trainers, and Kiwi leveled up to Lv. 12. Reached Petalburg City, where we helped Wally catch his first Ralts. How DOES he find that Ralts on his first try, when it takes me ages to find just one? Lucky kid.
~Route 105 brought me Pierre the Wingull. Yayz! Leveled him to Lv. 12, along with the other members.
~Caught Pippa the Shroomish at Petalburg Forest. Hurray! Just what I was hoping for. Raised her to match the others as well.
~Fought my way through Petalburg Forest, and saved the Devon Dude from the weird guy in red. He gives us a Great Ball as reward.
~Reached Rustburo City!

The First Gym and The Cave of Misfortune:
Spoiler:

~After healing, we head to Route 116 where I catch Razr the Nincada and Whisp the Whismur at Rusturf Tunnel.
~I grind the team one more level to 15, just to ensure victory at Roxanne.
~Roxanne is easily defeated with the collaboration between Kiwi and Pierre. Pierre OHKOed Geodude. Nosepass proved more troublesome with its Rock Tomb, and we had to switch to Kiwi, who killed it with a few Absorbs.
~After beating Roxanne, we see that the Devon Dude from before gets robbed (again!), and so of course I have to help him once more...~Chased the guy in red to the Tunnel, where Pierre swiftly gets rid of him. Turns out he stole Peeko, Mr. Briney's Wingull as well.
~The Devon Dude gives us ANOTHER Great Ball, and he takes us to the third floor of the Devon building to meet the President, who asks us to deliver some letter and goods to Steven and Capt. Stern. He thanks us by giving us a Pokenav (yay!)
~After that, Mr. Briney decides to give us a free ride to Dewford, and off we go!
~Reached Dewford Town, where we healed and headed to Granite Cave.
~Caught Draculetta the Zubat. I place her in the box for now, as a backup.
~I proceed to grind the crew while traveling through the cave, particularly Pierre and Ken. Their flying moves will help me out a lot with Brawly. Kiwi evolves into a Grovyle.
~Reach Steven, and we deliver the Letter. He gives us the TM for Steel Wing. I go back down the long way, continuing to grind. All is well, until....
~Tragedy strikes. We lose Pierre to a crit. Tackle from an Aron. NOOOOO!!!! R.I.P, Pierre :(
~After suffering our first loss, I'm much more careful and manage to get out of the cave without any other casualties. I rush to the PokeCenter, where I decide to take out Draculetta to make up for my lack of a flying type.
~I head back to the dreaded cave, and only stay on the first level. I grind Draculetta to match that of the rest of team, praying that she'll learn a flying move soon.
~I decide to grind them all to Lv. 20, to make sure we don't lose anybody else. I figured that since the whole team was around Lvs. 16-18, we could handle the monsters of the upper floor. I couldn't be more wrong.
~Bandit dies from a 5-time Arm Thrust from a Makuhita. Not only was it super effective, it also happened to be a CRITICAL HIT. This loss was hard on me. I was really hoping for a Mightyena. R.I.P, Bandit. :(
~After this, I just stay away from the upper levels completely when grinding the rest of the team. I hate Granite Cave now. In a single day, I've lost two precious teammates in its dark jaws.
~I manage to raise everyone to Lv. 20 without any other losses. Brawly, here we come!

So we meet again, Pokecommunity Challenge section viewers! We are now on our way to Fortree City! Let us catch up on what has happened since I last left off.
And thank you Espeonrules for showing me how to do spoilers!
Spoiler:
So I proceeded to train Kronk and Swablu up quite a bit, until Kronk was up and even with my other members. We then went into the moon-shine-cave-whatchamacallit place, and encountered Team Magma and Aqua stealing Cozmo's meteorite! Being a curious little kid, I sat and watched and interfered with these adult's business. After that, I know that the guys blocking the path to the volcano will be clear, so back through Firey path we go! Kronk got a good workout on these guys, and I recovered the Meteorite for Cozmo. I dropped down the route that leads to Lavaridge, healed up, and went to the gym! After only one mishap, and fighting every trainer, i encounter Flannery. her first three pokemon are no problem, but out comes Torkoal, whom I believed would not be difficult. Kronk is ready to Sludge Torkoal to pieces, but Torkoal uses Overheat. One overheat might not have KO'd him, but sadly, it was a critical hit. Kronk had fallen. Orwell followed by avenging his fallen ally valiantly, and the badge was mine. After this, I went through the desert, caught Enigma the Trapinch, and began my journey back to Petalburg to face Norman, my father. With Orwell, Astra, Saturn, and Castor, nothing could stop me. Except for the Zangoose of the Strength Room. A lucky critical hit after a swords dance with Slash took out my valiant ally Saturn, and I was more ready than ever to crush my father after what his gym trainer did to my friend. Orwell maxed out his attack and defense with bulk up, and took everyone out with a single Double Kick. After this, wally's father granted me Surf, which i immediately taught to Astra. I knew Wattson of Mauville City would be waiting for me, so i headed back to get the key to New Mauville. My first encounter was a Magnemite. As Castor the Swablu was sent out, I thought he would be a great addition to my team. Castor could weaken him without killing him, and I could add the Magnemite to my team. I was so naive. Magnemite killed my Swablu, not without being captured. I suppose it is the circle of life, but I will never let Flo the Magnemite forget what it took from me. After surfing from Petalurg to Slateport to train Flo, it was time to head back to Mauville, not after getting a time of 9.31 seconds on Cycling Road :) Astra, Orwell, and Flo proceed to smash every opponent as we head to the weather institute. A Tropius is caught. As I enter the institute, I decide Enigma might be a good addition to the team, and I decide to take him out to train. The weather institute was a breeze (Get it?), and Castform is duly awarded and boxed, no after receiving the Mystic Water which is given to Astra. I know that May is waiting for me just ahead, so it is time to prepare. If only we could travel together and not fight... What? No, no feelings there! Moving on!

Wall of text, yes, but it is a journey that is to be documented.
I'm not going to do the boxed guys anymore, I'll only mention Pokemon I'm either using, or that have fallen.

-Team Avatar- (Oh I miss that show!)
Spoiler:

Astra the Pelipper - Level 36

Orwell the Combusken - Level 35

Flo the Magneton - Level 36

Enigma the Trapinch - Level 24

-The Fallen: You Shall Never Be Forgotten-
Spoiler:

Kronk, the Koffing. Level 29

Castor the Swablu, level 21

Saturn the Alakazam - Level 31

Dusk the Poochyena - Level 4

Let me know if you guys like the type of updates I'm giving! If it's boring/uninteresting I'll just keep it to short and non-personal updates.
