Um just a quick question, with the one Pokemon in each area rule, does that mean the first one you see after you get Pokeballs or does it mean if you catch one Pokemon in the area you can't catch another
It's kind of both, some people just start the rule after they get the Pokeballs.

But the traditional rule is if you successfully catch a Pokemon, no second Pokemon at all, even if you fail to catch it for any reason other than game corruption, too bad. Does that answer your question? If you need anymore help, don't hesitate to ask me.

Anyways, I'll probably post my ending team for Black 2 even though I never signed up here, it was a personal nuzlocke, but I'll post my ending team here. I'm in Castelia Sewers now. :):)

Got another update, and its fairly sizeable, since I was able to take on two Gym Leaders, and get all the way over to Verdanturf Town.

Spoiler:
One place I didn't look in was the Pokemon School, which funnily enough, I ended up forgetting was here. So anyway, I went in and picked up the Quick Claw that the teacher hands out, and bumped into that creepy guy Scott. Insulting my pride as a Trainer... who does he think he is!?

Anyway, I decided to head on over to Route 105, so that I could capture a new team member, which is when I found Alexis, the Taillow! (female, Lvl. 7, Adamant)

Objective Progressed!

- Catch four more Pokemon (3/4 captured)

She would be a very weclome member of the team, so I decided to train her and Jones up a bit, before I took on the Gym; everyone but Jones and Porter, who I got to Level 13 to challenge the Gym with. Zippy had an awful time of it against School Kid Karen, who got ridiculously lucky with 3 immobilisations in a row, knocking Zippy all the way from 32 to 5 HP, but thankfully, he was able to take it down. I did end up going over to Rusturf Tunnel and managed to catch Carla the Whismur (female, Lvl. 6, Bold) before taking on the Gym, but I decided to leave training her up until after the Gym, since I knew I wouldn't be using her, at least for now.

Objective Complete!

- Catch four more Pokemon (4/4Captured)

Lewis' bad luck with critical hits continued, as this time he took a critical hit Uproar to the face which
very nearly gave me my first loss of the game. It did a huge chunk of damage that left him on 1HP, and I immediately bailed him out and got Kiri to take it out, but that Whismur... it got another critical hit that thankfully only did 10 damage. This isn't good for my heart... lol The rest of the time Lewis took crits, which were many times, he was at a HP level that could handle it comfortably. Though it did make training him rather difficult...

Zippy had a bad time with Uproar as well; missing
three times in a row with Tackle, leaving him with 6HP. But he came out on top, despite the tense moment. Speaking of Zippy actually, he seemed to have a thing about Great Balls, as soon as he hit Level 11... 5 of the 7 Pickups he's found had been Great Balls, so he was making sure I was well stocked on Pokeballs, at least.

After a while, I managed to get all my Pokemon that I didn't plan on using in the Gym to level 15, headed to the Pokemon Center and headed straight for the Gym, after making sure my supplies were in order.

I waded through the Gym Trainers and challenged my first Gym Leader, Roxanne. I decided to lead with Porter to let him get the easy experience from the Geodudes she uses, which worked out perfectly. But when she sent out Nosepass, I knew that she'd be able to survive one Super Effective hit, so I brought in Jones to take care of it. Thankfully, the Rock Tomb missed, so I'd gotten a free switch-in!

Jones pretty much dominated the fight thankfully (after all, the Nosepass blocked him from escaping, so I couldn't switch out if anything went wrong), though he did take a critical hit, that dealt just less than half health to him, but with Leech Seed and Absorb, he was able to whittle down the Nosepass through the two health recovery items she had and into defeat.

So I got the Stone Badge!

...and the Rock Tomb TM!

All happy that I'd got the badge, I headed out of the Gym and oh no! Some pirate guy had stolen some goods! So I ignored it and healed my Pokemon at the Pokemon Center, hah... but then I did follow the two guys who ran off towards the north end of the city. After more awkward shuffling through the grass and nervously trudging through the Tunnel for fear of Lewis' life, I found the pirate guy who had stolen Peeko! Mr. Briney's Wingull! As an owner of a Wingull myself, I stomped up to the guy and kicked him to the curb, freeing Peeko and liberating the Goods that he had stolen!

Mr. Briney seemed to be happy, as he left for his cottage on Route 104 South, and the clerk guy-person was so happy, that he gave me... a Great Ball... ehh...

He did take me to the president, and insulted that one of his employees would be as cheap as to only give a Great Ball for the help I had given his company, he gave me a PokeNAV for agreeing to deliver a letter to his son, Steven in Dewford and the Goods I recovered from the Aqua goon to the Slateport Shipyard! So with a quick warning about Team Aqua and Magma, I was off on the road again! An employee gave me the Match Call feature as I left, and when I walked towards the southern exit of the city, I forgot all about Brendan, who challenged me to a battle.

I easily beat him, and picked up Carla after giving Lewis a rest, so that I could train her. It took a while, but I trained her all the way up to Level 20, where she evolved. The reason behind it was that I wanted to try and keep all my Pokemon on an equal level, since then I'd be able to switch them in as I need them, and it doesn't just leave them all cooped up in boxes all the time. The naming rule in action!

Anyway, after the training session and the purchase of some Paralyse Heals, I decided to give good ol' Mr. Briney a visit so that I could make my way to Dewford.

Once there, I quickly picked up the Old Rod from the fisherman in town and went to fish out a Water-type Pokemon from the shore in the town. I got pretty lucky, and pulled out a Tentacool that I named Talina (female, Lvl. 9, Calm), who I decided to head back to Petalburg Woods to train. Problem being, she wasn't all that good with just Poison Sting, and since I didn't have any TMs I could teach her, I decided to leave her at Level 11 and train her later, once she had a move I could work with.

Because I like going through caves practically blind, I decided to feel my way through Granite Cave, in the process, capturing Rosetta the Zubat (female, Lvl. 8, Quiet) I was a little disappointed in ending up with a Zubat, but after getting through Granite Cave to see Steven and obtain the TM for Steel Wing, she really started to impress me! She did have a close call with a Geodude, though; I accidentally ordered her to attack when she was really low on HP, but thanks to confusion, the Geodude managed to kill itself! I should really be more careful...

Since Lewis was at a huge disadvantage in this Gym, I decided to let him rest again, and opted to instead bring out Rosetta; though she didn't have any Flying-type moves yet, she would be more useful in a Fighting-type Gym for resistances sake. I decided to do a little more than just make sure my Pokemon were a good level; seeing as Porter and Alexis were going to be the main two Pokemon I'd be using in this Gym, I gave Alexis the King's Rock that Zippy had picked up from somewhere to try and get some flinches on the Pokemon she didn't outright KO.

I fought through the Gym Trainers easily enough, and after a while, it was Brawly's turn to face the music of Flying-type Pokemon! The first two Pokemon he used went down easily enough; the only problem I encountered was with Meditite, who used Focus Punch when I switched into Jones. Amazingly he survived, and it kinda felt like all he knew was Focus Punch, because for the rest of his turns, he spammed it while I siphoned off his HP to replenish Jones' supply. I daresay I was probably getting a little arrogant in how comfortable I was with the Gym after that, and when he sent out his Makuhita, I thought it best to let Porter get some battle time... but with a Bulk Up under its belt, the Makuhita dealt MASSIVE damage with Vital Throw, launching poor Porter into the far wall and ending his journey with me... it was a real blow, to be sure.

...and things were not looking too easy, all of a sudden. I struggled to decide who to send out, and eventually decided on Kiri, who managed to burn him with Ember, though even with a burn, possibly causing myself more grief than I'd have liked because of the possibility of Guts, the Makuhita, after building up more Bulk Ups, was still doing about 3/4 HP damage to Kiri... a critical hit would have taken her down in one fell swoop, and I'd be down two Pokemon from one Gym...

But thankfully, with the power of Super Potions and some insane luck in terms of avoid critical hits, she was able to survive and take down the Makuhita.

I'd gotten the Knuckle Badge and the Bulk Up TM... but it came at the cost of a dear friend's life...

R.I.P Porter
Fought valiantly against Brawly's Makuhita,
but was unable to take such a heavy blow...

You will forever be missed.

Level 3-16

We all left the Dewford Gym with heavy hearts, but soldiered on to Slateport after adding Lewis to the party again, where the first darn battle we had was with a Wingull, of course... and every Sailor that I encountered had one, too... *sniffle*

It was something to be expected, though; people are going to have a Pokemon you once had along the line, regardless... but it was just a little too soon.

Anyway, I hit Slateport, went to the Shipyard to find that the Captain wasn't around, and hit the Museum, to have a look at the fancy exhibits. Turns out the Captain was actually in the museum, musing over a model replica of the S.S. Anne, and when I approached him to give him the Goods, some Aqua goons approached to try and take them from us. But I was able to put them down easily. Then the Aqua leader showed up and warned me not to meddle in their affairs again... pfft.

Route 110 was my next destination, where I managed to secure Lucile the Electrike! (female, Lvl. 13, Quiet) Poor Lewis ended up with another time-out in the box so that I could train her up, and then I decided to head on up towards Mauville City, but not before doing the first Trick Master 'puzzle' and revisiting Route 103 to collect and battle what I couldn't from the west side of the river that flows through it.

After doing that, I met Brendan for another battle, where he gave me the Itemfinder after I beat him, but not before he cheekily said that he was surprised that I'd been training... >_>;;

Mauville City was kind-of uneventful; I picked up the HM for Rock Smash from the Rock Smash Gu... I mean... "Rock Smash Dude", got the Mach Bike since I'll likely be using it sooner than the Acro Bike and fought Wally outside the Gym, where Alexis easily dispatched his Ralts in one attack. That creepy Scott guy showed up again, too. He must have been gambling in the Game Corner when he saw me dispatch Wally's Ralts. He doesn't seem to know anything about Pokemon, though. He thinks that being a trainer is all about power... Oh, how little you know, Mr. Creepy Man.

Anyway, onto Route 117, where I picked up Lucas the Oddish (male, Lvl. 13, Hasty) and fought a bunch of Trainers. Realising I'd forgotten something for the Game Corner though, I ran back to Mauville and cycled all the way back to Slateport via Cycling Road to pick up some Harbour Mail, so that I could give it to the girl in the first house for the Coin Case! I'll have to do some slots, at some point...

But anyway, I'm presently just getting prepared for the upcoming Gym battle, now. The loss of Porter was pretty hard on me, so I think I'll get a few more levels on my party before I take the Gym on.

Pokemon Engrish Emerald:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvVyQmllGH4

Yeah, that's right, didn't expect there to be an Engrish Emerald now did ya?! Well we randomly stumbled upon it and figured "hey les nuzlocke it cuz no onez ever done an emerald nuzlocke hehehehe". But hey, at least it's original in the sense that it's terribly translated?!

Pokemon Vietnamese Crystal:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp-8bbWiBQQ

Yeah, this game's been done before, but my friend, Doubletroubeify, wanted to do a terribly translated Pokemon game, and Zyrtec (the other guy Engrish Emerald) already took that one, so I was like "HEY WHY NOT". So ya, not much to say, so I'll stop saying things!

Both runs follow these rules:

Mandatory Rules:
1. If a Pokemon faints, you must release it as soon as possible.
2. If all your Pokemon faint, you must start over. But we're not gonna start over, we'll probably just give up and never do anything ever again.
3. You must nickname every Pokemon you catch.
4. You may only attempt to capture the first Pokemon you encounter in each area, route, cave, city, etc. If you don't catch it, tough ****.

Optional Rules:
1. You may not use any healing items (Revive, Antidotes, etc.)

Oh yeah and if you guys end up being interested in our runs (LOL YEAH OKAY), we also have finished nuzlocke runs of Engrish Green (lol too many terribly translated games ftw?) and this one really really really unfair hack, Pokemon Snakewood.

Thanks for your time and all that really appreciative stuff!

-??? had a hissy fit over me receiving a Pokemon at the Lab

-Was challenged by ???
-Challenge over! Agunimon was defeated! I guess I should have realised that I would never be able to do a Nuzlocke challenge!

Another update incoming! I only managed to get the third Gym in this one, since things were starting to get a little lengthy, and I thought I'd update here before I actually took the next Gym on. I'll probably try for two Gyms in the next update, or even three, considering there isn't much now between Flannery, Norman and Winona. (though if I recall correctly, there is New Mauville-- or whatever the Generator place is called)

Spoiler:
I'm pretty sure that before the next Gym, I boosted everyone in the party up to about Level 23, just so I had a little cushion to work with. There were really only going to be two Pokemon I would be using in this Gym, considering Alexis and Rosetta had type disadvantages, and while Lucile had the resistance, they too had the resistance to her moves.

At Level 22 though, Alexis and Rosetta evolved into Swellow and Golbat, respectively! Not too far behind was Jones, who evolved into Breloom one level later, and on my training quota for the next Gym. Another great thing was that he also learned Mach Punch, which would come in handy for any of the evil Pokemon that also have the Steel-type.

The Electric-type Gym wasn't so much Electric, as it was other types with Electric-type moves; one in particular was a Youngster who had a Zigzagoon that didn't get to do anything, heh. But Wattson was fun, if only for how jovial he is. Kiri managed to make short work of his Voltorb and Electrike, but I had to switch her out and bring in Jones, because she'd taken a fair bit of damage amazingly enough, and was paralysed by the Electrike. (I think it was Static activating on turn 1) The Magneton went down pretty easily, but the Manectric was a bit of a pain. For one, it critical hit Jones to red with Shock Wave, and the constant healing Wattson did to it made the fight much longer than it needed to be.

Thankfully though, Leech Seed and Mega Drain ruled the day, once again and I got my third badge, the Dynamo Badge, as well as the Shock Wave TM!

Zippy was the one to learn Rock Smash, now that I could use it, and we headed over to the Rusturf Tunnel to see how things were going, over there. It turns out that black belt is a bit rubbish, since he was still standing in front of the rocks, so I told Zippy to smash (I wish I got a Makuhita now, 'cause I'd have called him Hulk and thought him the move, heh...) and broke open the path back to Rustboro City! Turns out he was using the wrong move, 'cause he gave me the Strength HM after I opened up the path. Guess he wasn't the brightest Black Belt at the Dojo.

Doubling back, I saw that creepy office guy stood at the entrance to the cave... it was almost as if he was waiting for me to come, but at least he didn't give me a Great Ball, this time... instead, he gave me a Repeat Ball, which he said his company had just developed.

I pressed onward and visited the president, who gave me the EXP. Share, which would make training Talina 100 times easier.

Back through the Tunnel! I headed north from Mauville, and bumped into a family of four, known as the Winstrates. Rosetta easily dispatched the lot of their Pokemon, and for my troubles, they gave me the Macho Brace, which kind of wasn't worth it, at the moment...

Anyway, a Rock Smash later, I was on Route 111, but due to a sandstorm, I had to take the long way around and go west, picking up Norman the Numel (male, Lvl. 14, Gentle) on Route 112. Heading through the Fiery Path after panicking in front of a Hiker who I realised had Geodudes that could likely EXPLODE, I managed to get my hands on Natalie the Torkoal! (female, Lvl. 15, Sassy)

Up and around we go, I managed to get to the northern section of Route 111 with no hassle. Since I had the Mach Bike, I jumped on, and precariously cycled up the slope near the desert to take on the Black Belt that was hiding there and look for items. Coming down from the hill further north, I got to a house where a kind woman let me rest, but tried getting me in a loop by continually asking if I wanted to rest again... I know our tricks, woman!

I was dreading getting to Route 113. Why? Because I knew exactly what Pokemon I would end up with. Spinda. "You just watch! I'll end up encountering a Spinda, and then something awesome will show up just to troll me! I've seen it in all the other comics!"

A wild Skarmory appeared!

...wat...

Upon catching Quentin the Skarmory (male, Lvl. 16, Jolly), I happily skipped along the rest of the route, until I realised there were some kids hiding in the soot with explosive Koffings... so I raaaan, I ran so far awaaaaay! Picked up the Soot Sack from the shack, and headed over to Fallabor Town. Not a whole lot to do, so after healing up and a small amount of exploring, I headed out to Route 114 and entered the house near the cliff.

The guy inside was kind enough to give me the Dig TM, but his older brother was a jerk and said he wasn't going to give me any fossils... an old man gave me the TM for Roar, after telling me that somehow, his Poochyena could only Roar in battle... somehow... and I headed on through the grass, avoiding wild encounters until later. (I'd only want Swablu from there, and I kinda already have three flying Pokemon)

Meteor Falls were next, and the first Pokemon I managed to encounter... Solrock! But because the darn thing wasted all my Pokeballs, I ended up having to defeat it and move on.

Turns out Team Magma were having around the Falls, picking on some poor scientist guy and going on about some kind of meteorite. Then Maxie showed up, then Archie of Team Aqua showed up, and Magma high-tailed it out of there! Figures... people who use Fire-types would run from those who use Water... but it turns out they stole the Meteorite from the scientist guy! The NERVE! To Mt. Chimney!

But first, I decided to train up Lewis. He'd been sitting in the box for a while and Talina was still being a pain in not learning any Water-type attacks, so I thought it best to bring him out so that he could stretch his legs. (he'd not been out since before reaching Mauville, after all) So I got him to Level 18 first, where he evolved into Mightyena! Then boosted him all the way up to Level 25; just one level off of the party. With everyone levelled up, and Lucile evolving into Manectric, I headed to Mt. Chimney!

"Poochyena. Poochyena everywhere," said Kiri as she put her arm on my shoulder and pointed out towards the sorry excuse of a battlefield, while I held a forlorn expression. Guess Team Aqua aren't serious enough. Suppose I'll have to save the world from an angry Magmar-infested volcano!

So I marched up to Maxie and had Lewis slap his Mightyena in the face, but considering he likes spamming his favourite moves, Sand-Attack and Super Potion, Lewis needed out for the Zubat. Lucile took care of it nicely, but needed out come his Camerupt, who I thought would be a goodd Pokemon to beat with Lewis... but considering Maxie likes CHEATING and tells his Pokemon exactly what kind of Magnitude he wants them to do, he crumbled poor Lewis with a Magnitude 10... Rosetta took care of the Camerupt after that, and as Maxie fled the volcano, I was left with a sense of regret, once again...

R.I.P Lewis the Mightyena
Fought with all his heart against Maxie's Camerupt,
but could not withstand the powerful Magnitude that followed.
You will never be forgotten...
Level 3-26

...and that's where I will leave this part-- on a horrible loss. May the next Gym go by without any issues...

BOSS FIGHT:
I went into the battle confident my Kadabra could sweep his team. With a little Psychic, Giovanni's Onix and Ryhorn wouldn't be bothering us again. Against my better judgement, I decided Psychic could probably take out the Kangaskhan...It sent it's health down into the red zone, but with one Mega Punch, Kadabra had fallen. I sent Hades to finish him off, and hopefully Giovanni too. Hades burnt the Kangaskhan to a crisp, while at the same time using a powerful flamethrower to bring the Rocket Hideout to the ground. He used fly to take us through the flames, heading toward the game corner stairs. I called him into his pokeball and hit the switch to the stairway. Hopefully the game corner structure can hold with the oven under it. I told everyone to evacuate just in case. I watched from outside to see if Giovanni was coming out. After about 6 hours I decided that he was dead. I headed to the Pokemon Tower to bury Kadabra.

In Memory Of BigTooth

Okay since last time I never really confirmed the rules im using. I'll use 1 3 4 and 5.

A Poisonous Forest

I caught a Pikachu in Viridian Forest And nicknamed it Zapp. (The thing almost took out SQUIRTLE!) He's a tough little thing. I trained Zapp up a little bit before battling. He went up to Level 6. (Misty's a dead woman. Or maybe Zapp will be a dead man?) WormThang went to level 5. Zapp got poisoned and we found an antidote at the last step. Hallelujah! And then Squirtle got poisoned near the end and barely got to the Pokemon Center.... I have good and bad luck with poison...

Working Out at the Gym

When I got to the Pokemon Center, I boxed WormThang as he probably wouldn't be needed for this gym. Then we went to the gym. There was an old dude that was... weird. Bye. I battled the boy and then Brock. Squirtle is gaining levels like its nobody's buisiness! I bubbled my way to victory, earning myself the Boulderbadge.

Mt. Moon

As I go on, I get the running shoes. I also realize that I have to catch another Pokemon. Well Zapp actually learned a new move, Quick Attack. And Squirtle is close to evolving so yeah. Our next Pokemon issssss...... Lucky me. A Nidoran(F)! I catch her, nickname her Zoey, and switch her to the front to grind her. (I promise you, I really encountered it on my first try.) I healed at the pokecenter by Mt. Moon and ground Zoey to level 12. I soon encountered a Jigglypuff, which made me mad. After that we entered Mt. Moon.....

The Nuzzlers:

Squirtle Level 15
Nidoran(F) (Zoey) Level 12
Pikachu (Zapp) Level 12

Boxers:

Caterpie (WormThang)

Deceased:

Rattata (BigTooth)

And how do you get the spoiler tags? So I can be more organized next update.
